How strong is a stock clutch?
The smoother part interests me but like @Mopar1973Man says I dont get the quieter part. I looked at the OHD but let someone talk me out of it when purchasing the OFE.

Heat Shield for the BHAF
Yeah it has been in there for near three years. The white does not last long on mine. Hooked it up to good size shop vac a couple weeks ago to see if I could blow anything out of it and it still free flowed what ever air the vac was putting out. Like it was not on there. Still about time for another. The engine pulls a little more air than that vac puts out. Sarcasm intended.

Heat Shield for the BHAF
It keeps it off the oe box bolts. You can do the same with a heat shield.

Heat Shield for the BHAF
Ahh, I see. I just gave a quick look and saw the C and F. It says alot about measuring tire temp. I wonder how well it reads air temp? Speaking for @IBMobile and myself, that is the stock intake tube. I have the same set up only without the heat sheild. Mine is not as pretty as the brand new.

The description says it measures in C and F.

The new to me seats I just put in are nice but the drivers seat has that left side sag. I checked out your link and it says, will NOT work in quad cab. I know the seat backs were different but did not realize the bottoms might be also. Anybody ever use one of these in their quad cab? Upon looking further it says at the top it fits reg and ext cabs. The quad cab note is at the bottom

Fuel in oil after injector install
This happened to me about 7 years ago on the oe injectors. I used it as an excuse to put in some RV275 s. Never tried to find out what started leaking and the injectors fixed ythe leak. After install I had some leaks from poorly sealed connector tubes. I torqued the holds downs before tightening the fuel lines. Those leaks showed up on the head at the lines. I am thinking an injector o ring personally. Not sure you would notice the leak unless the fuel was squirting out. I was pulling the 5th wheel in mountains when it happened to me. It vented a lot oil all over the lower front of the trailer. I noticed it while buying fuel. I was pretty lucky.

Weather tech mats
I performed that mod a long time ago. Cheapest one I have is over 20 bucks. Just going to have to buy one one day. Every time my feet are wet I think about how good my ankle going to feel when my foot slips off it

You reckon? My son that that does vinyl wraps on almost any thing says they give no warranty on finishes on horizontal surfaces for that very reason. I wet sanded the roof a while back a rattled canned some some clear coat on. Looked great for about a month then went hell. Don't think I sanded all of it off plus I used Dupli color clear coat.

Mine has lost most of the horizontal surfaces.

Tapping VP with 70k?
That was the one before this one. This one has 220k on it. I am creeping up on you. This one has had a steady diet of 2 stroke and a good bit of bio diesel over the years.

Tapping VP with 70k?
My second pump had about 30k on it when I did my first tap. It lasted another 120k running on LSD and ULSD. No 2 stroke during its life. Lost a lift pump during that time and knew very little about fuel pressure then. The thresholds were much lower then. I would not be afraid to do it at 70k.

Stupid Coffee Makers
My wife got into the Kuerig one cup machines and later a pot full brewer. What a fiasco.

When I find a set, I will be getting them. I like them much better than the aftermarket I had to buy. I like the ones I got except for the 0* offset. So are mine my friend. Mine too. 17 years in the saddle.

Stupid Coffee Makers
Why buy a new one, you already performed your first mod on the old one. Put a quad on it and you can time the next pot perfectly. Just a personal opinion.

I cant help but notice how many of you are still on stock rims. I very much liked mine and bought another set off of CL a few years back. Out of those 8 I lost one and had 4 of them crack. 1 that had a small leak and the others just showed up at tire change, no pressure leaks. I hope all of yours are fine but I would check next tire change just to be sure. Maybe I just had 2 bad sets. Got 7 spare in the yard if anyone needs one.

Cleaning engine bay
The easiest way I know to clean his take it out. Not hard to do and if a coolant change is in your future do it then. Only takes about 30 minutes to pull it out.
