  1. There should be enough threads sticking out to use a pair of calipers to measure the bolts.
  2. it's not the AB Scomputer giving the code the p0501 is a pcm code. last time I check a VSS sensor was like $15. I would replace it for good measure. I think the code is saying that hte ABS computer is not reporting a speed from the VSS when speeds for the rear sesnor is greater than 20 mph
  3. did you read through the article yet? the ABS computer can store codes that are only readable using very specific tools, but this code is not in the ABS computer.
  4. Heads studs are a good idea, but stickers hold past 40 no prob. Bump up boost to 35-38 and test for boost leaks
  5. not really depending on the use of the truck. The quad also ramps down slow so you might see higher than that EGT's if you have a load on it. 1150 will give you a good safe buffer.
  6. Test for boost leaks. You should be spinning that turbo to mars with the fuel you have. I would expect 40+ psi.
  7. test for boost leaks? What do you consider high egts? What type of boost are you seeing?
  8. My neighbors truck was stolen 2 years ago, about a week after it was stolen I saw it making a turn about 4 blocks from where it was taken. I called the police, and followed them until they started to drive dumb and speed in a school zone with kids all around. They ditched the truck a few minutes later in a residental neighborhood and the cops showed up 5 minutes later.
  9. I ran 25 psi for a long time with no issues, but that was only because my pressure drops with the raptor were so bad,
  10. The only good thing I can say is that your truck stands out. I'll keep and eye out and figure out how to post it to a notice.
  11. Simple clip thing that attaches to the seat bottom. you can unbolt the bottom of the seat, pull it out and it is pretty easy to take it from there.
  12. Steps: 1. go to your local junk yard. 2. Find a 2nd gen 3. walk ot the passenger side 4. remove passenger cushion 5. return home 6. use a sharp knife and "edit" the cushion to fit the drivers side 7. ???? 8. PROFIT!!! really though it is easy. The passenger side fits without much trouble, Took my maybe 30 minutes to get it installed.
  13. Mike, time for you to ride in Tfaoros truck again. At least in mine so I can show you the tuning difference that is possible. I don't wanna say it is a brave new world, but it is close haha
  14. I am going to try the first link you posted,
  15. no pin one for me either, Trying to find what pin 1 is called / wired to on a 05. might give us a clue.
  16. Good to know. I wasn't sure if the pcm needed to have it turned on or not
  17. I really dont know if it will work. The pcm is what drives it all, I think, and if the pcm wasn't programmed for the overhead then it likely wont get any messages. You can try but I am guessing you will see a "no bus" message up there. FYI my overhead is about spot on. within 1 mpg +-.
  18. To the mullet is working for ya Sure that's a good idea, we might scare her away bahaha. Good work.
  19. The motoconrol box controls highs and lows. And you only need one to control both sides.
  20. only 150k? lol I wonder how many revs the compressor made in those 150k a few trillion....at least? I would just rebuild your hx35 with a genuine Holset kit. So I bored and given average shaft speed of 70,000 rpm driven 2 hours a day 300 days a year it is about 5 trillion revs.
  21. Both of my doors have torn sheet metal. Nothing a new 4" washers can't "fix"....ugh
