  1. Thanks, I tried some gunk engine cleaner I had on the shelf. It didn't do much of anything. That stuff never really has worked well for me. Not even sure where that can came from.
  2. Anyone have a favorite degreaser to cut through the oil. My engine isn't bad but I would like to degrease it to detect leaks. I have one oil leak now around the oil cooler where the oil filter spins on. Had a couple loose bolts. Not to mention the oil on the radiator. I haven't done the crank case vent mod yet.
  3. I do the same. I still grin every time I look at the truck. I was envious of other people when I saw them on the road now I have one. I've been extremely happy with it his far. I even glance out the window to look at it in the driveway sometimes. Stupid but I love that truck.
  4. To add to @Mopar1973Man's post, if the OP were to switch over to all LED lighting it would free up amps to help run the winch. That way the load of the big alternator isn't a constant mechanical load on the engine. If one used the winch frequently yes then a bigger alternator would be the ticket but for a few times a year it may be a wiser choice to reduce load in other places to free up some amperage to operate the winch plus enjoy the brighter output of the LED lighting and the safety factor it also adds as well.
  5. That's awesome!
  6. Is there a list of some sort that explains where all the trucks grounds are located? To have this as a tool to ensure all grounds are clean and bright with a coat of oil on them would be helpful.
  7. Everyone I've had contact with or a conversation with I should say, have been decent. We may not see things the exact same way but we can discuss them rationally and not argue about it. I would be a very scary day for government if the people would actually come together on a united front. Even with different vies we could still get things done and eliminate the shady agendas behind the people in power.
  8. Yeah, I mixed a little diesel with it to get it to spray a little better. Turned out pretty good. Kinda of keeping an eye on it now to see how long it lasts. So far so good. Been through rain a couple times with it and the water just beads up.
  9. Ok, now it's getting rediculous. The democrats are moving to impeach president trump when he will be out of the office in 9 days anyway. Why do they continue to waste time and our tax dollars on something that will be over in 9 days anyway. I'm not a biden fan and I guess it doesn't matter what party you back. To me this seems like a huge waste if time and money. Our money, not theirs. This government is really letting me down as a citizen, voter and tax payer. I've had enough of the stupidness going on in washington. I can just imagine how we look on tv to the rest of the world. I am embarrassed by our government at this point. I love my country but the leadership has gone arie. I fear for our future and my grandchild's futures. It's scary. I can't express how irritated I am without severe censorship so I'll leave it at this for now. GRRRRRRR P.S. sorry, didn't mean to hijack. Probably should have started another thread.
  10. I even use extra butter so I slides down, less chewing. Who wants to do all that work? Lmao
  11. To late High gas/fuel prices I'm sure are just over the horizon. Also, I don't know how much truth there is to it but I've heard rumors if farmers and others in the Midwest selling their land to china! I hope that was a BS story.
  12. This may be a shot in the dark but, try checking the frame in Front near all attaching/mounting points such as suspension, steering and so on. A friend of mine had frame flex in front causing it to handle funny. He installed some sort of brace in the front and it fixed it. Not sure what or where it was though.
  13. Yeah, ouch! I take it those are before and after? If so it looks like the repairs were done well. Looks good.
  14. Absolutely! I would buy 2 or 3 and keep at least one in storage with no miles. I would have a brand new one today then!
  15. I got lucky Thursday, my dad wanted a new serpentine belt and needed an idler pulley replaced. Ordered them from advance, did the same day shipping. He had them at his door and hour later. I was in shock!
  16. Would you have some more detailed pics of your set up mike? I think I know what you did by the description but I like pics. Lol
  17. Good video. Really shows the issue on the scope he is using, much better than a digital meter.
  18. Absolutely, she had done the coils probably around the time I did the ground mod on my Cummins. Until I did the mod and testing myself I didn't really understand how it worked and how it affected things. I know now and can apply that to other vehicles as well.
  19. A little update on my daughter's suv and a lesson for the future as well. Transmission shop got it fixed, they dropped the pan did a drain/fill and filter. Fixed the leaky fitting going into the radiator. The major problem with it was.....drum roll.......a/c noise! A little while back my daughter replaced her ignition coils, the 4.6 has one per cylinder so she did all 8. She bought some from Amazon in an attempt to save some money and now it bit her. The shop replaced them with OEM (guessing motorcraft) and all is fine now. Trans shifts good, no more leak and she is a happy camper again. So, lesson learned. These newer vehicles cannot take any a/c noise or wild electrical interference, it plays hell on things. Wonder if there is a ground mod for her suv
  20. @Mopar1973Man, I am very suspect if this time. If you send me a quad with this tune loaded I will try it and report back. Seriously, sounds like your on to something, good job! If I ever decide to pull the trigger on a quad I will definitely ask for your advise on which tune would be best to start with for my setup at the time. All that tech stuff just seems to be over my head.
  21. Check all the leaf spring mounts, U bolts I'd even check the frame just to make sure nothing is moving. If there is movement somewhere usually there are some kind of witness marks. Maybe have a helper and hold the brake while to apply throttle. Have the helper watch the rear end to see if there is any abnormal movement.
  22. That's exactly what it is. Thanks IBMobile.
  23. So I'm confused, does it pull left all the time or only under acceleration? If acceleration, all the time or only pushing hard in the go pedal?
