Pilothouse/RAM3500 build
I'd avoid concrete counters because concrete always shrinks with time as it cures and then cracks seem to appear later. I had a client that bought a home with a new sunroom added on. It had a concrete floor, but a tile floor was set over the concrete and over time the tile lifted like a bubble in the middle and when the new owner stepped out the tile sounded like a gun going off when it shattered. I had never seen anything like that when he showed me and we were all baffled as to why it happened, cause mid floor had lifted tile. not the perimeter. We had no other explanation except that the concrete had to shrink with time. Add that I have to guarantee work I do and you can see why I avoid concrete countertops.

Thinking about a 5th wheel or travel trailer
I bought my fiberglass clamshell camper new. It had the fix or repair every weekend syndrom for a number of years before there where no problems. I don't think they are as healthy inside with all that dusty carpet headliner starts breaking down over time. Then in winter them things build up condensation like you wouldn't believe. With any full timer you will need a dehumidifier to lower the moisture inside. Its better with thicker insulation and those fiberglass units only got 1 inch of foam most of 'em. Yes one inch mostly. I think your better off with a fully framed unit and 4 inch walls if you can. Some have that and you can tell buy how thick the windows are at the bottom.

IBMobile is correct.... you have to be very careful what you buy. Look for cream puff, been under cover by old guy that bought it new kind of thing. That will most likely get you a deal right there. Be patient, but have cash ready cause won't last long. Buy in winter if you can. Yak Yak Yak I must stop I sound like a duck.

I saw black walnut tree trunks milled flat and fit together every which way for counters. It was the coolest ever. The guy didn't get particular just fit every which way to make it work with each piece. Then he varnished it about 4 coats. Man that was nice to see. I wouldn't want the concrete cause it might crack making the lip or overhang on the edge. Too heavy, too boss. and having to deal with wire and rebar. I vote walnut for the wife. Boy is this thread ever hijacked. Sorry PilotHouse2500

Thinking about a 5th wheel or travel trailer
I have some a buddy that did that. He and his wife and two kids did just fine that way and saved up enough to pay cash for a house. He did side mechanical work for folks on Saturdays in the rv park where they where staying.

How to price high mileage Cummins?
I know Dripley is right these things have been holding value and most selling for more than Kelly B.B. I paid big city price, dropped to 16,000 from 20,000 for a very nice all option 01 with 190K on the clock. I'm happy to get it even though more than I should have spent.

Are the cosmetics real nice on it and in nice shape?

How to price high mileage Cummins?
What I did to compare pricing was go to Craigslist and figure what options and the shape it's in. If you want it to sell you only have to be a little bit more attractive than the rest of them and by being honest with folks. I get told quite a few horror stories about overpriced hidden garbage.

Wow nice expansive views. That would be nice to visit there and bet it's comfortable in winter. My mom moved to Scottsdale.... can you tell me if it's real rat race down around there? I only go where my rv goes and I don't ever wanna fly again.

Starts fine, runs strong, then stalls. restart only after fuel overflow valve reset
I don't think your troubles are like the time I had fluctuations in fuel pressure after going thru everything. Could not figure out what it was I had been thru both trucks fuel systems completely i.e. new Raptor pumps, draw straws, big line kits, removed tank basket screens, everything. Trucks didn't shut down, but 2-4 bounce with the fuel pressure. Then Mopar Man had me run the regulators pressure adjustment up and down a few times with the trucks running. That stopped the problem. Another Thought.... I've only heard of the tank vent cogging 4 times since reading the forums.... you might try running with the fuel cap loose see if the works. Just a maybe is all

I would say yes, he does have a fuel supply problem like dirt clogged fuel basket screens or cracked draw straw. He might still have the in tank lift pump and be trying to suck fuel thru that . I'd be inside the tank to look things over and have a new 1/2 inch draw straw and big line kit and pre lift pump filter ready to install. You know my raptor lift pumps on both trucks had a little screen inserted in the inlet side of the pumps. Came that way new and had to be removed and add a prefilter to protect the lift pump.

Be alert!
I'm hoping it all backfires on the Democratic party with record number of votes for Trump. Dems are weird promising all these benefits / entittlements when the only solution is to raise taxes to the stratosphere. All it does is help create a bunch of folks that continue to hide yearly income in order to keep their benefits. And then ones that can afford to pay, working like hell by comparison, only resent the intervention that brings higher taxes and rates, making you to work even harder and sometimes no longer able to stay in business. Folks working under the table not paying taxes and getting benefits are a compounded enemy..... able to undercut the honest guys and hurt a good portion of the good folks and furthering the debt. What I've seen with illegals is a big part of this bonanza for gov't money and skipping out of paying taxes when working. No one knows who they really are essentially. Anyway, sorry for the rant I did not want to become the crabby woodpecker .

Cool you know how to do that. So you get tired of excavating and then do some tree work. Nothin like variety and freedom in your work.
