  2. Ya ive been lazy and havnt updated my signature. I sold my 01 and bought a 06 mega. I had the first efi live in the state of nebraska but it is way too complicated to tune. So I had erick build me tunes for my first 06.
  3. Dashes are easy after you do you first. And there are no bolts or screws that are hard to get out
  4. I get it cheaper And it can be used just like any other programmer. Return it to stock and use it on another vehicle. A smarty cts is around 1200.
  5. I would hate to be marco. Im sure he has been stressed this last year. Im kinda at a cross roads right now. I got a license for efi live (I was given two efi live licenses when efi came out for cummins and did some testing for erick brown). So I have a free license or do I buy the smarty touch since I want to run a cts. I guess it will depend on how much it is.
  6. Run 1/2" to the filter and get a big line kit and run 1/2" from the filter to the vp

  10. Ya the video i watched, they said drill right below and it was a pain to get the x piece in there.
  11. I loved my beans sump. So simple. Did you drill directly below the stock basket?

  14. Will a fuel boss work with a bad lift pump? Say your lift pump goes out, will your pickup start since the fuel boss doesnt work until after startup. That is my concern with them and have never been able to find answers.
  15. The only warranty that can be voided is the emissions and that is it. There is a law that makes the companies prove that aftermarket products caused problems. But when you get rid of the epa b.s. than you get rid of 99% of the problems. I have a couple of guys that were having problems plugging up. Since I did the deletes, they havnt had one problem. And 40 hp isnt going to cause problems which is the economy tune. I agree that the def trucks are better, but why have all the extra junk getting thrown back into the engine? I got one guy getting 7mpg better with his pickup. Will it take awhile to pay off? Yes. But you are also not sending raw fuel through the engine to keep the exhaust clean. The guy wanted options and I gave him the best one. The only other thing he can do is make sure to always run the exhaust brake, eliminate as much idle time as possible and run high idle if he has an auto.

  17. Do not get a stock dash, they will crack because they are thin. The lmc replacements are suppose to be thicker so they wont crack. I was going to replace the whole dash on my 01 until I sold it
  18. Im not a fass fan but have heard the titanium is a good pump. I got an email from airdog saying they are coming out with a direct drive pump that wont fail like the last ones would. Havnt got my hands on one yet. Also look into a fuelab pump. They are spendy but are the future.
  19. Classic lift pump failure. Cant keep up with heavy fueling but will with idle/ light throttle. Surprised you dont have a check engine light on. But on the good side, your pump is easy to replace with aftermarket
  20. They are working on the 13's now. It wont be long. They are awesome people, the owner of the company has personally emailed me since he seen me order so many and ask me how I liked them and if there was anything he could do for me
  21. Raceme tuner and 4" turbo back exhaust. Het rid of all the problems, gets better mileage, and is better on the engine. I have done around a dozen of them and everybody is happy with them
  22. Ya rears suck. I always work back to front that way i have the energy and patience to do those first. I dont like using the alternator because i do believe it turns the motor backwards. I just find the tdc mark on the dampner and turn the dampner
  23. Ive installed hundreds of manuals and never measured. I havnt seen one reson to and have never had any problems with clutches. People have way too much time on their hands
  24. The stands are so it doesnt fall off the lift. We had them and only used them if there was a heavy load in the box and only used one under the hitch
  25. That guy needs a life. I could tell from the start of the video that he doesnt work comission. Also why would you use two lift stands to support the truck? I couldnt even watch 15 seconds into it. I have never checked alignments and never will.
