  1. See what kind of family you got here? We are all crazy good ol' Boys that are helpful and caring... Oh... If you can get here I'll give you a free beer!
  2. I got to admit that a crazy setup but I guess it works for the job... Did the new monitor come with bungee cords too?
  3. Well Brother we both got to take it the shorts for the fuel prices don't we?!?! From my view point at my desk looking out the window it just turn nice and green on the valley walls. Here soon I'll get a shot at taking a ride on the ATV up Race Creek road towards the firewood hole and take a peek.As for towing I might end up towing twice in next week I might have to haul a load for Relentless70 and then do my haul down to Ontario, OR / Boise, ID...
  4. Post a link up please... Or post up a response... Or both... Please!
  5. You said what? I didn't hear ya...
  6. Like even my own rig I've got a old school AirDog 150 pump on my truck but I never got a warranty card so I'm screwed any ways. But I've got about 6-7 years now with my AirDog 150 I'm also still running the stock filter as well because of the fuel heater and my minus temp weather I get in Idaho. But even on you setup Raptors will fail out and drop pressure just from a air leak. So if you got a weak connection or loose fitting the air leak could create a problem just like what happen. As for fuel pressure your see way too much change from idle to WOT... Typically normal is 2-3 PSI fall period beyond that you got line restrictions, plugged filters, air leaks, or failing pump. Like my truck I idle at 19 PSI and WOT stompped I can go clean up to 85 MPH, 35 PSI of Boost and still be looking at 17 PSI...
  7. Grab a cheap one and move on... Rare for fan clutches to fail really.
  8. Its a rubber coating paint so basically you'll never get rock chips in the paint. I consider it a fad for the most part like over on RamForum.com a lot of guys are plasti-dipping there rims and other small parts on there vehicle.
  9. Wow! That's a shocker after all these years and now VulcanPerformance has dropped there web site... They will be sorely missed by many people. In the mean time I'll going to ask around and see what I find...
  10. :doh:Geez... I never gotten straight answer to the ECM problem... I've been following everyone around listening to tales but never gotten straight answer to who can rebuild or replace? I'm sure Dripley will be along today and see this he's got a paperweight ECM on his desk that can't be rebuilt but ended up buy a new one from the dealer. :banghead: I don't know what to say...
  11. Yes... I shimmed up the spring to give more pressure to the system. I know that both AirDog and FASS sell spring with increase pressures. But the shim idea was quick and fast for getting the pressure up. Make sure the ID of the washer will not interfere with flow and the OD will allow it hold the spring without being oversized.
  12. As for R&R services I've been told several times that the parts are not available for these ECM's to be rebuilt. So usually they will send it back to you still broken. But I always ask the question why is it that Mopar/Cummins still capable of selling new ones? The parts are there but someone isn't telling a full story...
  13. Neat calculator... But for what every reason the final temp numbers don't even come close for high boost number (30-35 PSI) for my truck it report like 170-180*F final temp. Not! I've rarely even seen 150*F (Maybe while using my exhaust brake)...:rolleyes:Mine follows the +40*F offset to outside temp rather closely and change very little while even at high boost. But I'll check again...
  14. I "assume" its similar design like the AirDog... The return line should have a spring loaded check ball.
  15. As far as I've been told that Cummins will not sell ECM's for our truck. As far as Mopar/Dodge Dealer they only sell blank ECM's. Then as from what Bob Wagner with Smarty says that regardless of ECM it can be reflashed with any software as long as it ECM for your generation. (98.5-02).Where to go?
  16. Here it is come and claim all you want! http://weatherspark.com/#!dashboard;loc=45.2363,-116.3274;rd=12;ropts=speed:12,loop:1,alpha:0.7;fcs=0;msl=pressureAltimeterMbar;mol=radar;units=temperature:f;graphs=spaitg:1,pressure:1,precipitationRate:0,siitg:1,stidpg:0,smeisg:1,solarPosition:1,humidity:0,saf:0,subZero2:0,windIcons:1,sdpitg:0,windDirection:0,precipitation:0,windSpeed:0,clouds:0,tiles:0,precipitationAmount:0,temperature:1,dewPoint:0
  17. I've got a buddy just down the road that Line-X his entire Toyota Pickup...
  18. Nope... We still got snow in the high country above the house (above 5,000 ft). I need to travel up to 7,000-7,500 ft for the wood cutting hole. Might start in June... For sure July...
  19. Oh... :doh:Your still stock? Wow you do need a box of some sort like a Edge or Quadzilla then a set of RV275 injectors (+40 HP) or maybe +50 HP injectors. If you adding a enhancement box I would go for a Stealth Plate to tap the wire. But your fuel pressure will have to be turned up more for added mods you dropping too low now to add anything to it because it will drop more as you demand more fuel. It time to consider how much your looking to get out of the truck and plan now BEFORE you buy anything. So if you say you going for 350-375 HP total then look at everything on the truck for weak point fix them first before adding the power. The prevents future failures.
  20. Sorry if he's looking for mileage he's going to have to get off the interstates and find the back roads and slow down. 70 MPH even in my truck I might get 14-15 MPG at 70-75 MPH even with all the current mods. Speed is a killer...
  21. Welcome to the family... Pull up a chair grab your favorite beverage and do some reading and posting to the other family members here. Sure to make friends in a quick hurry!
  22. By next week I'll have some tow time on the RV so I'll post up how ugly that is too...
  23. Ok... So what are you paying for diesel right now? Riggins, Idaho - $4.139 New Meadows, Idaho - $4.259 McCall, Idaho - $4.299 Payette, Idaho - $4.149 How far do you have to travel to get fuel? (Round Trip) Riggins, Idaho - 30 miles New Meadows, Idaho - 40 Miles McCall, Idaho - 70 Miles Payette, Idaho - 240 miles You said what?
  24. Cover the WIF lead with a plastic bag and zip tie. The Fuel heater can just hang...
