Scrolling through craigslist and came across this gem. I can feel the ocd part of my brain scratching the back of my eyeballs. I'd like to buy it just so I can relocate that axle. https://boise.craigslist.org/cto/d/1995-dodge-ramx4-quad-cab/6499453663.html

Well, my first day after selling one of the family businesses is dealing with a floor board leak on the passenger side. We just had a rain here in Oregon. (Imagine that!) and the carpet is drenched. It is not antifreeze, haven't been using the a/c either. I pulled the carpet up and don't see any visible places that the water is coming from. My best guess is that the tire rotation is slinging the water into wherever it is leaking from. I pulled the kick panel and don't see anything there either. Any one have any suggestions?

I've been thinking about cleaning up and painting under the hood. I've googled some pics of Cummins engines painted up and looking sharp. Just wondering if anyone on here has done it. So, if you've detailed and cleaned up your Cummins or painted it up to make her pretty post a pic. I'd like to see them just for some ideas.

My trucks wipers dont work, when you turn the switch it just blows the fuse. I was going to verify its the wiper motor but the wipers are stuck down, and you have to have the passenger arm up to clear the hood so that you can release tension on the arm. Any tips on gettings these arms off without being able to lift them up and any thoughts on what could be wrong here? Thanks

I am installing new rotors on my truck, hopefully tomorrow. I have issues with rust and really fought getting my hub/rotors free from the truck. If I use anti seize on the 4 hub/bearing bolts, axle nut, and extension lug bolts, would that cause any issues or would I risk those bolts/nuts loosening over time? The FSM mentions using anti seize on the splines of the splines of the front drive shaft, but nothing else. Thanks for the help.

I'm looking at a set of 4 Cooper Discoverer H/T 235/85/R16's Load Range E for my truck. Have found a set on line for $605.00 with a 60k warranty. Was wondering if anyone has any comments on Cooper Tires, good or bad. I'm presently running a set of Yoko Geolanders G053 and it looks like I'm not going to but about 32k miles on them.

Bought a 2002 2500 and has a quadzilla adrenaline. Just want to know if anyone would still have the install manual so I can use it to uninstall it correctly. Thanks. Let me know if you need more info on the unit as I'm not to familiar with quadzilla products.

Brand new here hoping to get some advice. I noticed my drivers side front fender liner was getting oily the other morning and traced it back to the brake booster. I would like to replace both the hydro unit and master cylinder at the same time is this advantageous or should I not really worry about the master as it has no signs of leaking. Truck has 380k on it as it sits. Also any tips on changing one or both items would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance!

Guys, having a tough time wrapping my thick head around the heating and A/C systems on the Ram 2500. Have worked on cars for most of my life and never seen something like this.First off had a diverter door go out. Took it into a good A/C shop here in town and they fixed it, pulling the entire dash out and replacing the door assy. Drove off thinking that finally after owning the truck for 18 months that the little knob called the "temp control" might now work! Well dammit, it does not!Put the A/C in max A/C and no change but believe that this is normal. Move the mode controller to the second position, normal A/C and once again the temp control knob might as well not even b…

Drivers side door sounds like creaky old wooden porch. I've changed a couple over the years on different cars. 2nd gens have big door. I see "doorman" brand has them. Not overly impressed with "doorman" quality, but don't know of better quality brand. Anything I should be aware of?

I posted my concern regarding my FP gauge on the CF a week or two ago... thinking maybe my lift pump was the issue. KATOOM indicated that gauge may not be working correctly and suggested I contact ISSPRO. I posted in their sponsor's forum but no response. I just read another post regarding the FP gauge when the truck is turned off... whether it should or shouldn't drop to zero.. and the consensus is yes it should. I just checked mine and it does not drop when I shut down. Here's a video of a first start this morning. Shows the pressure at 16 from last night.. what happens when I turn the key (which was my intitial concern a couple weeks ago.. no build in p…

I used to like ACDelco but I am starting to think otherwise. I am in the auto gate buss and use a lot of marine batt. and I am starting to have a lot of warr. calls. Also my fan clutch (Acdelco) is about 10 months old and she just went south. Bought a new clutch today and it is made by Hayden, anybody ever heard of them? And cost was 120.00 plus tax

Looking to help with the heavy loads but I find online with most kits They say I need 8" between the frame and the inner dual tire. Does anyone have a kit that perhaps mounts different that'll bolt up or tell me I don't need that much space, currently only have 6" On the truck.

Found this. Is there any tricks other than the video? Do any of the clips or red clips thingys get ruined or need replacing after one removal or if you remove the bessel several different times will any of the clips or red holders get ruined and need to buy more or anything like that?? Notice in the vid the red clip holder to the right of the heater/AC knobs , it looks different. Is that one broken off? Once I get the Bessel off,,,, My speedo area has a lot of dust in there behind the clear plastic. Can the clear plastic be removed (screws) to clean all the dust out behind it and wash the clear plastic piece? …

Hope this is helpful for y'all. For anyone that has an 00-02 Cummins with dual piston calipers up front and is in the market for front brakes, the 3rd gen brake upgrade is highly recommended. Everything is a direct bolt on. All you need is 03-07 caliper brackets, pads and rotors.. And if you have rear disc, you can do 3rd gen brakes in the rear too. The picture of the pad comparison isn’t my picture(forgot to take one), but shows you how much more surface area there is. And then the 3rd gen rotors are about an 1”+ bigger in diameter. This also requires 17”+ wheels. I went with the Stage 3 EBC Rotor and Pad kit which has drilled and slotted rotors and their Type 7000 Green…

So I am attempting to put together a good low buck lift I am not trying to clear anything more than a set of 35's at most but mainly I want to improve ride quality and retain stock geometry. Now I have a set of Thuren 4 inch coils laying around from a donor truck and was using that as a point to jump off the ledge on improving the suspension so unless I missed something to make these work right I will need for just the front suspension new control arms drop pit-man arm new adjustable or modified stock 3rd gen track bar(completely lost here I know what it does but don't know what is best for our trucks) longer sway-bar end links or something to correct that shocks…

I saw a kit from pirate 4x4 that advertised universal hydroboost rebuild. I tried it and be dam if 50 dollar kit didn't fix me right up. No more leaks lol thought I'd mention this one

Hey guys, some 20-30 degree weather starting where I live in. I plugged my truck up last night I got to thinking about a couple of questions. Can you leave your truck plugged in too long. I plugged it up a 6 p.m. last night and got in it at 7 am this morning. I going to get one of those timers that can come on a few hours before I'm ready to jump in my truck in the mornings but also when I come to work I like to plug it in because it sits all day til 6 or 7 at night and I also push snow which I probably will be doing tonight so an overview would be plugged it up a 6 pm last night. Got in it at 7 this morning. Drove it for 15 mins to the shop plugged it up at 730 this …

i got my ac working again the other day but the controls are stuck in the defrost mode. I know the controls need vacuum to operate and all my other accessories work, 4wd and the exhaust brake. I have vacuum where the line goes thru the firewall at the evaporator. A good while back when I replaced the evaporator I noticed the hard line going thru the fire wall had cracked and I replaced a section with vacuum hose and have vacuum to that point. I figure while installing the new drier or high pressure line I most likely fractured the hard line going thru the fire wall. Does this hard line go straight to the multi point connector for the controls? I could not quite contort m…
