  1. I feel the bite of more power coming on.
  2. I have to agree with @Mopar1973Man on the Quad. Wish they had come out a year earlier. Much more adjust ability. Listened to every one here that had one and bragged on them. A quad is in my future but I thing a new head is going to take my Quad money for now.
  3. Well that does appear to be primitive. Surprised the levels are so close together in what they add.
  4. Set in on three and experiment. My Banks was a pump tap tuner where the EZ is not. Not sure how much difference it makes, but you can play with it. Mine smoked a little but only when got on it hard. Cleared right up when the turbo spooled. The 50's I have on mine right now with the comp are smokier than I like. Seems to smoke less on 5X3 that 3X3. Maybe level 3 on the EZ will help. I just dont know.
  5. I had a Banks 75hp tuner in mine when I installed the RV's. The Banks was good but the injectors really complimented it. It was a good set up.
  6. Your going to like them. I loved mine. A little bump in power and mpg. Be interested in seeing how you like them. I think they are fantastic for someone not looking fro big horse power as I was at the time. Still not by the way but 400 would not make me sad. To many others in the way that at the moment.
  7. I pulled mine out at 250k and dont think there was anything wrong with them. They probably lost some efficiency over the years but the mileage remained the same. But like @trreed says there is no way to say unless you want to spend the money and time to have them tested. I would say put them in and see what happens as long as there were no problems to begin with. My stockers were laggy too. Had to roll into the throttle to make them better. Kind of the same thing I have with the 50's I have now.
  8. Have you looked in the bellcrank to see if there is an adjustment to take up the slack in the cable? Appears to be no way to do it at the pedal.
  9. I hope does. Sorry I could not help. My blend door is operated by small motor and not a cable. Yours must be on the cusp of the change.
  10. My sentiments exactly. Really could not find a better deal on a the full dash when I did mine and I did not want a cover. $200 om the bezel was not cheap either but again wanted new and the cheap ones seemed to have some issues.
  11. Looks like some kind of retainer clip on that pin. I have had mine out but there were no cables on it.
  12. The port with the schrader valve is good place for a test gauge to be attached. It is best to get a FP gauge back away from the VP but after your last filter. That install was done using a Vulcan big line kit. It has bigger fittings than the stock banjo bolts for better flow. The fitting on the my VP still has a port for testing purposes, it came with the big line kit.
  13. I am pretty sure the one from air dog will NOT have the protective relay @IBMobilehas in his. Theirs is just a relay like the rest in the PDC.
  14. Sorry to hear this Mike. I know he meant a lot to you.
  15. I would clear the codes and see if they come back. Then chase them.
  16. Spoke too soon. It started surging again.
  17. I put the LMC dash pad in a few years back and it still looks great. Just put a new LMC dash bezel in and quite pleased with it also. I have not seen the Geno's to be able to pass an opinion on it.
  18. I will be seeing mine soon and have been trying figure out why not to go back with the oe stuff. Mine has held up for over 400k. That seems pretty good to me.
  19. If you have doubts about building the harness, I am pretty sure you can it. Another Eric question. And i assume from what you wrote you see how the the whole will be controled. It will operate just like oe.
  20. Might be the ones I have. We will never know unless they fall apart tomorrow for participating in this discussion.
  21. I must have a bad magnetic field around me wreaking havoc on the electrical system. I am getting a little better with it as I dig into it, but still pretty much electrically cornfused.
  22. I have to agree @Mopar1973Man. My oe last just ove 200k. I had 200k on the replacements when i changed. Bought one from NAPA and one from somewhere else never looked to even see where they came from, I had to have them. The ones I put on around 410k cmae from a member here 6 or so years ago. Paid him $150 for the pair. They were not in boxes nor did they have any writing on the bearings. Hope they last 200k. When i grew up in the 50's and 60's Made in Japan was the sign of cheap stuff. Look at them now. Sure some crappy stuff still comes out of China, but the American co's that use them wont stay in buisness long with cheap crap failing all over the place.
  23. I got another unexpected bonus out of changing out the pump. My engine surging stopped. Has not done it once since changing it out. Been dealing with this for quite a while and got it to stop about a year ago while messing with the map sensor. After resealing my hydro boost the MAP sensor went wacky again and I found a bad splice in the 5v sensor signal wire. Fixed it and the MAP sensor works fine but the surging came back. Now a new lift and no surging.
