  1. School districts and the teacher in them have been teaching the progressive ideology which includes critical race theory and woke culture. Now some of those teachings have come to fruition and are being implemented in their workplace. The agreement between the Minneapolis school district and the Minneapolis teacher's union states "if excessing a teacher who is a member of a population underrepresented among licensed teachers in the site, the district shall excess the next least senior teacher, who is not a member of an underrepresented population." This means the school district will lay off white teacher, no matter how much seniority they have, before “educators of color”. The agreement further goes on to state "the district shall prioritize the recall of a teacher who is a member of a population underrepresented among licensed teachers in the district." This means “educators of color” will be reinstated first. This district policy will take effect spring of 2023. I smell a civil rights lawsuit here.
  2. Found this list of line pressures when the transmission was first installed after Dynamic rebuilt it. Line pressure, transmission in drive: no throttle stopped 85 PSI light throttle 2ed gear 105 PSI light throttle 3ed gear 110 PSI light throttle 4th gear 120 PSI @ 2200 RPM W/O throttle 1-2 shift 180 PSI @ 2800 RPM W/O throttle 2-3 shift 175 PSI @ 3100 RPM W/O throttle 3-4 shift 150 PSI W/O throttle 4-3 shift 150 PSI 100% throttle 4th gear TCC locked @ 70 MPH 160 PSI 0% throttle 3ed or 4th gear TCC locked down hill slowing 100PSI reverse gear stall test 330 PSI When the E brake is on, and the transmission is in 4th it will not down shift until truck is stopped unless I manually downshift. When the transmission is manually downshifted the E brake kicks off and will reengage if throttle is applied. It is a low stall speed, about 800RPM.
  3. Yes, but it may be a while before I can get to it. Not sure. I drop it in to second when I'm below 40MPH and the brake turns off quickly after that.
  4. I have a @Dynamicbuilt trans and a Pac PXRB and do get engine braking in 2ed but it turns off with slow speed and low RPM and not very useful. I've never tested my line pressure with the exhaust brake on, but I know the line pressure is similar to yours going down the road.
  5. and no post repair quality control
  6. Red (positive lead) to the B+ terminal of the alternator; the one with the 10MM nut on it. The black (negative lead) goes to ground. Set the meter to ac voltage.
  7. There is most likely something staying on that you don't see. You will have to perform a draw test to find it. My work van had a bad radio; even thou it was shut off it was using .075 amps. 20 milliamps (0.020 amps) are what you want to see when everything is turned off and over 0.030 amps is a problem. There must be a large drain overnight.to deplete 2 batteries. When the women get charged up near his truck...JAG1 tens to short-circuit.
  8. Sunny, Hot, High Humidity, Chance of Earthquakes...It's summer.
  9. Don't take it off. Take a picture of the alternator in the truck and the back side of the it.
  10. Take photo of alternator and post it. Somebody here will be able to tell what it is.
  11. Do the W-T ground mod, like Mopar Man suggested, along with the Alternator and PCM protection mod and PCM Ground Splice Repair mod. Have the batteries tested, a weak battery can cause problems. I just did those mods on a customer's 1999 truck this weekend; it brought the AC voltage down from .05V to .025V, a 50% reduction. https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/electrical/w-t-ground-wire-mod-simplified-r574/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-149 https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/electrical/alternator-and-pcm-protection-r617/ https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/electrical/pcm-ground-splice-repair-r675/?tab=comments#comment-115 You can replace the alternator brushes and diode/rectifier bridge. I bought my parts at an alternator/starter rebuild shop locally. https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/electrical/denso-alternator-diodes-and-brush-pack-replacement-r537/?tab=comments#comment-39 See if this helps with your problems before sending the ECM off for repair.
  12. Be sure to install the correct amp rating fuse for the system also.
  13. Have you thought about pulling the head liner out and having an auto upholstery shop relining it or doing it yourself? I'm going to get the head liner material from an upholstery fabric supplier, pull the head liner, strip the old material off, spray with 3M 38808 Headliner & Fabric Adhesive and fit the new material. I'll do a write up on it, but it won't be until November.
  14. Use the campground time for convalescing and mental therapy. Relax and let others due for you. May you have a speedy and uneventful recovery.
  15. Last year I rolled up to a job, it was as hot as your wife when you come home after being out with the guys till 3 in the morning, dam hot. I took out my infrared thermometer and check the temp on the side of the house in the shade, 108°F. I went to the front door and rang the doorbell, Owner answered the door where I inform him it's just too hot to work, "I'll be back another day".
  16. Ya, and she pretends I'm rich too.
  17. Danger is my middle name.
  18. I still have over a cord left from what i split last year. Since my wife burns it to put her in the mood, what kind of mood I have no idea, I won't be getting any more this year.
  19. They could rebuild it with parts from Geno's https://www.genosgarage.com/product/GG10FV/engine-rebuild-kits-2 looking around, it seems that Cardone and Dorman are the two main choses for a rebuilt part.
  20. When Banks tested the vacuum, did they do it at the brake actuator and at the pump? If at the pump, then the diagnosis is correct but if only tested at the exhaust brake, then there might be a vacuum hose or fitting that is leaking. Did they inspect those components during their diagnosis? The rubber fittings disintegrate over time
  21. Question, is your other truck white and just to the left in the photos?
  22. That engine change in California would not pass state smog inspection therefor could not be registered for road use. The engine has to match the "under the hood " label and all emission control components installed.
  23. Could be an axle seal that hasn't puked all over your tire yet. Get under there and sniff around. Good luck.
  24. If the torque convertor had moved forward and out of alignment the truck would have never moved let alone cracking the bell housing while trying to bolt it to the engine block. No reverse and weak forward maybe a bad front drum/clutch pack and the input shaft, which is attached to the drum, may have buggered up the oil pump and the TC.
  25. The purple hair "goofy one" doing KP duty in my 5er.
