Average mpg for basically stock truck
Mine got around 17.5 cruising interstate 70 or so when it was new. RV275's and the edge comp got me to 19.5 cruising 75 on the interstate.

over 2000 rpms sometimes lose of power , no pedal response
I would add how are checking for codes. The 1693 is not a fault. It us just telling of another code in the other computer. The key trick only gets one computer on a 99.

Hard starting, no starting
Have checked for trouble codes?

Pilothouse/RAM3500 build
Concrete does shrink a bit in the first 28 days. And it is subjet to contraction and expansion with heat and cold variations. Even in a sun room that is climate controlled I would assume is going get sunlight. This will cause expansion and contraction in the tile and the slab. They dont always do this equally. They make expansion/contraction joints for tile that takes place of a grout joint just for this purpose. We used to do alot of tiled sidewalks when I used to build Burger Kings and used them liberaly for that very reason. Without those joints the tile will buckle and heave.

Low Oil pressure light
Sensor for dash gauge going bad maybe? I dont how the 12v's read oil pressure.

Hydroboost???
Sounds like steering gear has crapped the bed. The drag link adjustment collar coming loose could explain the steering alignment.

The engine when you exceed about 20 psi of boost. Sounds like the EZ is not boost fooling. It should. I would contact Edge and see what they say. Should have said the engine will defuel when 20 or so psi is exceded.

W-T ground mod
Yep, I saw it.

That is odd with relay unless the switch is turned to the start position. The ECM will cycle that relay on and off quickly to lower fuel pressre while starting.

VP rear support bracket.....
Watch out Hag, one of those appears to be bent near flat. Should have a near 90* bend in it. At least mine does.

From your description in the other post on the ground mod thread I gathered that you have the truck apart enough where cant start the truck at the moment, ie steering column apart, wiring harnesses open. Just want to be sure I understood that right. If not please correct me.

W-T ground mod
I was not trying to say that it did. When I go thru problems I eliminate the simple things first. If the batteries or starter are to weak to start the engine you have to address it. Weak batteries can cause electronic glitches on there own. The 1689 is no communication between the ECM and the VP. If you go to the articles section under 2nd gen 24v, OBD error codes you will see it. This could be the VP or the ECM. The only fuel relay i know of is in the PDC and they do click when when powered up. Not knowing what all you have apart is going to make this a bit tricky. A good thing to do would be to start a new thread on this. It will get more eyes and brains on it than buried in this thread.

They are actually no heavier the stone counter tops. Stone can crack too. I also like the idea of wood counter tops too. We will just have to see what happens. I like to think we are providing interesting filler material between shoots of the Pilothouse. Keep the pictures coming please.

Thinking about a 5th wheel or travel trailer
Me and the wife pretty lived in one for 15 years while on the road. Nothing wrong with it. We were very comfortable in ours.

Pilothouse/RAM3500 build
I am crazy but not stupid. She picked the one thats on there from the cabinet install. Thought she was crazy when picked it but looked great after I installed it. I would really like to try and do a concrete counter top. Lot of kits out there to do them. But that will require retirement for the time needed. Fair amount of labor involved.

Crank, no start after replacing 2 CKP sensors- Fuel issue?
What does yours attach to at the back of the crank case? Mine came with one line off the pump to the manifold and I added another later for my exhaust brake. If the vacumm line comes loose the vacuum pump pumps air into the crank case instead pullig vacuum on the system and it goes out the vent along with oil.

Very nice work. My latest creation on a much smaller scale. I wanted to put a door pull on it but the wife insisted on the drawer pull. Now all I need is new counter top.

If the engine is turning to slow it will never crank.

Possible head gasket leak
Makes me wonder about mine. The shop said they were fine and apparently I am not burning oil or see any blue smoke that is. Its 25k miles since replacement. I am long overdo of pulling the valve cover and looking.

Crank, no start after replacing 2 CKP sensors- Fuel issue?
Are your HVAC vents working properly? Looks like rhe main vacuum line fron the vacuum pump to the manifold on the firewall. But if its not connected nothing vacuum operated would be working. I dont have one that runs to the rear of the crank case.

NC is the same way. If you a buy a car for 400 bucks and the state values it 2 grand thats what they base the taxes you pay on it. But 10% tax on new truck is ridiculous. Wonder if Nancy gets a waiver on that.
