  1. No. As long as it's in warm up mode no issue smooth running. As soon as it flips over to red bar and Quadzilla it start to miss at that low throttle.
  2. Random. All you've done was moved it to 1,000 RPM starting point. Below 1,000 runs smooth and normal. Still in all turn it level zero or just unplug the Quadzilla problem gone.
  3. Because it's much thicker gear lube compared to ATF that comes factory filled in the G56. People commonly think that 50wt is going to be thinner like I did and found out it's thicker. This is why older Getrag transmission was loaded from the factory with would you believe 5w-30 engine oil. This isn't even a GL rated oil just plain ol' engine oil 5w-30. Strange after doing research on all the different types of lubes used in all the different series of transmissions. What strange are most people have strayed from factory specs and went their own way to resolving shifting and longevity issues. Strange to see even G56 factory filled with ATF+4 and called good.
  4. Even with it cut off under the cab right now straight piped and turned down is quiet while cruising. Yes you can hear the note rather well with the windows down and rolling the gear on a heavy foot. I've been driving on this now for 2 days not bad for shorty straight pipe. Enlighten me... I want to hear about your research on exhaust systems. I'm not getting much info other than just buy the cheapest thing out there...
  5. Funny to hear about the ol' 50wt gear lube being used as well...
  6. All you did with that flash is move the starting point of the problem to 1,000 RPM then it starts it misfire after 1,000 RPM up to 1,200 or so. So this still points out the low end of the Quadzilla is doing something to skip or misfire cylinders. Again set for level 0 no issue.
  7. Did I read that right you are running a NAPA clutch?
  8. This is my next one to shot a video of. I'll catch this one sometime today with video camera showing how many time it fails before connection.
  9. One last shot I'm going to make my phone calls today and see who can do the best deal for stainless 4 inch exhaust system without a muffler. Yeah I'm going back to straight pipe.
  10. Also I've used NAPA master/slave cylinders as well.
  11. Need to read error codes and report back your error codes. Then also check fuel pressure and report back both idle and WOT fuel pressure.
  12. Nope. Because if I completely unplug the Quadzilla there is no problem hence how I found this issue in the first place.
  13. The only thing I will warn about is DOT inspections might not go over very well. I know its controversial about top vs bottom draw tanks on diesel vehicles. Depends on how people read the rules on fuel supply system rules. There are states that require vehicle inspections and this kind of mod may or may not pass. I posted to remind folks of offroad usage and consider what happens if you snag your sump or filters on your AirDog or FASS. Being I deal with a lot of rancher trucks that travel offroad quite a bit I've heard all the stories of the damages from offroad operation. As for your setup CumminsTech, I think it's fine as long as you on pavement or dirt roads. The only think else I would mention is winter time operation where having the filters out of the cold wind will run better and handle gelling better.
  14. Hmmm... I'm close to your setup... DAP VCO 7x0.0085 Injectors Holset HX35/40 Hybrid 60/60/12 Quadzilla Adrenaline (Untapped currently) I'll admit that with an empty truck and not towing I can stand on the throttle at it super hard to reach 1,200*F. Now towing my RV using @Me78569 Towing tune it was pretty tough to get excessive EGT's that reached the 1,300*F limit I've got set. Daily driving I've got no smoke for the most part.
  15. Yeah and no. If the ECM applies power from the anti-stall feature then it could possibly create that issue as well. As long as it hits that throttle amount then YES it will stutter and miss. If the Quadzilla is on level ZERO no issues.
  16. Most noticeable rolling in parking lots where speed and throttle are low. Like rolling in my driveway sounds sick with a nasty miss as I roll in the yard on light throttle. All I got to do is switch to level ZERO it's gone smooth as silk every time. If I let off the throttle it disappears. Throttle harder it disappears. Another spot is in small towns where speed limits are as low as 15 to 25 MPH shows its ugly head and sounds nasty.
  17. Now since my exhaust rotten off the muffler. I now shorten it up to the good stuff left and put a turn down on it. You can really hear the miss now there is no muffler and open pipe under the cab. Again any Quadzilla setting above ZERO will produce the miss. Zero is smooth and clean. I know I've got to get a video of it but I'm trying to find my tripod for my camera. Hard to hold the camera and my phone at the same time attempting to record as I hold the throttle (about 2% TPS 900 RPM) and change levels up and down. https://youtu.be/4Tq1gQewzpE
  18. I gather you don't go offroad much? The places I got I would of taken both Airdog filter and wiped them off and that sump too. This is fine for a pavement princess but I'd never install it for an offroad vehicle. Back in my high stepping days of hauling firewood. (Temporarily suspended...) Stepping over logs, stumps, rocks, limbs, etc. Didn't matter just got the job done. Ask me about the huge dent in my floorboard in the passenger side.
  19. I'd replace both master and slave cylinders as a pair...
  20. There is a lot of options of hiding the tubing in different areas.
  21. Darn misalignment issues. Funny how the wrong order of installing parts will create such strange issues.
  22. That's why I'm bouncing just a little bit over the stock line. Won't impact the longevity and the efficiency too bad. Like for me it about travelling 4,000 a month, keeping getting MoparMom to dialysis, and get me back and forth to jobs so I can keep the bills paid.
  23. Give me a little time and I'll build a write up about it really soon.
  24. Another vote for removing all the old versions on the iQuad app it would reduce the confusion. Then categorize all the existing and remain versions.
  25. Up north Cummins engines are idled for many hours in the subzero temperatures. Basically the oil pressure low limits are 10 PSI at idle and 30 PSI at 2,000 RPM's.
