  1. I've been setting to 120 lbs because that's what Alcoa wheels says they like. No problems hauling 3,000 lb camper on 1400 mile round trip journeys twice a year. Only once did I put single drop of oil on the threads.
  2. One cleans your bank account, the other cleans your behind, but dripleys crew gets mixed up and use it for washing hands, truck parts, everything .
  3. Nope, but if you run out of TP IBMobile has redneck Bodettes for sale. free shipping. I think he has a picture.
  4. Taking Wednesday off (tomorrow) I will call you after doing some more research for product. I bet I can do good to find it. Need to talk with some more folks. Some RV places supplying strictly professional items aren't kind to do it yourselfers. I will find the go to company.
  5. That's okay since chicken's on the back burner Did you find what you're looking for as far as the RV roof supplies? Hope I steered you the right way anyhow.
  6. Was interesting yesterday coming home from a job. Haven't seen the freeway flowing so nicely that time of day for a couple decades. It was like having my old community back. Currently helping a family that bought a home the P/O did a lot of the work and also used hoolagin contractors. Add to that home inspectors not doing their job during the purchase, you can imagine. It sad, but I get to make it right and they good folks that understand the value of hard work. They aren't worried about the virus want me to keep going.
  7. I understand. A client told me Italy's air pollution is similar to China's conditions. Now thinking about it Italy is surrounded by seas and moving air masses.
  8. I am wondering if areas such as China and Italy carry more ominous statistics since immune systems are compromised from their everyday heavy air pollution.
  9. Is there any valid reasons why this bug is so much worse and therefore to be avoided versus other flu?
  10. If funds are running tight I would talk with Eric at Vulcan Performance. He knows how to help you out. He builds the big line kits right there at his place. He actually mills out those fittings himself and has more room to help someone if they need. He only answers the phone during Business hours, but can help get rid of those restrictive banjo bolts and set you up correctly. And you won't be doing the fuel system in steps which can cost more.
  11. Not to change the subject, but I have always been absolutely amazed at how much people really do follow the masses. You know one guy does something pretty soon everyone is doing the same thing. It so weird to me, all my life noticing how folks just can't decide what they themselves actually like as individuals...... seem to fall into the same trend or fad all the time. This does in no way apply to Dripley who we know is very strange and different with that hunt and peck on this forum all the time.
  12. I have made my own lugs using copper tubing. Cut copper tubing about 1 1/2 '' long and Insert a steel rod that fits in the copper tube while you crimp/ flatten the other end in the bench vise. Then drill the hole for whatever size electrical stud you have.
  13. I haven't been able to figure out the connection either.
  14. Dieselfuture, you found coronavirust on your truck ? Wouldn't it hurt to use that instead?
  15. Congrats bud How old where ya when you bought that truck? 26?
  16. Good one. Maybe a heat gun would also do the job.
  17. What has anyone heard about other brands? Are there some equally as good or even better than Banks by your experience? I just called Source Automotive for information about their experience on different brands and said that they use Pac Brake because the parts are easy to get and that they have experienced the frustration with Banks so they go Pak Brake. Owner also said that Pac Brake compressors go out sometimes within a year, only two so far, but the aftermarket compressor is better than the original. So far have not come back. Talking with Rip he indicated they install a lot of them. Hoping this helps that Southern Cali mechanical genius named IBMobile.
  18. My alternator got smokin hot and turned out to be a dead cell in one of the batteries. Be sure to load test the batteries separate as a bad cell can put the alternator into full on and cook itself trying to feed that bottomless pit. Soon as I put in new batteries the problem went away. Additionally, W-t ground mods one of the best things for these trucks.
  19. I think IBMobile has a picture of Mike going by a jacked up truck. He just was leaving his favorite Edward Jones office.
  20. Moparman drives on by stranded jacked up trucks, a lot of times by going underneath them. He knows when the market reaches bottom too .
  21. A Georend trans pan is far less likely to ever distort and is the only one of its kind with a low point drain plug. They are a couple hundred, but well worth it with gasket and filter they send too. They are well worth it because they help strengthen the transmission casing. I was very impressed did both my trucks in two saturdays no leaks. Other truck has the MagHytec trans pan with a drain, but the Georend is the best out of the two. Both have the trans temp sensor adapter or connector.
  22. You need the fuel pressure gauge so you can watch that your feeding the injection pump optimum fuel pressures at 14 and above. That keeps the fuel overflow valve open, getting maximum cooling to the VP by the return fuel flow back to the tank. I'm like Haggar, Im old stick in mud and don't do power mods. just bulletproof it for the long haul to keep it off the trailer. I also seem to notice a lot of those trailers can head for shops that are best to stay away from. Start learning how to do your own work. We can help you get thru a lot of it. Just ask questions. BTW, all I have on both my trucks, an 01 and an 02 are fuel pressure gauges decent aftermarket lift pumps with an added fuel filter and getting rid of the factory banjo bolt fuel line system. I have the Vulcan big line kits on both because Vulcan has a good system for reasonable price and the owner is an honest guy. I want my trucks to do the work of hauling as a cummins needs to last, but never overworking them.
  23. Guys that drive up in second gen Dodges and not a one has advanced to a nail gun yet.
  24. Thats right we'll all be there to help build the garage, but have to camp out in his yard cause the wife doesn't allow Yayhoos like us inside.
