2nd Generation Dodge Non-Powertrain

My rear brakes are real touchy and been that way for a while. The Hydro boost started leaking so replaced and everything was good for 2 days and now back to locking up right rear. I ordered a divider valve today just because it was cheap enough to throw at it. No codes or anything so what do you think?

I may be purchasing a 12 valve in the near future that is 100% bone stock with only 60K miles on it. Is there such thing as an all-in-one LCD display that can display: fuel pressure, boost pressure, oil pressure, radiator temp, tranny temp, intake air temp, EGT’s, etc? I have a quad on my 24v and it’s really nice having one screen with all my info right there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  4. HI I took the dog out last night and noticed that my brake lights were on. I played around with the petal and they went off, for awhile. Then they came back on. Then I unplugged the switch at the brake pedal, they went off, for awhile. Then they came back on. Then I unplugged the fuse for the tail lights, they went off, for awhile. I took the dog out this morning, and they were back on. I'm not too good at electrical so any advise is most welcome. I'm in a remote area, and I have some tools, so the best thing would be for me to figure it out where I sit.

2001 with CAD and vacuum actuator, has anyone replaced this with a factory or store part and what would you recommend? No, I don't want to the cable, just replace what's broken. Rock Auto has a standard motors unit,a dana unit where the part numbers don't match anything online...

Back to this topic again. I put plow prep coils/extra capacity coils on my truck a while back, thinking I was going to put a ranch hand bumper on and $1200 for a bumper just isn't in the budget anytime soon. Plow prep coils are just too stiff and too tall, I'm either putting my stock coils back on or putting some new coils from NAPA or Rock Auto on. Has anyone replaced their coils with new stock height coils? I'm trying to achieve a smoother ride. Truck is mostly a weekend warrior and not loaded heavy. NAPA has some for single cabs and extended cabs and I'm thinking of getting the single cabs for the reduced spring rate. I'm also running Ranch monotubes shock…

Hello all. New to the site and thankful for finding a bunch of likeminded people. This is my 5th Cummins it’s a 2002 6spd 2500 longbox 4wd. About to turn over 500,000 kms (Canada). Love it and it does everything I need it to but recently I’ve been noticing what feels like an awful lot of axle wrap while towing. I got to tearing into it yesterday and found a couple loose u bolts but worse is that the factory lift blocks under the leaf packs seem to be walking off the axle perch. It it must have been happening for a bit because both the block and the perch are misformed now. My question is do I buy a new lift block and hope for the bes…

  11. OK guys need a little help here. Was looking at the body tongiht and getting it lined up when we thought about not having all the all weight on the frame will shift the suspension a bit relative to the frame due to the linkage pivot points. This would explain why some things didn't line up as expected. So I am looking for the following measurements from someone with either a 2500 or 3500 frame/suspension set up (6bt engine and manual tranny if possible!). Please note back where the measurement was taken from to the ground (center of bolt, top/bottom of bolt, joint between members, etc) something I can use as a solid reference. I plan on torching the springs to get it…

Recharged the ac last week got everything up and running fine. On the way home the air went from 40* to 80*. Made a pit stop got back in fired her up and she worked for about an hour or so then back to 80*. Upon further inspection I see that the clutch is turning very slowly and a little jerky like the clutch is fried. What can I check to see if thats the case or just maybe the pressure switch.

I have developed some wonder in my steering, so I was checking all the joints underneath, I have Luke’s links all the way around and they all seem to be tight and I noticed the track bar bushing has a lot of slop, I am sure I replaced that bushing ( it’s a rubber one) when I did the joints about 6 ago but maybe I should go with a poly one this time? Any one got any recommendations on them. I see a wide price range on them from about 17 dollars on amazon to about 50 dollars from the high end manufactures

Wife in wheel chair and doing a few measurements on our 2 wheel drive I think I can remove back seat and front seat on her side and might be able to get her in by using short alum loading ramp from ground to door bottom plate then I think I might have enough room. Maybe their was a reason for quad doors without a center post? Anybody seen or heard of this? Truck has been sitting 2 years...itching to drive it again. For now staying away from the mega dollar wheelchair lifts. Her condition is suppose to be "short" term but has dragged on longer than Dr's thought it would. Would be nice to just manually shove her in and spin wheel chair and pick up s…

Is there a way to shut the alarm off until I figure out why it continually is going off? I think I have a door lock issue and it goes off EVERY time I open the door. would be nice if it were just on a fuse, though I could see that being very pointless once a thief figures out where that fuse is

  18. I have a 2001 ram 2500 sport edition that's currently red. I've been considering having it repainted due to the clear coat peeling on the hood and roof. I like the look of the red color but I absolutely love the forest green color. I also intend on bed lining the bottom part to prevent rock chips and I'm trying to find some pictures of the 2 colors with a black bed liner and cannot find any. This is my truck color right now and i'm leaning more towards the green sport look. Does anybody have any pictures of what i'm looking for or have any thoughts? I don't want to be a cop magnet but I want to have a nice looking truck, I'm just not sure how the bed liner …

Preparing for 3rd gen brakes come nice weather. Looking for 17” 3rd gen wheels on craigslist now, debating steel vs aluminum. Either way, I’ll get them powder coated black. I like the look of the aluminum ones but steelies are cheap. Any downside to running the steels for now? No super heavy towing, mostly loading my 8’ bed with firewood and an occasional light trailer.
