  1. That's hopefully a good advantage then since auto parts don't sell them.
  2. Is there any way the brushes can be sold with the new diode bridge in the forum the store? Or are they easily purchased at any auto parts store?
  3. Get rest too Dave before anything as I know its rough working out of town.
  4. Eventually you will need to get the Timbo APPS. It is far more reliable. It is now on sale on this website in our store for $170.00. The factory one from Dodge costs almost $500.
  5. I still have a Bosch on the shelf from the time I switched my 2002 over to Denso. I did that because on my 1st gen truck I found those Denso's lasted.. Then 9 years later I bought my second truck, an 01 and it came with a Denso.
  6. Another question..... How difficult is it to change the diode bridge? You don't have to tear it all the way down do you?
  7. I will pay Real money but Dripley does not respond. I think he decided to keep them since he sleeps with those under his pillow.
  8. Very good write up. A tremendous amount of work went into this article. I appreciate also the work Daniel did on my truck while accomplishing this Mod. It's nice when hauling heavy on mountain curves to be able to stay locked up and not need the brakes much. It affords a time too, reminiscent of my younger days running my old first gen I drove for many years and loved the feel driving a real truck with its 5 speed transmission. One must consider also that if your getting a bit older when coming to a stop. even though I'm getting used to Daniels beautiful two switch system, I use it with caution because having a green lite does not always remind you that your locked up. Esp. when the system is first installed its easy to forget.
  9. Thanks for the tip IB now I can't 'bawk' at the price.
  10. Yes. Why you have some? Hurry up an answer cause I can't hardly breath till I get them.
  11. Yeah, I'm callin the United States Gaming commission
  12. Im having a difficult time finding some OEMs. I have the aftermarket cheapies on one of my trucks and they are cracking. Other truck has the OEs and are very strong. I will pay money
  13. I see no ECM also.
  14. no High pressure lines and its got a VE injection pump like a 12 valve yet no place to mount the mechanical lift pump to ride on the cam lobe like a 12 valve. Did I get the puzzle right?
  15. Have you tried to see if the motor is reversible? You know, reverse the pos and negative battery clips, maybe it run backward to be able to suck oil back out of the bucket and into recycle bottles?
  16. Time to aim some old shop vac hose at the alernator coming from under the bumper it will keep it cooler. They do it for aircraft. So why not MoparMan?
  17. Don't give up cracking three injectors too while trying to start.
  18. He is smart... he uses a wire harness out of a Volvo. And then while installing I saw him searching thru a bunch of wire in the steering column. He even had a Dodge automatic trans shift lever ready to go with a push button switch installed near the end like it is factory.
  19. Need to check over your wiring and voltage too but I'd guess that You need the Timbo APPS. It's more reliable so its money well spent in the long run. Next I would be looking for air sucking into the fuel like said above and check to see if your tank vent is working that your not collapsing the fuel tank. You can loose prime with a cracked factory filter cap too or not torqued to 25 ft lbs, but use the big socket not the center square with the 1/2 inch drive on the plastic cap or you can crack the plastic. A factory fuel filter cap that leaks air allows the fuel to drain back to the tank while sucking in air so it looses prime when truck sits. What lift pump do you have? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge installed?
  20. Just want to make sure I understand the importance of good grounding.... Is it true that poor grounding increases measurable A/C voltage noise from an alternator? T.I.A.
  21. Yes its good to remove the screens with a utility knife cutting them out, but only if you have a primary filter installed to protect the lift pump. That means getting the lift pump outside the tank which is also very good to do. You really need to go to Vulcan performance and buy their half inch fuel lines kit for less fuel pressure drop when towing or running up long grades. It helps the VP last by keeping it cooler.
  22. Mine haven't now for about 9 yrs since the O rings. They seal down the lites pretty well at the factory but not the screws. I don't know why that small print happens. Sometimes when I post it is block letters all of a sudden. Hasn't happened for quite awhile now.
  23. Both my second gens have the screens removed and a primary filter added before the lift pump. That's so the clogs can happen in the big filter rather than dropping the tank. Just don't think screens are the best thing as even my JD tractor had screens that were starting to get clogged at only 400 hrs. JMHO
