Exactly correct... Yeah it can build up and mess up the spray pattern of the injectors. This is why I did all the study and work for you all to educate you to better ways of keeping your truck running at its best.

Ranger axle carrier removal?
Sadly I can't help. I've never worked on a limited slip rear end. Really common for standard open diffs out here.

2006 Dodge Ram 3500 - Blower Motor issue
This is just a quickie fix for a customer that came to me asking if I could fix there A/C & heat the blower would randomly work or not work. Yeah I started at the wrong end testing the TIPM first which I found out everything was working properly. Then I moved to the blower motor itself. After removing the blower motor from the HVAC case then everything made sense. Check out the Quick TikTok. As you now see that TikTok videos are now rendered properly on the website software. There will be more of these in the future.

New theme for Mopar1973Man
Well this theme is a purchased theme has been coded by a group called IPSFocus. Now there are a few features you can find a a member, just on the desktop it looks like a slider switch in the upper right corner near your name. On mobile is next to the 3 bar icon on the left. Now this will allow you to select different banners that scroll by. Currently I made on for from Beast Photos but in needs to be about 1,500 to 2,000 px long to fill wide screens properly and no higher than 240 px. I've got the ability to have 10 different banners scrolling by. Could be random or member selected. Yes I've got a Halloween, Christmas, Nears, and few other visual features. Nice part for me finally I don't have to hand code all the extras in this is all handled by IPSFocus. I might be really close to getting the store back open very soon. Be patient I've got to make a few phone calls and talk to another software company about set up and see if I can get the functions I require. I really would hate to set up 2 new apps on the server to find out that its still doesn't work. I know there are people asking about high idle kits, the risk is way too high, being its nearly 100% price jump in cables now meaning they would be closer to $300 a unit. I'm just not willing to make a $7,000 gamble that I might sell a few units at $300 a shot. There is other features brought into the software which I'll be setting up. I'm also going to show how to properly use the Garage area so you get the most bang for your effort. You'll notice a Elite Articles now shows up but empty. This is going to be the new Article Database for Member Only. Now I know that if I only make articles in the Elite side only Google will not find them. This means I have to produce a simple article on the old database, that point to complete article on the members only side. Yeah this will take more effort to produce being the members side is easy I don't have to worry about search engine SEO but just quality of info. The Free side has to have the SEO but not all the info to do the job that points back to Elite side. I've had so many folks tell me I'm very knowledgeable but I just can't afford to keep giving away my knowledge and skills for nothing. Hence the changes in the website.

I believe my fuel return line is leaking.
You might want to stop over and give them a review in the Vendor Listing...

I believe my fuel return line is leaking.
Typically the sealing washers go bad. I've had to replace a set on mine awhile back. No issues since. Typically the line itself doesn't go bad but the seals on the banjo bolt or the square cut o-rings at the return tee fail.

Drop Lights
I'm using the standard drop light you can buy from Home Depot but the only difference I use a 100w LED bulb that is the bright white. The drop light was 22 dollars and then the LED bulb.

2nd Gen Cummins heater temp differences between trucks
Maybe you should ask @pepsi71ocean he's been running a 200*F thermostat year round. He's over there on the East Side of the US.

Time to replace the banjo bolt seals. 14mm wrench if I remember correctly, and the fun is getting back there and changing both seals. It does help to have the valve cover off give a bit more room to work.

Miracle Oil-Front Axle Seal
Sad part is we lost a lot of articles because people posted there photos on other sites like Photobucket. Once the photos disappeared then the article lost it meaning some times especially if the entire article was photos.

Genos seat cushion
Yeah I need two bottom cushions. I need to replace both Beast's and Thor's driver seat cushions. Thor I need the fabric as well since its completely worn out with a good sized hole in the driver seat edge. Thanks for the review of the product!

