  1. I don't go nuts abut Cummins OEM parts at all. Even NAPA sells the sensor and it just about the same price as Cummins. The other thing you need to look at is the error code its creating. P0234 is a turbo wastegate issue not a MAP sensor boost exceeded ECM limits. P0236 is a turbo wastegate issue where the boost is too high too long. P0237 is MAP sensor voltage too low. P0238 is MAP sensor voltage too high. Now the last too errors are MAP sensor issues. Also could be a wiring issue. Like @dripley had sensor ground issues on his MAP sensor.
  2. Weehaw... My first camping trip in 5 years! Very basic spot. Very large area to camp in mostly flat ground and plenty of space for other so camp in a group if possible. River is nice and soothing to listen to at night. Weather was cool at night but wonderful. Dry camping and no hook ups. Fire pans required here. Black Hawk Rapids is a quiet place very little traffic noise even. The Salmon River sound fills the RV at night. Very soothing sound to listen too. Bit of afternoon wind. It not exactly a pay site either but an old gravel pit where road mix was produced back when the highway was being upgraded.
  3. You've heard of the current bush right? In Idaho current bushes don't survive the the long cold winters and quit producing power. Rare to find electric rocks. This one is fair sized and can cover at least 20 Amp load at 120 VAC. Winter snows don't bother the electric production.... ...Till I turn off the breaker in the shop.
  4. Got to be better that the Ford 6.0L I drove last night. I could of past it easy with Eileen's Hyundai...
  5. Mom passed away back in Feb. 22, 2020. Rest in peace Mom... Now I've got the pack up all of Mom's stuff and get rid of it. Not like I can wear her cloths or use her personal stuff. Makes the confinement her bad for me. Like Breck and Jacob came out (Eileen's Son and Wife) and Eileen is giving Mom's clothes away. Makes it hard on me when another person is wearing Mom's clothes and comes popping back out to model them. Hence, why I'm getting out of the house for short time to get my head screwed back on right. There is so much I want to do to get rid of the constant reminders but can't... I need to sell furniture and other large stuff. I don't want to bring COVID-19 in the house with a bunch of people wanting to look at furniture. Project on HOLD. There is a lot I want to do but for safety sake I'm not. Basically, if I got the COVID-19 it would ruin me. I'm still paying my cancer treatments yet still got $17,000 left to go. If I wound up in the hospital I would lose my home for sure. Hence why I'm not working right now. Risk is too great for me. COVID-19 is real I won't doubt that... The medical system is wiped out right now. Like Eileen doctor doesn't want here to come down to Boise for any treatment for her pancreas. Even just refilling meds scripts she is going to do it over a video chat on the phone. Again the doctor doesn't want Eileen down there. There is a few jobs around here to do, but it won't be long I'd be out of a job. Not to mention having to drive a long distance for parts and lag time to handle protecting yourself, get in the store, get the stuff, sanitize your hands, drive home, sanitize the vehicle your working on (steering wheel, door handles, etc.) do the work, sanitize yourself again. Big pain in the tail right now. We are limited on hand sanitizer and sanitizer wipes. So... I dump the stress of all this just go camping and wait it out. Then fire back up and be ready and recharged for coming back to function. Blood flow issues to her legs (need to amputate both legs above the knees) Dementia (Moderate, very forgetful) Skin Cancer on her body in 3 places Gangrene left big toe (from the blood flow issues in her legs) Stage 4 kidney failure and renal failure Sleeping 20 plus hours a day (part of the dementia) She would never survived the 30 hour surgery to amputate her legs, she would of never survived the rehab, she would of never remembered to take meds and do rehab therapy. The doctors all agreed was to let her go. Take her off dialysis and let her pass. That was the other thing I wanted to do but the COVID-19 screwed me again. Was I wanted to have a memorial for Mom this late spring. I was going to invite any of the forum members to come. Again another thing on HOLD...
