  1. I never heard of stalling truck till recently. Mine stalled and died a few times but due to bigger injectors.
  2. Didnt know all that. Somehow it all works out. If your ever in bind I can run things up. For now I may starve not be able to wipe my *** but I'll be ******* welding even if the lights go out
  3. Mike I dont think you need to go anywhere noone drives passed McCall anyways Yesterday I got wire and tips for my welder some flap disc and cutting wheels I don't have any food in house and two rolls of toilet paper. But I'll sure as hell be working on my jeep
  4. Put neutral idling for 5 or 10 minutes. See what that does. Power braking is super heating the fluid. Might be a temperature thing
  5. Pdc? Terminals in fuse block? That's where I thinking to put. It Power distribution center.
  6. Wil do. Yes its been hooked to alternator per air dog directions
  7. New alt is charging well However lift pump wireing does not fair well wrapped around the fan No time working today hauling rd mix to Kuna working to stay working doing repairs and fixing my screw ups
  8. I don't know. Curious if it will start in gear
  9. I don't anything extra. Its changed now on the rd again. Factory alt had metal dust falling out of it
  10. Well I have an alternator on me. Running on battery power for 60 miles. Can she do it. Pumps down to 15psi. Not even to freeway meridian yet Maybe I have tools.
  11. Old ken and I are stopoing now for alternator . Hoping napa is open
  12. The place mike mentioned his great reputation. I do sometimes work near them but today
  13. Ok. I may just grab a alternator before parts stores close they're doors for awhile
  14. Did a throttle chop as check gauges light came on voltage reading zero. Got to job site checked cables fuses restart truck and voltage reading well under 14 but not tripping check gauges light. Alternator has 334665 miles on it. Anything else to check before I replace it. If I do replace it should I keep it to have rebuilt. Or turn in as a core. I'm in Star idaho closest place to me is NAPA . Thanks guys.
  15. 10/4 Mine runs almost the same locked in 3rd and 4th. Close enough I'd call it the same. When it sees ove the the 95ish could his computer be having issues?
  16. Isnt 122 alittle more pressure than stock. And about 50s at idle Also noticed TC lock in 3 and 4 is different. Should it be?
  17. Theres a small vacumn line by the power steering cap that can get damaged by breathing on it wrong.
  18. Just to feel 150s and that turbo on factory tune. I'm running almost factory tune 100s and a similar turbo. My injectors have some miles on them. May bump to 150s soon I don't feel I need much more than turbo and injectors
  19. Almost! Depends on where the user tunes the power to come in. Back in the day the smarty ws popular for its plug and play power off idle. Offcourse this is where the transmission is making its least amount of pressure. So it needs to be adjusted accordingly to compensate or fuel turned down. The smarty just isn't a programmable programmer like the quad that can be refined through pedal range and power band . I'm still uncertain what change sw# has compared to tm# seems it may change alittle with sw#
  20. If temps are regular over 150deg with no load I'd say theres large percentage of slipping
  21. How does it run. Ws thinking relentless when I redid my welder exhaust
  22. The more power we make from the fuel burned under the hood the more pressure we need from our hydraulic fluid in the transmission to hold that power. Does not matter what name is on the programmer . Us auto guys have more tuning to do but end up with good drivable combos that are a step above the stick sticking out of the hump in the floor. Ooooops did I say that
  23. 1200 sounds very fair to me
