  1. No retro fitting of LED's in halogen housings...
  2. If you just jump over the fence to Linux from Windows this whole problem goes away... http://whylinuxisbetter.net/en/viruses/
  3. Yes LED fogs... Get the street legal like PIAA... Any of the RF series light that PIAA sell are legal for street use and lo beams. http://www.piaa.com/store/c/4110-LP-Series-LED-Lamps.aspx?Attribs=52
  4. Got to be a fail alarm... The entire server here is protected by ClamAV software. All files are scanned and checked on both Mopar1973Man.com and PrevailWebManagement.Com https://www.clamav.net/
  5. Yeah... The passenger side battery terminal. All the ECM, PCM and VP44 get there ground from the passenger side battery NEGATIVE cable its self.
  6. Should be the same on the diesel as well.
  7. Time to upgrade to full 1/2" plumbing that problem will go away...
  8. Awful wide span of fuel pressures. 2-3 PSI is normal from Idle to WOT. 12 PSI drop is way too wide.
  9. There are only rare cases where I've used starting fluid on a Cummins but I ALWAYS disconnect the grid heaters before using any ether or starting fluid also use a VERY small amount while cranking. Works best with two people present. I'd never use a gasoline soaked rag.
  10. If I'm not mistaken you want to talk to Peter at South Bend...
  11. Installing clutch you have to pay attention to detail closely especially stubbing the transmission back in and making sure it completely Sears on its own without pulling it in with bolts. I'm sorry I'm extremely picky about clutch installs. But that's me...
  12. Looks good but I don't see any plumbing... Do you even have a water supply tank?
  13. I will have to agree... Remember bench test AC noise is done with FULL LOAD against the alternator so if they report 1 volt or so ripple it should be passing.
  14. My Dash Command does the same thing too. Just more accurate than Quadzilla right now and logs MPG a bit more as well.
  15. Just remember the if you do install a Hotrod VP44 you shouldn't use any tuning modules like Quadzilla, Edge or Smarty. Hotrod pumps have internal timing cranked up so it will cause timing problems.
  16. No. won't matter the VP44 is stand alone at that point.
  17. Do it after... Then you know how much to add. Excessive oil will bring down performance and make the exhaust smoke rather grey in color. Won't harm the engine but its no longer optimal for the MPG and performance value. Stock injectors after 80k miles of only 128:1 ratio 2 cycle oil.
  18. No... You won't see ground through it the condition is right. Being that the relay or cable will be unplugged there is no power to the ECM so the transistor will not switch for ground. Also ECM ground is the passenger battery cable. Trivia... Q: Where is the headlight grounds at? A: In the driver side kick panel. So just because you tear apart all the grounds under the hood doesn't mean you'll fix anything. You have to have an understanding of what the grounds do and where they are located.
  19. So how you test for that is to unplug the VP44 and the ECM and theohm that brown/white wire to ground and see if there is any ohm reading. If infinite then its not shorted to ground. Might check for ohm from end to end to verify the wire in not broken it should read 0 ohms.
  20. I'm not the author of the video... I'm sure they are using ATF, WEO, WVO, or some sort of store product. I've done the research on all this for over 5-7 years and still to this day very few have cleared 243k miles on VP44.
  21. ECM required voltage above 8.0 DC volts to keep running. The dash gauge is not accurate at all. After it drop below 12.00 volts on my truck it instantly drops to 8 on the gauges, rings off the check gage light and there it sits. Make sure to drive it around awhile and then pull the alternator field lead that way you don't have the grid heater fouling you. Or... Warm it up then disconnect the grid heater lead at the battery and the alternator too. Then you'll get a better test run.
  22. Remember that strap is not actually a circuit ground strap but noise ground. There is no connection from the case to the circuits inside. Make sure to cycle the connection 3-4 times to clean the connector up with the grease.
  23. Hell with what it looks like... I'm happy with performance. Like myself I've got 2 hour to drive yet tonight to get home.
  24. Still a failing alternator... 0.11 to 0.14 is still too high...
  25. I reply to this in more depth. Ash is a bad thing motor oil and ATF both have high amounts of ash. Lubricity is better. As for cetane 2 cycle oil is a natural cetane reducer which in turn is a BTU booster hence most see a small gain to MPG.
