  1. I put 5" FloPro on mine and it fit pretty good. The clamps are good quality and the fit was good except I had to hammer a spot in so it didn't vibrate against the crossmember. I wasn't crazy about the tail pipe section at first because it's straight out the side instead of going back, bending and then going out but it's grown on me.
  2. I have been wanting to put my gauges in this 95 since I got it but didn't want them on the pillar. I wanted to replace worthless cup holder with gauges. I saw a few pics on CF before and it looked simple enough. Well it turned out a lot more work and I can't cut straight to save my life but I finally got them in. Waiting for new amp boxes to show up so I can get them wired up. It won't let me attach the file for some reason, I select it and and when I attach it, it says no file selected.
  3. I just got done tapping this 12v and couldn't find my pen magnet so I did it with the engine running. I got to say, I think I will do it this way from now on. I drilled a bit and blew the shaving out a few times and when the bit broke through, the little shavings blew right out. I left it running while I was tapping it too, worked great!
  4. I have always drilled with greased bit and had a vacuum running at the same time with the engine off. I also run a pen magnet down the hole after drilling and tapping. I'm going to drill and tap my manifold today.
  5. I have seen 1st gen with a 4th gen bed so I'm sure it could be done.
  6. Go to the reply box and then to the more reply options tab. The next page will let u add pics, no photobucket needed on this site
  7. Mine was dry after 158k but i wasn't gonna put the cover back on without a new seal
  8. Just the vp, replace it with a p-pump and it will quiet down and exhaust smells different too
  9. I did mine last night, I read to put some red loc tight on so i tried. I doubt much was left on by the time I actually got the seal installed, what a booger to get in!
  10. I typically drive under the speed limit with this truck since it has 4.10 gears and I don't race from light to light. Winter in fl is not really winter at all. I couldn't believe it myself, was hoping for at least a 1mpg improvement.
  11. I recently installed a 195* thermostat in place of the stock 180 in my 95. I also flushed the engine out with water and put in a new radiator. I lost 1.2 mpg hand calculated too so the 180 is going back in. If anyone is interested, I have a 195 with new rubber gasket that has 350 miles for sale. It's one of those off of eBay that's not supposed to fluctuat. It rides here pretty steadily
  12. Here is what I did to mine tonight Before And after Hadn't backed out at all but better safe than sorry. 158k miles and the crank seal was bone dry too, hopefully it still is next week
  13. He just turned 6 at the end of December and I took that pic Sunday
  14. Mike, here is the latest pick of the little one, make sure MoparMom sees him too
  15. Give them a call next week and maybe they can help you out.
  16. I tried to with no luck on my old 2005, let us know if you figure it out.
  17. Odd number have added timing so I always ran smarty on 8 and edge on 3x5 or 5x5. Boy that truck would come to life quick with the smarty and comp cranked up with those 7x.010 injectors! Miss that old truck
  18. Just built mine with Goerend tripple disk converter, Goerend valve body and pan and a TCS Canada input shaft. I'm very pleased with it so far and have never heard anything bad about Dave Goerend.
