  1. 2001 with CAD and vacuum actuator, has anyone replaced this with a factory or store part and what would you recommend? No, I don't want to the cable, just replace what's broken. Rock Auto has a standard motors unit,a dana unit where the part numbers don't match anything online...
  2. Have a buddy with the expensive snap on tool read it
  3. Cut it off yourself and buy some strap clamps and 3” pipe for $30
  4. Oem vs dorman. I haven’t been impressed with dorman in the past. Then again his OEM did crack
  5. https://www.genosgarage.com/product/manifold-5254373/exhaust-manifolds might try local cummins for better price
  6. Putting stock injectors back in? Might as well throw some rv275s in there at least
  7. Hyde Park? I've been on some jobsites down in Fishkill and Newburgh and a couple other areas around there.
  8. only 4 hours away from me in central MA!
  9. Running 5/8” napa oil restistant hose with 90s
  10. It has EZ lube, guy told me they are a step up from bearing buddies. Supposedly you can pump them full of grease and not blow out any seals.
  11. Got my company to pay for it, picking up Mike's trailer in Maine on Monday. Big Tex 70TV-12, tandem axle, 7,000gvwr, 30" tall sides, perfect for what I need. Next question, is it critical for me to torque to spec 450 ft-lb on the 2 5/6" ball to mount? I have a 250 ft-lb wrench, then I could cheat it with my 3/4" breaker bar and a pipe? Or bring to a shop?
  12. I have them in both my trucks, grey ones. I’m happy with them. After 100k miles and 2 years, they are holding up with just a little color fading. Autoanything can have them on sale
  13. Nozzles are what give you the extra power, bigger holes for fuel flow. “New” injectors come with nozzles. Either buy new nozzles to put on your old injectors and have them serviced or just buy new injectors which come ready to go.
  14. Easier just to buy 100hp injectors, especially if you have old injectors. Unless you really want to disassemble, clean, install new nozzles and have a shop pop test them.
  15. Shoot. I’ve been looking at Big Tex mainly, Rice, Sure Trac, I haven’t found enough information on down 2 earth trailers out of Georgia (cheaper).
  16. Ya that's what they told me today. Had Mikes trailer priced up in MA, the 70TV-12, $4,200 plus $152 for a spare tire, plus 6.25% tax, title and registration fee. That's almost $5,000 for tandem axle angle iron frame rated for 7,000 lbs. I priced up another Big Tex a 10' single axle rated for 3,000lbs gvwr at $2,699 plus everything else. This is depressing.
  17. I need to pay a registration fee and titling fee regardless, titling fee for anything over 3,000 lbs gvwr. I’m pretty sure thats it . However I might title in Maine at my parents address, a lot cheaper. NH to CA? That’s drastic
  18. Thanks guys, tandem it is. Just need to get some other pricing and specs. I think I'll price up Mike's exact trailer 12' and 14' with the high sides and some other 12'-16' landscape trailers. Last question, how much does your standard 35-45hp diesel tractor with attachments weigh? Online I'm seeing about 3,500lbs? I definitely don't need the larger skidsteer heavy duty trailer but if a 7,000 gvwr trailer will carry a home/farm tractor with front bucket and hoe i'm all in. Another couple years and we can move to Maine with some acreage and it'll be time for tractor. With an 83" wide deck I can fit everything either sideways or longways. 10,000-12,000lb equipment trailers are at least $4,500 in Taxachusetts. Might be going to tax free New Hampshire anyways to save 6.5%.
  19. I got quoted $3,000 for 3.55 to 3.73 yukon gears
  20. Need to buy a trailer for work to haul large plastic storm water chambers to jobsites, 4' and 5' tall, 8' long, some 8' wide. Weight wise the most I would carry would be around 3,000lbs, but normal weekly trips would only be about 1,000lbs, plus trailer weight, towing with my 1/2 ton chevy. I could squeak by with size wise with some 7x10/12' single axles, or is it worth it to go with tandem? Looking at this trailer here below, besides getting some extra room and greater gvwr, does going from single to tandem gain me much? I usually only have 2hr commutes, sometimes 3hr. This would be my trailer that I rent out to my company, I'm debating spending the extra $1,000 for a bigger trailer. Any input would be great. http://www.hawkestrailer.com/2018-down-2-earth-trailers-82x16-landscape-trailer-equipment-trailer-5ybg|Xqe.html
  21. Call DAP, I got a 60hp set from them many years ago. They were supposed to be 50s but ended up flowing like 60s, that's what they told me.
  22. Rebuild is simple. If we don’t have a kit here genos and others have them. https://www.genosgarage.com/product/lb-r90ss/engine-rebuild-kits-3
  23. Looks like aftermarket, not genuine bosch. No experience with them, but I’d spend the extra money for bosch.