  6. Like I know so far because Eileen has friends in the hospital down in Boise and few other cities. There still no cases of COVID-19 hospitalized yet. What I think is going on is anyone with fever and a cough is being sent home to self isolate. Actual amount of COVID-19 cases on ventilators here is near zero for what I know. I just went to Clarkston, WA. There is TP and all the shelves are filled. The only thing we did not find is sanitizing wipes and rubbing alcohol. No problem for food and TP for sure. Price of fuel is much lower than Riggins, ID just what we saved in food cost and cannabis cost we paid for fuel in her Hyundai which we only needed $26 dollars and came home nearly full of fuel. Unleaded $2.359... My previous trip with the truck I went o Eileen's storage and managed to get most of the boxes out of there and just left with big furniture pieces. Tables chairs, couch, china hutch, etc. Hoping to cut another 50 a month off the monthly bills. Now I'm going to fix my truck today and install a new window motor on the passenger side. Then hitch up the RV and we are going camping down by Slate Creek USFS. This will give me a small break from the house (reminders of Mom) and work.
  7. Second image on the right hand side. The colors are textual as well.
  8. Things are return to normal up here. The local store is completely stocked again even TP, beans, rices, bread, etc. No empty shelves. As for Boise I went that direction to pick up @Wet Vette medications down in Nampa. Walmart we stopped in was completely stocked too. TP was there and bean, rices, bread as well. Even in Ontario, OR the cannabis shops are doing drive thru service and still providing products. I will note the price in Ontario, OR is much higher now. Asking $45 for 1 gram vape cartridge. Last trip to Clarkston was $25 for a 1 gram vape cartridge. Basically in Clarkston, Washington its $50 for a 0.5 ounce (7 grams) of cannabis. NAPA store in McCall Idaho is still operational. I've got a speed sensor for the 1996 Dodge sitting there. Then I've got a new power window motor for the passenger side of my Cummins which is now stuck in the down position. Some of you know I just lost MoparMom about a month ago. My huge issue right now I've been trying to escape the house for a short break for a month now but every time I try to get free something happens to hold me up. Eileen's son stopped in for a few day which now turned into 6 days of him being sick in the house (stomach issues). Now he's gone the windows motor fails in the full down position. Arrrggghhhh! Like yesterday it hit me rather hard being I'm living in a house with so many reminders of Mom. Bad part is I can't sell nothing (couch, furniture, etc.) that means bring the Corona Virus into my home. So, its has to wait, but dang it is hard on me mentally with all the reminders. Like the rest of you I'm trying to live off what savings I've got and limited resources. Make things worse is Eileen has been working towards disability and she was denied just before the shut down and now we have to ride it out till after the Corona Virus is over. I'm covering both her bills and my own for the moment. Then Eileen's still has her pancreas problem that is placed on hold. What we figured out is to keep her blood sugar on the level is smoke cannabis before eating which give her the munchies. This takes care of the nausea she deals with through out the day. Allows her to eat a meal and get her insulin dose which now keeps her blood sugar in the 110 to 130 realm pretty good. For me the cannabis takes the stress off of me and the lost of Mom. (Sadness and depression at times). Soon as I can get my Cummins running I'm heading out camping and take a break. Something I can say we have been asking around of how many active case hospital have since Eileen has friends working in the hospitals around the US. Like I know there is no active case in Boise hospitals as far as we know. Even though there is listing of at least 30 to 50 cases in Idaho. Which now gets me thinking how many are just people with the standard flu and coughing and sneezing? Then can't be tested right away so they are sent home to self-isolate. Is it actually a Corona Case or what? Don't know.