Miracle Oil-Front Axle Seal
Wheel bearings I ALWAYS use a small hone brush to clean the entire opening of rust, then coat everything with anti-seize and the bearing come out very easy. Once the shafts are out then you can open the front the front differential and remove the 3rd member. As for the seals I remember the shop that did mine last had the fancy seal press tool for taking them out and installing them again. Sad to say I've never had to do a axle seal yet. I'll have to visit that on Thor in the future.

2nd Gen Cummins heater temp differences between trucks
Normal. Mine drops to 186°F the cycles up to 192°F and opens then drops again. Good sign to do a winter front. Colder is not efficient, being coolant starts dropping more energy is attracted to the cold. Myself I'm going to install a 200°F thermostat (4th Gen) here soon. Hotter coolant has better thermal efficiency.

Harmonic Balancer
Hey it least 2nd Gens are easy to work on compared to 4th Gen.
-
Harmonic Balancer
Never had to yet. The alignment dots are still lined up and the rubber isn't swollen yet either. Biggest thing is fix your oil leaks and do the crankcase vent mod. Then keeping the engine power washed and clean.

3:42 default axle ratio for 2018 3500s?
Must of done my task correctly...

Compound Turbo install complete
In time the new feeling will wear off. The only thing I can suggest is like myself I typically run either level 2 or level 3 on the Quadzilla being the injectors alone provide good amount of daily driving power. Then when its time for play then I can crank it up on level 4+. With winter knocking on my door step here in New Meadows and seeing snow on my trip home I know that I'll need to keep the power down to level 2 most likely. Oh... Pretty soon I'll be releasing a updated version of my Economy Tune. Most the timing map was altered and produces better low RPM power and mid RPM power for cruising. I've not had a lot of time to play with it since I've been gone the last two weeks. Yes, I built this tune just few days before I left for my Texas Road Trip.

3:42 default axle ratio for 2018 3500s?
Just keep in mind don't put anything but stock tires back on these trucks. If it has the 4.10 then yes you can add oversized tires. Even the 3.73 you can add a mild increase in tire size. Just consider that with 3.55 gears on Beast, ONE INCH smaller tire (245/75 R16) makes it 3.69:1 final. Yes, with 3.73 gears you can go up ONE INCH and would be close to 3.55:1 final. With 3.42 gear I highly suggest just leave stock tires sizes on these trucks. Fun note. I actually hunt for 4th Gens with oversized tires because in a street race I can easily whip them light to light with "Beast" because typically the 3.42 with 35 inch tires now makes the final ratio to the ground 3.09:1 making my opponent very tall geared and difficult to launch with power, EGT's are much higher, and doesn't have the low end power.

Again ATF is high ash lubricant. Then the friction modifiers, and the anti-scorching compounds that retard burning. ATF today is not like what was available back 1970s.

Where is Mopar1973Man?
Shouldn't have many issues, the rental car was a 2022 Kia Forte when I picked it up it had like 25 miles on the odometer, yes just 25 miles. Now it's closer 1,700 miles later. Thankfully it was getting like 54 MPG. Even at today's fuel price it's only 25 dollars to fill up from half tank. I think I spent roughly 200 in fuel from Texas to Idaho. Yup that's @Honey Badger in the photo just as we left Colleyville TX.

Where is Mopar1973Man?
Well as of right now ive made it to Boise ID. Now ive got plans in place to get home from here. My good friend Muddy is going come get us from the airport when we drop the rental off. Then Mark is bringing Minnie from home so we can get back. Gotta give credit to all the people that are aiding me in this adventure.

Where is Mopar1973Man?
Yup gave it a try but timing was poor. All the pre-planning it sad we were so close to getting to meet but... Next time @jlwelding... We rental a Kia Forte 2022 from Dallas Airport this thing has like no miles on it. It brand new. As for this morning we are in Colorado Springs and heading back towards Idaho. I'm very please with the car it running at about 45 MPG. Every fuel stop is right at 1/2 tank its like 20 to 25 dollars. Already drove like 700 miles from Dallas to Colorado Springs. Personal note I'm glad to get back to the mountains. Flatlanders, you guys can keep that stuff. I like the twist and turns of mountain driving over blindly staring down a long flatroad.
