  1. Then it isn't necessary at all. That can be pulled off.
  2. IIRC the torque converter fluid goes directly towards that heat exchanger too. So it's fairly important.
  3. Everything is breakable. It all boils down to the strength of the material being used (in this case quality of the cast and wall thickness), and use. Guys who drive hard and shut the truck down right away will eventually see cracks due to excessive latent heat. Guys who let the truck cool to 300-350* will usually see a longer service life. That being said, I don't like Dorman parts either. In my experience, they are usually made cheaply and perform cheaply.
  4. Should be just enough air space to help.
  5. Find 3" (4"?) U bolts with long shanks. Clamp it to the pipe, and then hold your shield using two nuts on the exposed threads.
  6. You're keeping the entire powertrain, right? I'd leave that. It's very effective at what it does.
  7. You probably will have to take the downpipe off. It'll be two bolts that face the ground.
  8. Could've been bad out of the box.
  9. My thought was that you may be running the wrong box on the truck, i.e. an ADR1000 box on an 01 or 02 truck, and the jumper was missing from inside, throwing off your boost reading, but your year and box match. So back to square 1 I guess.
  10. Between the high idles? One sounds like the truck when you rev it, and the other sounds like a machine gun.
  11. No. normal idle is 800. Both 3 and 6 cyl high idle is at 1200ish
  12. In the Adrenaline, it will rev the truck to 1200 rpm after a set amount of time if a few conditions are met (temperature, power level = 0, etc)
  13. No. Quad has its own high idle software that doesn't play nice with the OEM high idle.
  14. Agreed. Stock. As for getting it off, I would definitely soak the turbo mounting bolts in PB Blaster a few days before attempting to remove them. And the manifold bolts I'd soak in PB Blaster as well and then attempt to remove them when the motor is a touch warm (120* or so)
  15. If a pump is driven by the output shaft, then yes, the pump will be turning when the car is pushed. But almost all pumps these days are driven off the input shafts, meaning its impossible to turn them by push starting.
  16. Yeah but it’s better cause it’s high horsepower dizzels
  17. What year is your truck and what is the model number of the quadzilla you're using (ARD1000, ARD1001, etc)?
  18. They should. have you set up your drivetrain info under settings?
  19. That nozzle was running the outdoor two stroke. Issa old nozzle cause they're not in the trok anymore. New nozzles haven't been pulled since they've only been in a week and I don't wanna touch them.
  20. Level 3 is 0 wiretap, full range of CANBus fueling. Your wiretap won't kick on until both 20% throttle input and 10 psi of boost are met. EDIT: Just noticed your min pump tap fuel percentage is 5%. That means there's always 5% wiretap when using your wiretap levels.
  21. Old nozzle. Running that oil. All soft soot that wipes off real nice.
