  1. Gotcha @Mopar1973Man, makes perfect sense.
  2. @LorenS, I've been thinking of doing the same thing. I don't know my actual fuel Temps but with the pump I have its bypassing a lot more fuel than I'm using. Thinking about an inline regulator that dumps back to the tank. Maybe run the excess through a small filter? I don't know. Still pondering it
  3. That's ridiculous, another way to keep the racism argument going.
  4. After my recent knee surgery we decided to recuperate at the camp ground. We came out this past Friday afternoon and will be here until this coming Friday. Nice getting away from things for a bit.
  5. Unfortunately I don't have much experience with automatic transmissions or pacbrakes on these trucks, sorry.
  6. Yes sir, that's it. Install the injector bolt finger tight at most. Then cross over tube, this way the tube and injector will self align when you torque the cross over nut. I installed all injectors first (again only finger tight) then went back and installed the cross over tubes, torqued them and then torqued the injector hold downs. No leaks.
  7. I ran into that to. Not the out of stock issue but the length. They seem to have used several different lengths of cables back there. I tried to measure it once while on the truck. Nearly impossible to get an accurate measurement. Thought about just ordering what I thought was right and take a chance. Being it's a dually I don't want to have to take it all apart 2-3 times for the cable.
  8. I'm in need of the same cable. I looked at rock auto not long ago and they had them.
  9. Yesterday evening we had some storms roll through due to the heat and humidity. Our power was out for a few hours so we moved out to the camper and fired up the generator to avoid the heat. A/C in the camper works great. Took our T-mobile wifi thing and the Roku stick and watched a couple movies.
  10. Currently here it 86°, feels like temp is 97° humidity is at 78%. Pretty sticky outside.
  11. The past few days here it's been at or close to 90°f which is somewhat normal for August but the humidity has been very high, more than normal. Today's forecast is 88° and rain/storms. At the time of this post (6:20am) it's 73° and 98% humidity and raining.
  12. The current thermostat fan settings are only low or hi, no auto setting on this one. It's the old type with a spring in it that moves with the temp changes. Very analog. Lol
  13. I have to get the make and model number for our a/c. It has a very basic thermostat on it now. Just thought I'd upgrade it since I want to replace it anyway. The way it works now is the a/c fan will blow constantly but the compressor will cycle when the tstat calls for more cool air.
  14. So we have a 1994 Coachman 5th wheel. It has ducted a/c in the roof. It works fine, my goal is to change the thermostat for the HVAC to possibly digital. When I do this is there a way to have the a/c shut off when the compressor is not engaged? Presently the fan runs constant wether or not the compressor is engaged or not. I'd like to have the entire unit shut off if the compressor is not running if possible. I figured it would be a little more energy efficient that way and the noise from the fan running all the time would also be cut down quite a bit. To further this, is there a way to set up a "climate control" type thermostat to where a person could set the desired temperature and the thermostat would turn on either a/c or the furnace to achieve set temp? Just curious, I want to change the t-stat anyway as it's pretty old (oem to the camper) and question it's accuracy. Thought was, if I need to change it why not an upgrade? If it's going to be to involved to do I'll just leave it the way it is.
  15. Some people have the skills to do things like that. I'm not at that level. Lol

@Mopar1973Man, are you missing Beast yet? Lol
  17. I presently have both, my harley is a 2008 anniversary edition wide glide. Then there's my 1977 gold wing. Both great bikes are great in their own rite. Since buying the Harley though I rarely ride the gold wing so my daughter wants it. She just recently got her motorcycle endorsement, she came over last weekend and took it for a ride. She loved it. So it's now hers. I think she also wanted it because it was dad's bike. She's a bit of a daddy's girl. Lol I at least know she will take care of it.

Sounds about right as uhaul trucks go. I've never had or heard of a good experience with uhaul. Local stuff maybe but anything with some distance. Never.
  20. Surgery was today, it went well accord to my wife. She had a conversation with the doctor when I was still out like a light. Lol Pretty sore at the moment. Looking forward to getting back to somewhat normal. Once healed enough I want to start riding my bicycle for some low impact excise. It'll be at least a week before I can think about that though.
  21. We are currently at 91° with a "feels like" temp of 102°F . Chance of rain and or storm later this evening. Rain/storms tomorrow too.
  22. I would say the highlighted on is the one you need if you have a quad cab. The description even states " 2 full size doors plus extra room often with half doors behind" then it cuts off.
  23. That's my plan is to take some time to heal. I can't stay off work for to awful long but don't want to go back to soon either. The meniscus is the cartilage pad between your thigh bone and the shin bone in you knee. A pad for lubrication of the joint and padding to help absorb shock. We will be heading to the camp ground 9 days after the surgery, might as well be in recovery there so I'm not tempted to go outside at home and start working on something. Lol
