Custom pv1 tuning
they are working on a screen. however you are experiencing the pain of using outdated hardware right now. An app is x100 easier to update as time goes on. The update for v2 to work with the iquad app took a 10 minute change of the online file ot link the new tuning to the app. if you spend money on a dedicated screen you are stuck with the hardware, as time goes on that hardware becomes outdated and your are forced into a cycle of updating hardware as new stuff comes out.

Yep, I have done a ton with them.... it's the communication protocol that would be "fun" to reprogram to work.

2012 steering wheel into 2011 truck.
how many wires in the connectors? I know on 2nd gen trucks the buttons on the steering wheels are a ohm output to the pcm so they only need 2 wires for all the buttons. If x is pushed then resitense = 2.2k for example. The pcm picks that up and says ok do x

Lets see what guns you "don't own" :shifty:
I dont own a few of them but this one is my favorite. My Model 94 that I dont own lol Canadian bicentennial. I sold it at one point to a friend then I missed it so much I had to buy it back for more than he gave me. I have been looking to upgrade from my elk / deer mossberg .270 which has been an awesome field rifle. I think I have less than $400 into it and it is reliably within 1" at 100 yards year after year without doing much of anything to it. But I am jones'en for a new Henry long ranger in .308 to take over for the .270. Just because I want to feel like john wayne when I hunt. My thinking is the elk and deer will come out into the open easier and then when I do shoot them they will stand up on their hind legs, yell " ahhh you got me" and fall over backwards. Beyond that a pistol that is not trust worthly and a few 22's and 12 gauges for clay shooting. anyone got any cool stuff?

I can't even imagine what that would take lol.

App idea?
I dunno if that data exists on the sci bus.

Custom pv1 tuning
scaling was literally just a / of timing. It didnt work in the way they said it did. Old Quad was a interesting dude, but wasn't always %100 honest. I remember the first time I datalogged the fueling and timing commands with the old tunes lol. timing was maxed at 30*+ of timing by 2500 rpm if boost was up balls to the wall IE setting timing at 6.5* would give you 6.5* of timing max, if you set scaling to %50 it just took timing and / 2 across the board lol. OR exactly the same and just using 3.25* of timing and %100 scaling;. from the looks of the code it seemed as if they just "gave up" on trying to do the scaling stuff lol. regardlessI fixed that so it now works like they intended it to for the timing reduction scaling.

and how did you accomplish that? old Quadzilla lied about some stuff lololol

Replacement Edge fuel pressure sensor
you want a 0-33 psi 5v reference sensor. Any of those SHOULD work in theory.

2012 steering wheel into 2011 truck.
The clock ring and wiring would need to be looked at. you might need to repin the connectors. that would be my first thing to think about.

New guy.
Welcome, We have a lot of good stuff here, We are raffling off a set of projectors for headlight retrofit.

Injector nozzle size
it is going to be very hard to answer that question. More ofter than not the numbsers do not related to an aftermarket size.

Quadzilla display project
@jigabop Also I don't know if you remember or not but there is a 30 second cycle between connection routines. You are are opening and closing the app over and over to try and get it to connection you might actually be killing the app before it has time to cycle the auto connect function. Dunno if that is the case or not but food for thought.

Quadzilla display project
Try just leaving the app running without all the extra stuff you have going on to control the auto start and stop functions

NO BUS message on odometer
I'd send it back and have them fix it. Sounds like you have bad signals on the CCD bus

doors unlock windows come down
Maybe a short in the wiring between the lock and window? One touch down. Would make that easy to happen.

Quadzilla display project
I just left mine on 24/7 365. Too lazy to bother all that fnacy stuff.

emissions + quad v2
Sweet man. Glad it worked.

Bottom of dipstick looks melted?
seen this as well, guessing you have an aftermarket dipstick that just has the nub at the end.

2001 24 Valve Intermittant Dying/Bogging down
any codes stored in the ecm when you scan with a scan tool? do you have a live data tool to see things like throttle input?
-
emissions + quad v2
valet mode has less smoothing in place so that is why you are seeing the difference. the snap test is hard because that 1st duration command could be an ecm command or it might be a quad command. people never noticed it when the fueling is above stock, but you start to notice it when you are pulling fueling at a high rate.

will it tow
Me78569 replied to oldhippie66@comcast.net's topic in 2nd Generation Dodge Reliability / Performancelol I can't imagine the **** show that would happen if you plugged a pv2 into a splitter lol. you owuld have all sorts of data clashing. the pv2 screen will overwrite the settings in place with the V2 tuning and it will be a mess. :Let me repeat DO NOT run the pv2 screen on a V2 tune, you will not get what you think you should in your tune. IE 1 tuning variable will come from the old school tunes and 1 will come from the v2 stuff then none might make it.

emissions + quad v2
2 is just your 0-10 psi settings up to %100 of duration and then timing. lvl 3 is your full tuning map. Lvls 2 and 3 should be nearly the same for smoke as they use the same settings. Edit: @jigabop You dont have the pv2 plugged in still do you? That would explain a lot of the confusion I have with your post.

iQuad Boost Readings Lower than Boost Gauge
no issue.

iQuad Boost Readings Lower than Boost Gauge
that is impossible to answer. The mech gauge will be more accurate, generally, but one may be higher or lower than the other.
