I use them all the time, they work great ensure you have a good stable temp heat gun and don't have tension or torqueing on the wires when you apply heat. I do like to use heat shrink as a 2nd layer of protection as well.

we finally got above 0 yesterday. the last ~3-4 weeks has been hovering between -30*f in the morning and -10*f during the day. a couple 20* days will be heavenly.

dropping tire size will help, I dont know if it will be enough though. gearing down is easier on the truck and the wallet.

its easier on everything to just gear down and let it work. 3rd is 1:1 ratio, od is .69:1 so the struggle bus is a long heavier in OD.

Good place to start here's the result of your setup The short if it is at 65 mph you do not have enough RPMS to tow up grades without downshifting. rpms need to be up at or above 2k to prevent heat build up from lugging. your only real choice is 4.10 rear end if you dont want to downshift. or just lock out OD and let the motor work like it was designed to do. No amount of tuning, injector, turbo combo is going to overcome the lack of RPMS. You can ask @dieselautopower if the 57 gxe turbo would get into its map fast enough prevent egt issues at 1600-1700 rpm while towing grades, but I wouldn't think it would.

that ev hummer is a pig, there is no need for it to be 9000# its a dumb vehicle just like the H2 and h3 were dumb. comparing the hummer ev to a work truck is like comparing a kia to a rally car. Looks like on average the ev's model to model vs the ice at ~%10-%20 heavier. i would have to think that is from the battery. Curb weight in an ICE does not include fuel so that can alter the difference depending on size of tank etc, but as battery density increases we will see those weight numbers drop. on average battery density appears to be increasing at %5-%8 a year. however the push and $$ put towards increasing battery density is rapidly growning so we will have to see where that leads. it's coming..

Not sure I follow on this one? The awd model 3 with long range batteries is right at 4,000# A upper model legacy is over 3700# and a buick envision over 3900# curious to see more information on road damage of EV vs ICE. They need to figure out taxes for EV without a doubt, roads are not going to get any better with less money due to less fuel being bought.

30-35 psi on the highest level, 24 sound about right on lvl 0 /2/3 depending on tune.

to be compatable with all trucks without extra cost and install requirements are you talking about lines ~69-83 ish?

what is yellow? -40 means coolant is over 204*. the ecm is not capable of reporting coolant hotter than that so it wraps around. sounds like you need a new map sensor, but high psi readings are not reliable via the oem sensor. it wasn't really designed for that, but once you hit 30 psi you are likely at max fuel so it doesn't really matter.

how does it run on the default tune?

How old is your vp?

Cel is %100 normal with a 4k box as the ecm thinks the truck is in runaway and the fueling solenoid is held open longer than it should be. Can you'd describe what "freaked out" mean?

you need something to do boost fooling. The ecm is only allowing ~18 psi. your truck is pretty much defueling all the time when you are towing with that setup.
