  1. Michael Nelson, IBMobile, Dieselfuture, Dripley and all of everyone on this forum...... you guys need to slow down once each day, forget about the money and the stupid clock for a moment and ask for Gods help in these matters. Mike your going to have a broken parking brake everyday unless you stop to say some prayers and learn to let it all go. You guys try steering the bull so hard, I know how it is, but just make sure your not squeezing out those important thank you moments for Him. If you can just hold a moment till you are truly thankful, asking for the help to be sincere about it and you will begin notice changes for the better. Sometimes you have to be just plain stubborn to have a little faith in spite of yourself and all human doubt. If your patient to wait on Him, never giving up hope, you will see what he wants you to see in His perfect timing and it will be good for you. Hope you don't mind I just had to seize the chance to help you guys.
  2. Not to worry I was talking with him today. His name Brian and he has a Raptor lift pump. He supposed to get back to me and let me know if anything gets figured out.
  3. Yep, one side's metric and you just flip it over for SAE. I labeled each side with my engraver.
  4. I'm sorry to hear about your wife, do you guys believe in the good boss above? A bit off topic, but I went down an bought a big combination metric and standard crescent wrench to unjam the nuts on my adjustable track bar. (Had to recenter the differential after having 1 inch lowering kit installed). I no longer have big behemoth arms like Mike Nelson to unjam lock nuts so had to use floor jack to push on wrench.. I got it adjusted perfect and had a peanut butter and jam sandwich and then nice stomach ache from too much jam (oozing while biting). It was good though. 015point9, what part is it on your truck are you doing the jam nut search for? I'm all elephant ears.
  5. JAG1 replied to GSP7's topic in General Conversations
    So where's the pictures?
  6. When I tried 'jamb' nut search it brought up a lot of different threads.
  7. JAG1 reviewed IBMobile's Cummins article in Electrical
    Thank you IBMobile
  8. Try searching 'jamb nut', sorta like dieselfuture he's always in a jamb. Ha ha
  9. I use a few 3 inch long bolts with the hex head cut off that fit into the pan bolt holes as a guide for the gasket and pan to go up in place. I do it that way to insure positioning of the gasket and not tear it. Seems to help anyway. I tighten the pan bolts using an inch pounds wrench since it's needed to adjust the bands anyway. I know they are more accurate and I tighten evenly in stages because the adjacent bolts will change the torque of the one next to it . A lot of times paying for the service in the past was a mistake because they would leak.
  10. Don't sweat it Mike. When I got done with the 18 month long project I had an overwhelming amount of loose ends around my place. Didn't know where to start so I just quit thinking about it and after 4 weeks of just following each item one at a time... the feeling of organized accomplishment became a reward. Some items needed fixing would relate to two other things before I could fix it so I just stuck with that wherever it lead, wherever I had to go, not leaving it there like so many times before. Of course I did not worry about time.... I threw all clocks in the chit can. BTW, if them clocks start to show their ugly face again, It'll be target practice time.
  11. I remember on a hot day while visiting she insisted we go get Milkshakes. That was real important to her that we go for milkshakes. Dang, she was right though.... they were really good. Dunno how moms have that intuition like that, I'll always remember that. No Dripley mine wasn't chicken flavored It was chocolate.
  12. Man I just love my two second gen 24's. Just love that purr....... I drove an electric thing one day and hated it, you couldn't tell it was running. Sheeballonies! no sound of rev nothin' It was way too weird for me. Everytime I get in mine its still like the first day I bought it. You know the dang things are for a man for sure, but guess who always wants to go in my trucks to go out for dinner.... yep, the wife. Everytime she says, can we go in your truck? I really like it she says and she is a real lady.
  13. Thanks Bullet at my age I need fast and easy. You and Dave110 are obsessed I have to get a bigger wrench for my track bar. Nice big crescent wrench
  14. At 68 gravity takes it's toll like everything's 5 times heavier, but you guys lighten it up for me.
  15. It's as if reverse gets fluids flowing enough so it won't stall. You might ask Dynamic if there is a different fluid that will help or if he has another idea to help with this problem. I like his work. BTW I drove IBMobile truck with the new Dynamic trans. Sheebees that thing puts the power to the road.... almost got to stand on it to get it slow down in idle.
  16. So the stalling is related to both, using more fuel than supplied at sudden idle and the transmission modifications being that there is less slippage to the torque convertor? Is that right?
  17. Even the shocks are right side up unlike the nuts on this forum Now how did we go from two inch spring spacers to fried chicken balls?
  18. They are up near Portland Raceway, called Central 4 Wheel Drive. They are in the same building as Baxter's Auto Parts. 503 283-1291. I even had coffee left when I got home. Hahaha.
  19. Southern fried chicken, chicken fried steak is the best. Need to adjust the track bar a bit. Just sprayed with some oil will try later. It's only offset a quarter inch but when loaded it will grow worse so trying to center it. Man what a pain..
  20. Well, I had it done, both sides for a total of 85 dollars. It's nice since the new spacers are rubber so the half inch factory rubber spring bushing did not have to be used. It's cool, I have more room to air up more if I like and the truck won't squat like a chicken over eggs. Sorry Dripley. Anyhow I like it much better, seems to handle better and the truck doesn't look like its trying to pull a wheelie in front. Thanks to all you guys your all welcome to come and sit watch me work and drink all the coffee Just a little note one place wanted 600, the next place wanted 300 and the last place I called wanted 85 and he was done in an hour like he said. They were nice people there. I have the two inch level kit for sale if interested. They are solid steel. not the hollow ones. Longer sway bar end links go with it.
  21. Im sorry this happened to you and glad I read about Rock Auto's bad customer service on another forum to be able to share too. Sometimes a small amount of information will help a lot of others. I suggest you change from just using the letters 'RA' to their full name Rock Auto so others doing a search can get the story too.
  22. Will you be getting number 2 Diesel Dog?
  23. If you guys could have ever met her... she is really a loss to all those who knew her. I know that she is in a place that can give her an unlimited happiness that this ol' world cannot ever do. Now healed from all worldly weight, pains and sickness, he has graduated to God's house. It's more beautiful than words can say. I know this because I have prayed with her when visiting there. I know she prayed for all of us regularly too. She is and always will be the sweetest MoparMom with a cowgirl hat in my heart.
