Vacuum Pump Oil Leak Driving Me Insane!
Is it pouring out or is it just wet? Don't want to insult you but are the seals facing the right direction?

SMOKE HOUSE
I also learn best by trial and error. That's a sure fire (pun intended) way to wreck a ham.

Any issues with the insulation or door gasket getting to hot? I've heard that can be an issue.

Time for my first Cummins Headgasket
Well since we're on this subject do you have a favorite brand? I've given enough of my money to the tool trucks over the years so I'd prefer to stay away from them.(snap-on,Mac,Matco) I've been happy with my stuff from Klein and Wright but they definitely don't give that stuff away.

strange vibration or miss/stumble under light acceleration
Or a better fix yet drive through town in 3rd gear to keep your RPMs up higher. A diesel engine in general doesn't like to be "lugged" around town

strange vibration or miss/stumble under light acceleration
Well if it was just popping fuses and its working fine now I have a hard time believing the misfire is related to LP wiring. Does it ever crank over longer than normal this would be an indication that you're getting air in the fuel system.

Need to remove Valve Body from 47RE trans
Removing the VB is pretty easy if you have basic mechanical skills. I say go for it. Biggest thing to remember is to keep it clean. I always power wash under the truck whenver I'm opening up a trans because I gaurantee you'll bump a crossmember or framerail and knock a chunk of dirt into the trans pan you just cleaned out.

strange vibration or miss/stumble under light acceleration
Could you elaborate a little bit on what fried the wiring and where it was damaged. On the extension harness or was it on the factory side of the LP plug in?

Advice Needed on frt otor replacement
The regular torx head bolts that hold the caliper to the bracket I believe are a T45 or47. You don't need an external torx for the other two that hold the caliper bracket on, a 12 point socket fits just fine. I believe it's an 18mm

how hot is too hot for trans temp
I guess the best set up would be to put a temp sensor in-line and in the pan. When I install one it will probably be on the pan, I guess I'm more interested in overall system temp. Look at pretty much any hydraulic system (essentially all a trans is) and the temp gauge is on the reservoir.

Bumper welding this weekend
I might have order some of this. I have POR15 on the rust prone areas of my truck and I am very disappointed with the results after one winter. Especially for the time and money I spent on it.

Truck wont start
Are you getting any fuel or bubbles from the cracked injector lines?

2500 2WD Front Suspension work
I used to buy MOOG exclusively because they were good parts. My last MOOG track bar lasted about 6,000 miles and almost left me stranded 400 miles from home. I've been having good luck with NAPA heavy duty line.

Truck wont start
Ya I'd say start with a new harness or at the very least solder and heat shrink them back together. Only thing I can think of is maybe some one screwed up the plug for the VP and hacked a junkyard end back on it. Also stupid question, but are all the wires crimped to the correct wire?