  9. Cold air actually hurts the MPG number. Optimal IAT temperature is 100 to 140*F. Below 80*F there is a sudden change in timing that typically adds about another 4* of timing and decreases MPG's. I'm also been running BHAF and roughly 500 HP and even at 80 MPH @ 2,500 RPM I still roll at 600-700*F EGT's roughly. No real gain for cold air intakes. No such system exist. It will inject as much fuel as you command. Hence I'm running 7 x 0.010 injectors (+150 HP) and a Quadzilla tuner that allows me to hold the fuel pin open an extra 2,200us worth of pulse. All commanded fuel will be injected to the cylinder even if its excessive (hence the creation of black smoke). There is nothing in the system to limit fuel unless your running a Quadzilla tuner. Now you can limit below stock rate and control limit in regards to EGT's, Coolant, etc. Again stock has no such systems. Washable filters are bad for the engine. BHAF is not a washable filter and the most common single use filter around. I do not recommend a washable filter or cold air intakes. Again below 80*F there is a sudden shift in timing and not for the good. Below 80*F of IAT you should be retarding not advancing. Hence where the MPG fooler design came from and why I'm still selling the high idle kits with IAT fooler.
  10. Now is the time to come... There is no noise for hours. There little to no traffic on the highway.
  11. Rear centering pins snapped off? Rear lift blocks damaged the location holes?
  12. ECM booting issues, errors in software. ECM is starting to fail. Seems like the W-T mod was done too late.
  13. Come to Idaho... RV dump in front of the guest house. 120 VAC @ 20 amp service under the tree. Water provided. Well water and the best tasting of the area. 2.7 Acres of ground to play on. @JAG1 already test drove the spot and he loves it. Matter of fact I just found a smart phone app "The Dyrt: All Campgrounds, RV, Campsites, Glamping". So far so good and it shows most of all the one I know here locally. https://thedyrt.com/
  14. Over sized tires and wheels? (Common source of steering issues) Bad track bar? Loose steering gear box? (Sector adjustment) Bad tie rod ends? Control arm bushings? Caster angle off? (Caused by lift kits, leveling kits, and oversized tires?)
  15. My case the tone wheel broke loose from the bearing and free spinning. So below 30 MPH it shows ZERO speed in one hub above 30 MPH it showed correct speed. No amount of ohm testing and wiring test will fix this. You just have to replace both bearings with sensors to be right. I rebuilt the module at Module masters, ohm every wire, replace the front sensors 3 times for lots of money. The replaced the rear speed sensor. Still didn't fix... Replace both front unit bearings with sensors problem gone.
  16. Like myself with all my medical debt right now the last thing I need is to catch the Corona Virus that would ruin me, the website, and my home.
  17. Like the last time mine was pulled out it was full of pine needles and dirt. Mostly the dirt road travel and hauling firewood off the mountains.
  18. Depends. ‎Certain pains like ‎fibromyalgia don't go away complete and can be annoying. Eileen has had problems with back pain (disc issues), arthritis and other joint issues too.The cannabis make a improvement but doesn't wipe it all out. Like for me and my bladder cancer cannabis worked really good for the bladder spasm and pain. Just depends on type and quality of pain. Like Eileen pancreas problem can dealt with Dilaudid (hydromorphone) and works good, but not even Morphine doesn't work on her pancreas pain.
  19. We both use REAL cannabis now. I just had a vape cartridge that was 82% THC and at least 2% CBD. THC works way better than CBD even for my back pain and sore hips. Now flower is typically like 20% THC and fraction of a percent CBD. I like it for sleep aid and pain relief.
  20. Doesn't matter much, just as long as the engine is cool.
  21. It was cause from not flushing the cooling system every 50k to 75k miles. The coolant becomes corrosive and starts breaking down the metals in the cooling system and then produces the scale blooms around the core tubes in the radiator. Heater core is most likely weeping enough to dampen the face while parked and as it warms up steam is released in the cab. Make sure to pull the entire HVAC case and clean it out it does get rather ugly inside the case.
  22. Yuk. Someone should look at screening the intake and checking the floor where pipes and stuff come up from below.
  23. Give them a call on Monday and see.
