  1. Few have but the fact still remains its not adjustable and you cannot shut the system down if there is a problem... This why the $8 buck needle valve (WH6820) is usually taken over the autometer snubber.
  2. Wow! I would jump on those... I think I paid $375 a bearing for my truck a few years back for the front axle by the time it was done and over my total bill was $1,100... This included 2 return trips back for ABS sensor issues and a leaking front axle seal...
  3. Also why speed is the number 1 killer of MPG's...
  4. Try having the alternator bench tested and make sure to have them check the diodes for function. Just because voltage is present doesn't mean it not leaking AC current through 1 diode which could be enough to drive the ECM, PCM and VP44 nuts...
  5. I'm also in this catagory... But... I still look for a good quality name brane oil like Chevron Delo, Mobile One, Shell Rotella, etc. That meet the CI-4 or CJ-4 requirements.
  6. http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2716&d=1301370232 I love those so much... But I can see me backing over this and go SNAP!
  7. There is the 2 sensor in the front fenders... Check those wires. (Doubtful) But I going to bet the clockspring too. A lot of people tend to forget to tie off the steering column so it doesn't move while working out it. Just like 5-0 mention about tearing it by allowing it to spin to far.
  8. Well it seems to me you good for the air side but you might need to do some adjusting to the fuel plate.

Thank you for all the kind comments... Also welcome to the family... Looks like you need to get that AirDog install really quick with fuel pressure that low.
  10. Your just nutz...
  11. Well my trip with the TT turn out roughly 12 MPG...
  12. Wow! Nice projects... Welcome to the group... Hopefully you'll be able to share some your knowledge with the group!
  13. Try going over to the Dodge FSM and that shows the connectors... But I know there is nothing on the 97 for books as of yet...
  14. Hey Prowelder... I did some thinking on the design and the bugs and think I got it fixed... At least with this design there is no way to have high idle and MPG fooler running together... I knew there was a way to logically seperate the to system I just need a good night sleep and a strong cup of coffee...
  15. Here is the basic wiring of the 02 wiring under the hood... 01 should be really close... http://mopar.mopar1973man.com/cummins/2ndgen24v/wiring/wiring.htm Then here is the full 02 wiring diagrams. http://forum.mopar1973man.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=128 Then here is the full 97 wiring diagrams. http://forum.mopar1973man.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=129 From all this it should help ya...
  16. Yeah it would help to see the injection pump side a bit more but it does look kind of like a small Kubota...
  17. Yeah it was defective... Sorry... It should hold setting plugged in or unplugged forever...
  18. The SGII does have a few flaws... Like the MAP sensor value is suppose to be PSIa (atompheric) so at rest with the engine not running the reading should be 14.3 PSI (normal atompheric pressure) but it been know that all 98.5 to 2002 Dodhe mis-report this value and 2003 and up report correctly so this is not a SGII problem its a ECM programming issue. Now as for checking it against my 1996 Dodge Ram the MAP sensor display correctly. Now which value is reseting to ZERO? (Instant, Current MPG, Today MPG, Prev MPG, and/or Total MPG)
  19. Bill your thread over on TDR is locked out to non-members...
  20. I understand when you get into a large project like this and it takes longer than you planed and then not having the time or the money to finish it your timeline tends to make these comments come forward... But I got faith in you ISX keep going!
  21. Why don't you test the filter minder? http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2jd7XsYrKI
