When mine started to leak it wasn't from the rubber part of the seal, the metal rusted through because it's a double wall, outer wall for road debris. Stuff gets trapped between and rusts. I used a 3/4 impact to take it of and put it on, reused the nut and it went about 1/4 farther than before. I didn't use the sleeve as it only had a small grove on the yoke. Next time I'll buy a new yoke, may even get a bigger size one and have a local shop build an aluminum driveshaft.

If you're that brave to let your friends borrow your truck, I'd just build a tune dedicated for that, so no matter what they can't get to 1200. Then take the phone/tablet out of the truck so they can't change the levels, which if you trust them they should not.

That's the one I got in 5" and it made a huge difference in cab noise, plus I got some of that robbery stuff with foil on it for sound systems, much nicer inside the cab now. As for the screen I found some tougher stuff that has maybe fiberglass in it, all I know it's not easy to tear and it's not metal. I just use a broom and knock the bugs off of it once in awhile.

I'd love to have a 4th or even 5th gen, but the only way I'd buy one if it was deleted or I would do it. I think sooner than later they will push for having all states to pass emissions so if that happens I would want nothing to do with it. This way it's pre emissions and has 4doors. I often wonder if I get something like a suburban or something big and put a cummins in it, doesn't matter the year, if it had to pass emissions, how would they go about it. Would they go by the make model or the engine that's in it, or would they just say it is illegal to have one now, that's been modified because we can't test it.

A lot have to do with how we live our lives, stress is number one killer and starter of most all illness. If we grow and eat our own food we wouldn't have these issues, or at least it would be very rare. We all have cancer in our bodies and our immune system keeps things in check, if we get stressed and eat junk with little sleep we invite all these problems to our life. B17 is one of the demonized drugs that can cure cancer, but I still think prevention is by far better then the battle. Hydrogen peroxide available almost anywhere, 10-15 drops in a glass of water every morning will keep you from getting seek, of course you can't rely just on that alone, healthy way of leaving is priority.

The only thing I can think of what's happening is timing case bolts may be getting lose, so it may be a good idea to get it all fixed sooner than later. Kdp is bad but any bolt that hold the case on can also work it selves out and do damage, I don't think it's as common but probably happened to someone. No need to be scared right now, I'm sure it'll be fine for a while but if was me I'd get all the parts lined up and do it right. It kinda contradicts what I said earlier about using rtv and be fine for years, just thinking out loud here. Who knows maybe it was just a piece of gasket that blew out and everything else is fine.
