  1. I have the Glowshift gauges in my truck and for the most part they are OK. I've had them about 2 years with no real issues. That being said, I am in the progress of upgrading them to ISSPro gauges. I have the FP gauge bought (used) already, just need the boost and EGT gauges. I did notice the Glowshift EGT gauge is slow to react compared to the Quad Adrenaline built in gauges but the boost is pretty close to the Adrenaline.
  2. Circumference = diameter times Pi or in your case C=35(your tire size)x3.14(Pi) or as stated above... Its nice to know the math behind the answer so you'll know how to calculate it again if you change your tire size
  3. Fits good. Nice and sturdy too. Not sure about the clearance for the shift though. It does come out even with the seat.
  4. I put one of these in. My trucks not a manual so not sure on the clearance but it don't go out over the seat. This one's a little on the expensive side but you can find them in the 30s and 40s on Amazon if you search.
  5. Wow, those look pretty nice. Thanks for the updated photo and the install tips.
  6. Thanks for the update. I think I might get them.
  7. Do you have a lift on your truck to be able to fit the 315s?
  8. I was just going to take them to a local machine shop here in town. I figured they wouldn't charge too much just to remove that lip but I never got the chance.
  9. I like the looks of the Hummer wheels on these trucks. In fact, the guy I got my truck from had a set that he was going to put on it and asked me if I wanted them to go with the truck but he never had them milled and I wasn't sure it was something I wanted to mess with so I said no. I changed my mind and went back a couple weeks later to get them and he had already sold them (to another dodge guy btw) so I put on some 3rd gen alloys. Live and learn
  10. Yeah, I went the cheaper route with the headlights. The H1 still looks great at night but I can't imagine how much better the D2S looks in real life if they are a wider beam. I'm not a fan of the halos or demon eyes so I didn't pay for any of that silliness... I liked the way your switchback LEDs looked in your video so I had to get some for myself. I need to have my wife drive in front of me at night to make sure those switchbacks aren't blinding people though. They sure are bright and they seem to cast light in all directions when I stand in front of the truck and look at them.
  11. Hey @Threadzy, any update on these? Are you still happy with them? Did they arrive in a timely manner? I have a notification that the seller is on vacation and to allow some extra time for shipping? I still have them in my cart and was going to pull the trigger on them.
  12. I agree with @Mopar1973Man, they are worth every penny! Being able to see the sides of the road clearly is amazing (and thats with the low beams) and it makes driving at night enjoyable. Just be aware you may have to swap the pins around in them or your highs/lows will be backwards. Simple to do though.
  13. My condolences. Having lost a parent, I can tell you that it doesn't get better but it does get easier. Hang in there and remember the good times. That's what will get you through. Also, don't forget you are not alone and don't forget to ask for help or someone to talk to. Don't hold it in. It took me a while to figure that out. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
  14. Hard to tell. Did you check the aim on them?
  15. The Halo Headlights have a LED ring around the main headlight.
  16. I remember reading somewhere about the truck sometimes see the high idle kicking in as a runaway and kills the engine to protect its self. I don't remember why this happens. Not sure if it has something to do with using factory high idle and the quad high idle... Hopefully someone else remembers and will chime in for ya...
  17. yeah. You want the LEDs on the left and right. It was worth a shot...
  18. Is there a way to "clock" those LED bulbs so the LEDs are on each side of the bulb in an attempt to spread the light horizontally and not vertically. With that much reflector in the housing though I don't know how much that will help but its worth a try if you can.
  19. I had the same issue on my truck after upgrading my lights to retroshop lights. I had to swap the pins around in the socket for the headlight plug. What I did was pulled all 3 pins out of the plug (headlight side, not the truck side) and plug them into the other socket and turn on lights and see, repeat till the headlights act as they should. Do a quick Google or YouTube search on the subject. Lots of articles and videos out there to help you out. Has something to do with the difference between 9004 and 9007 sockets.
  20. Got some more pics after checking the adjustment. This is the low beam at 25 feet.
  21. As promised, some pics of the new lights. Low beam High beam I wished I would have gotten some pics of the original lights before installing these so you could see the difference. The pattern is the same but these are so much brighter/whiter.
  22. What sticks out to me is a 0.0 for engine load. It shouldn't be 0, there should be some reading at idle . Also your throttle position is reading 9.8%. If this is at idle then your throttle position should be 0% Not sure what those readings mean. Could be just your reader or could be real issues (injectors, TPS, or ?). Hopefully someone more educated on these things will chime in.
  23. My . I am not a professional but if I was doing this I would put caulking in there for more water-proofing. I'd be afraid of water seeping through the grout and tub seam. I'd think caulking would seal better there. Like I said though, I'm no professional so use that info at your own risk...
  24. I drove my wife's Jeep JK after getting new lights for my truck and I realized that her Jeep was in desperate need of some new headlights also. I did some searching online for some good headlights. She said she wanted some Halo Headlights but I just couldn't bring myself to get those (**shudder**). I found a good review on these lights on Headlight Revolution. They mimic the same light pattern as the OEM style but a lot brighter. I took it out for a drive last night after installing them and they are really good. Night and day difference . The OEM halogens are more yellow and get washed out a lot by others coming at me especially in wet conditions (and that's 90% of the time here). Now I have no problem seeing the road lines during wet conditions with on coming traffic. I did have to "clock" the bulbs so the LEDs were on the left and right when locked into position in the housing. They supply a small allen wrench for doing this and even tell you in the install instructions to do this to have the correct light pattern. Other than that it was all just plug and play. Unfortunately I forgot my phone last night so I have no pictures but will get some next time I am able to take her Jeep out. I also bought LEDs for the fog lights that I have yet to install and LEDs for both dome lights inside, which I did install. They really brighten the inside of the Jeep when on.
