XRF Balljoints
The nuts on mine are on the bottom and in the axle. They are not aligned either. I have the later axle. Does anyone know the right part # for an 02? Spicer that is.

XRF Balljoints
In my looking around the prices are all over the place. Not everyone has them for the 00-02. I found these http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/p1731_dana_spicer_708047_ball_joint_set_for_2000_to_2002_dodge_250.html . 2 sets including $18 for shipping is still less than I paid for the moog 3 years ago. Almost seems to good to be true. i would buy from a vendor here but I dont see any one who carries them. I also dont know anything about Denny's driveshafts either.

XRF Balljoints
I am running into the same thing. Been looking at more ball joints than ever care to again. My left front is getting some play and so it the unit bearing, very slight. I am not going that far in without doing it all. I have Moog now with about 80k mile or so. Same ones are about $100 for the upper and lower one side. Rock auto has some DANA shown for $65 for both upper and lower. They are listed for my truck but says for a Dana 44 diff so I dont think they will fork for my 60. I have DANA/Spicer listed else where for $75 a pair for DANA 40/60 diff. Still not sure on those either. Seems every where I look for reviews it is a equal pro and con. A lot of the ones I see are 2 and 3 years old or more. My OE lasted 200k. i need more of those. As far as the carli's and dynatrac's, thats a lot of cash to lay out. If one does fail, even if they give you a new, you still have to go in there replace. matter of fact i am not sure if both of them make them for the 00-02. Synergy is another brand I have been seeing but still about equal on pro and con.Whats a man to do?

Squeaking from the middle passenger area during hard acceleration in the cab of the truck
I did post a thread on doing mine but cant find it and dont remember exactly what those screws went into. does it still squeak even after re tightening the screws and when does do it? by that I mean at shut down, just driving, or bumpy roads and the like.

Left turn signal doesn't blink with headlights on
Always good to see them fixed, no matter the problem.

potatoes, potatoes, and more potatoes
Rape seed is one of the ingredients of bio diesel also. Cant remember it it is biomass or bio blend. Not sure who ever controls it knows either. They seem to overlap one another from what i have read.

Drag Link Replacement
I remember turning 50. That's the day I forgot how to zip up my zipper before going to work. Still haunts me to this day.

Drag Link Replacement
I replaced my drag link about 4 or 5 years ago along with every thing. I had the whole thing apart so it did not seem any worse than the others. But the track is only one nut and bolt, another nut and a pickle fork and it is out. Still weighs 20 #'s though. And I am 62.

Drag Link Replacement
Looks a little dry in there. I have a track bar sitting at the house waiting for me to get home.

The potato museum is in the SE par of the state. Did not know you had flat lands that close to you. You could be out in Kansas or Nebraska if it wasn't for the hill in the back ground.

Help....Know just enough to be dangerous and having problems
you at least need this to help look after a new VP, even an old for that matter.

potatoes, potatoes, and more potatoes
As I remember someone told that they did not grow potatoes in Idaho and I developed a curiosity on said potatoes.

Help....Know just enough to be dangerous and having problems
There is a locking tab that holds it in place. It is on top of the connector and pulls slightly down and away from the VP towards the fender well.

engine dies after hard acceleration, hard start/no start after
Does the fuel pressure stay good up to the shut down? Sounds like it is getting some air in the system with the hard start after it shuts down.

Tepee Fire
That is some pretty spooky stuff there Mike. Happy to hear you are getting some rain, hopefully it helps out and you don't get to much. Nothing better than having appreciative people who recognize what you are accomplishing. You have my respect. Be safe.

Help....Know just enough to be dangerous and having problems
You might check the wiring harness connector and be sure it is on tight and has not worked itself loose, but it ain't looking good for the VP. Clean the connector while you are at it.

Help....Know just enough to be dangerous and having problems
Hello and welcome. The first thing I recommend is to check for trouble codes. Most auto parts will have you one can borrow with a deposit. You can use the key trick on an 01, though it does not always read both computers. Turn the switch on off, on off, on leaving the key in the on position. Do not start the truck just cycle the switch. Then look at the odometer and it will display the codes. You should see P ECU then the codes, then P PCU and the codes, then P done. If you see P done after P ECU then you will need a scanner. The codes will help point you in the proper direction of what might be wrong. With out them we are just guessing. Also If you would go to your profile and click edit profile there is a signature heading were you can enter the info on your truck, mods and such. That way all can see what you are working with.

Fuel lubricity
When looked at mine, not all by any means, they were not cracked. I did stop looking as soon as I found a section that I could read. I can see the temp being that high in the pump and most likely the return line. My filters are barely warm to the touch. Might keep checking them just to see what as as the tank gets lower.

Fuel lubricity
My hose says Eaton Easy Couple H20108. I did not catch whether or not it is part of the Boston series or not. According to their website it is made of nitrile, both inner and outer. There FAQ states that if the lines are exposed to constant temps of 125*C and B-20 or greater that they will degrade quicker. I find it hard to believe that the fuel is getting anywhere near that hot. The AD is about 6 years old. Any way I will probably replace mine one day due to the fact I am seeing more and more blended fuel on my trips. I have one line that I have been needing to shorten and I just might do that and see if there is any damage being done. As far as the B-5 is concerned the truck seems to like it better, the Bio diesel blend with no percentage marked that is. I will have to call blue chip and see if they know whether or not my pump is ok with it. Contrary to what I said above the pump is 6 years old.
