I put new rebuilt calipers on last front brake work with new pads. Front Passenger side pads wore out a little more than drivers side The second set of front pads same thing is happening . These are auto zone rebuilt calipers lifetime guaranty so I can replace free... Im thinking I just got a bad caliper. Do you think the drivers side caliper is bad since its pads arent wearing as much?

So I've had my abs light on for over a year now. I replaced the front wheel sensors, the rear speed sensor and the wheel bearings. I gave up and took it to the dealer and they determined that the module was bad, so I sent it into sia electronics to have it repaired. Installed the rebuilt module in the truck and I still have the light. I'm too deep to give up now but what other variable could be causing this?

It seems as though my fan switch has become a happy face Sad face type of fan switch. It works on high only. I suspect the switch may have failed. I do have AC I do not have heated mirrors. I believe the unit is P/N 55056702AD If anyone has any other thoughts on why that would be awesome.

I am going to be ordeing new headlights soon and would aslo like to change the rest of my exterior lighting to LED's (excpet fogs). I just started researching the LED's and have a few questions I hope someone can answer. It appears you need to add a load resistor for the lights that blink. I aslo noticed that flasher relays are now made specifically for LED's. My question is is either one of the options viable for the blinkers, do you need both or just one or the other. Do the lights that are constant on need to have a load resistor added as well. Would the LED flasher relay work for towing? Thanks d

Had a couple frosty mornings out here the past 2 days and noticed the wipers started real slow. Today I leave in a drizzle and no wipers at all. So I figure the wiper motor is shot. Have open it up and make sure the linkage is not bound up and if not it is new wiper motor time. Anything else I should look at that anyone knows?

Hi, Correct one problem, along comes the next. Guess that's why these trucks are called a Labor of Love. I tried to use the Cruise Control. All it does is illuminate the ABS and Brake warning lights. I know I'm not the first. Leaky

So a while back I discovered my heater core was leaking and probably plugged since the heat output last winter was not the best. I ordered and received the new heater core and evap core from rock Auto, figured I'd replace both since I would have the box out already. I plan on replacing both, cleaning everything up and checking all the foam gaskets and whatnot while in there as well. Thought about the "heater treater" part but I was not having the issue that it repairs. Wanted to replace the dash cover as well but it's not in the budget at the moment so it will have to wait. Is there anything else I will need to consider while I have it all apart?…

Low beams are not functioning properly. High beams work fine if I pull on the stalk, but they do not click into high and stay there. If I want the high-beam lights to work I have to hold the stalk. I only get hi-beams and if I let go I get nothing. The backstory: I was driving home from work this weekend and using my headlights on the Pacific Coast Highway. It was foggy in spots and the low beams were working fine, I think. At least they worked fine the night before... At one point I sped up for a pass and flashed my high-beams to indicate I was coming through. (It's a narrow road in most places.) As it was getting dark, I realized the low beams were not working. Any…

Short Summary: Bought the truck a month ago for a good deal (2001 24v w/ NV5600, shortbed.) My 1st diesel. Problems started with. AIRBAG light, reverse lights always on, cruise light on, leak from xfer case and also one on the motor. At this moment I am left with a leak on transfer case and cruise light as of yet. New servo, brake light switch, ran the middle wire to clutch pedal, clockspring and checked cruise buttons for function. Also found no substantial power from pin 6 that crosses through the brake switch to the servo. No go, called dealer after noticing too many flags of a hack job conversion. SO pump, hacked wiring harness and …

When working on removing the blend door motor make sure the temp control is in the centered position or it will loose its indexing. This is a site I found a while ago with a cure for broke blend door. It has good info also. They say that you can open up the motor and recalibrate/reindex it if it has rotated out of spec they will include info on how to do it in the directions of the parts to fix the door. http://www.heatertreater.net/Dodge%20Ram%2095-02.htm

Yes, they will. I picked up this set of 2021 wheels the other day with new 245/70R17 Firestones. The guy gave me the lug nuts but Dodge changed the threads at some point so I am using my old spiked nuts for now. I didn't realize how tall these lug nuts were until I put them on these wheels. This was a test to see if how well a smaller tire will work like Mike has. So far my cruising EGT's are down about 150-200 degrees. I'll have to do some more driving later to verify. I was able to pull flat out run on level 4 up to 85mph and not exceed 1200* and that's with a tune I'm messing with so all bets are off, lol. I'll roll with these for a little bit while playing wit…

Ok gang... I've got a good one. My interior light in the center of the cab is out and so is my power mirrors. Now everyone is going to jump and say to check fuses. Been there and done that the IOD fuse for that circuit is fine because the glovebox light and the overhead console (map lights) and cargo bed lights work. When I pulled C203 all the light went out. So power is good to that point. Now I'm trying to find S310 but the FSM lists S310 as N/S (not seen). What is weird the Cargo light in the top of the cab work. So the only thing I can figure is the S310 splice has broke loose and dropped the dome light and the power mirror on me. Is it possible there is this G304 in…

My back tires are bald in the centers which tells me overinflation which I do run 60-70psi in all the time, loaded or not. I know Mike has that calculator but I am not convinced it works seeing as how no load would mean no pressure. The front tires are bald on the insides, which tells me the springs are shot, which I'm sure they are lol. Airbags for the front was only $80 so I will get the front jacked up to fix that issue. However, how do you know where level is? If I jack the front up, how do I know when the tires are perfectly flat on the ground, not leaning to one side or the other? This should factor in tire pressure probably since more pressure will make the cen…

Between Mikes article and a YouTube video by ericthecarguy or whatever his channel is I got it all done. Thanks for putting the tables for pressures up and the how to info. If anybody needs a good pump with a bad clutch, let me know.. I don't have a use for it and will probably trash it soon.

Hey guys I’m having a pretty scary issue with the truck recently that got pretty bad yesterday after a long trip. This issue or one similar seems to have occurred to the previous owner only 13k miles ago. This is the invoice for his repairs at 198k (212k now) Invoice I also have a synergy steering box brace. Whenever I’m not on the gas or the truck is decelerating the steering will get very heavy, if I’m on the highway I can tell there is no power assist when I’m on the gas. If I’m pulling into a driveway or pulling up to turn at a stop sign or something, the steering will usually lock up completely. Taking my foot off the brake and turning the wh…

I bought a stock set of lights for the truck from 1a auto and they fit good except where they meet the grille. Is they’re an adjustment or are these just crappy fitting lights? One photo is the old light and the other is the new housing.
