If the compressor is cycling then you might still be low on the 134A. How much have you put in? From the 2ed generation cab interior article "Basic Air Condition Repair" The A/C system requires 32oz of 134A for a full charge. When using a single use 12oz can you’ll need 3 cans. After adding 2 cans (which is 24oz) weigh the third can on the kitchen scale and make note of the weight. When adding the remaining 8oz (2/3 of the can) check the weight of the can occasionally. When the can is 8oz lighter you’re done.

I've had problems on and off with this transmission for the past year. First it would either have a delayed or no 1-2, 2-3 shift which was fixed with a new governor solenoid and pressure transducer. Now the torque convertor lock up won't work due to a bad convertor clutch. If I replace just the torque convertor I still have a valve body that has insufficient stock line pressure along with it's other drawbacks and a transmission that has been overheated. I call John @Dynamic transmissions and ordered a "Stage 2" transmission with a low stall speed Georend torque convertor. I hope to have it in a week or two. I've got another 1000 mile camping trip planed for October 2ed which will give it a good test drive..

Check the automatic shutdown relay; it may be going bad. You can also give the wire harness the old tug and shake test with the engine running.

Why not just one T off the 1/2" line for the fuel pressure gauge then tap that smaller line with a T for the Quadzilla. This way you only need one snubber and needle valve to eliminate the hammer effect on the down stream gauges.

Check the wires and connection from the trans to the PCM. When I was testing my trans with the trans unplugged from the PCM I would have the trans temp and O/D light on. If the connections are good then have the PCM tested.

Does terminal #87 of the ASD relay power up when cranking. Also check fuse #9 in the junction block. This fuse powers terminal #86 of the fuel pump relay and connector C1 terminal 2 at the PCM.

Your loosing prime, the fuel is draining back to the tank. You have a fuel fitting that not tight or an O-ring that is old and falling apart. Check all of your fuel lines and fittings. The fuel return line fitting at the back of the head has given problems. A few people have had the O-rings go bad.

After testing and conferring the consensus is my truck needs a new torque convertor. The truck is used 95% of the time towing a 8,000+ pound 5th wheel and the transmission is basically stock. Which brand is good and which type, stock or billet? Should it be a single or triple disk? High or low stall speed? Any thing else you can think of.

It sound like you had a mixed bag holiday with fun and new sights along with will we make it home in one piece. £500 to go 600 miles, that's about $1/mile. It might be cheaper to come to the States or Canada and rent a motorhome. You can go camping with @JAG1 and me.
