Morning Pic For Today...........Post A Pic around your place.....
I have the same issue. Found a few dead standing ash trees, dropped one figuring it was good and dry since all bark was falling off but the moisture content was at 30%. Ash usually dries very fast so I took it anyway. Then the weather turned a bit colder and have been using wood faster than I anticipated. Now I'm down to the damp stuff. Not getting the heat or consistent burns from it that I normally would.

Snow
Yeah, I'll definitely be exercising the knee. I need to do something. After the 3 month covid layoff and now being off almost another 3 months and the wife being a great cook I've gained more weight than I'm comfortable with. I think I've put on 20 pounds or so. It needs to go.

Snow
Your sending it this way aren't you? I see we're supposed to get another "winter storm" this weekend. The last one started out at 5-8 inches. Ended up being a dusting of snow. So we shall see. I'm still off for my knee, not going back to work until Feb 15th so maybe mother nature will get it out of her system now before I go back to work.

Snow
Please, keep that stuff out there with you. We have had hardly any measurable snow this year and I don't mind.

Hey.... Just Morning Coffee and Wired Up Chat........
No to mention the segregation of the voters. Nothing to do with race or anything else but the Dems and republicans are at serious odds right now and dividing our country when we all need to pull together to weather a storm. Since biden has taken office he has done nothing but drive a bigger wedge between the voters. Although I find it funny that since he has done all his executive orders and trashed things you don't hear alot of the pro joe banter that you heard 2 months ago. They seem to have gotten quiet. At least to a point.

37x12.5x16.5 military tires on 2nd gen. Plus 03-12 upgrade steering
I agree, I don't like them little low sitting anything. And the giant fart can exhaust on a 4 banger us rediculous. I like to see trucks with bigger tires and such, they do look great. Some trucks just looking at them need bigger tires to look right sometimes. I've just decided with this truck I will avoid doing those things. My wife is only 5'3" so she has a hard enough time getting in (put the steps on it for her) and we aren't getting any younger. To each his own, but I hope people don't stop lifting them and running bigger tires, I like to see them! Lol

37x12.5x16.5 military tires on 2nd gen. Plus 03-12 upgrade steering
I guess that's the bright side. You guys can make a living off of some else's stupidity. I myself have had bigger tires, 33x12.5x15 on a '95 gmc z71 and I noticed then that it ate steering parts on the regular. Pitman arms, idler arms and tie rods once every 18 months on average. I do my own work so after have the truck set up like that for 8 years it was getting old. After that truck and a bad experience with a '99 suburban at the same time I decided to sell both when I bought my '01 3500 Cummins. Haven't looked back. I've had a couple issues with the dodge but nothing out of the ordinary for a truck with 150k on it. Stock tire size and only "mod" is a fass ddrp lift pump. So far so good.

Snow
Yes, be careful mike. Roof will be very slick under that snow. Maybe even tie off if you can.

Weird Electric issues
Sounds very unlikely but is it possible a few wires got pulled from a plug and criss crossed somehow by the PO?

No 4hi, only 4lo
Thanks guys! I tried to figure it out but I was tired and coming up empty. Makes sense now. Thanks

No 4hi, only 4lo
I have to ask, what does CAD stand for?

37x12.5x16.5 military tires on 2nd gen. Plus 03-12 upgrade steering
wasn't trying to poke the bear. Just messin with ya mike. I agree with you on the ratio and tossing oversized tires on an axle that hasn't been modified to work with them. I'm guilty of doing it myself in the past. I refuse to do it to my truck now. I've outgrown that stage I guess.

Hey.... Just Morning Coffee and Wired Up Chat........
It's about the same here. I live outside of a small town. People here are great. When we need to go to a big box stores in the city that's where it shows the most.

I believe that was ben franklin? Or maybe washington. My memory isn't so good. I also agree with it though. There is a war at this point. Several fronts to it as well. There's the information war to keep us all misinformed of the truth. There is the racial issues that you see in the news but as a white man with colored friends and co workers I don't see it as bad as they portray on the news. Neither do the colored people I talk to about it. Then there is this gender bender thing going. I don't want to get started on that. I WILL offend someone. The morals of this country and most of the individuals in it have collapsed. People for the most part don't even so much as hold a door open for one another anymore. Common courtesy is gone. If we can't be courteous to each other how in the world will we get along at all. It's really sickening. The powers to be are taking full advantage of this division and taking measures that benefit them under the guise of uniting the people. I call BS! It's all about control for them. They use the division to control us because if we would truly unite they would be finished. Their biggest fear is for the people to act as one voice for one purpose. It would destroy all of the ground work they have been laying for decades.

Hey.... Just Morning Coffee and Wired Up Chat........
I've been somewhat laid up at home. Been dealing with a torn meniscus since before Thanksgiving. Had arthiscopic surgery on the 20th. All went well, knee feels much better but still not completely stable. Still swollen but I'll get there. Been watching some stuff online from alternative news sources on the recent developments in our country. It's very scary. I fear for alot if things. I've noticed since biden took office diesel around here has jumped $.30 already. Once he jacks the minimum wage up to $15/hour many restaurants and other business based on min. wage labor will surely fail. Then up goes unemployment again. He has shut down the pipeline project and put several thousand people out if work already. These are very uneasy times and I fear what will happen next.

High idle
I recently checked at a local dealer, gave them the TSB number. She looked it up and consulted with the manager. They said they will charge 1/2 hour labor which is $60 to do it. Didn't mean they know what they're doing though. I'd like to get it done before next winter. Probably when the temps start to drop.

Alternator quit...
Grid heater switch? Hmmm Explain?

Alternator quit...
I believe when I put mine in I'll possibly put a small zip tie on it to prevent it from falling out. Also check for a snug fit when I install as well. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Alternator quit...
So the fuse vibrated out of the holder and caused all these issues? Something so simple. I have yet to put the PCM fuse inline on my truck. Would one with the cover offer a better grip or at least help to hold the fuse in its place? Glad you got it sorted, was the first alternator actually bad (tested?) Or just replaced?

Weird Electric issues
I've been pondering this one since you posted and I'm at a loss myself. Wish I could be of some help but you've done what I would have done so far. Try cussing at it maybe?

First road trip in my 2nd Gen
Just got back from the dealer with my dad. They'll have his truck overnight. 3.6L v-6 with 53k on it needs all new rockers. The bearings in the rollers are the problem. Anyway, I checked with service on the high idle tsb. They'll charge me 1/2 hour to do it so about $60

37x12.5x16.5 military tires on 2nd gen. Plus 03-12 upgrade steering
Might sound stupid for a sec but the H1 wheels bolt on to dodge axles? Or were those modified already?

First road trip in my 2nd Gen
I don't have an exhaust brake to help with warm up. Someday maybe but right now she's pretty much stock. I may end up at a dealer today with my dad to pick up his truck from some warranty work. I might inquire on the price for the programming while there.
