Sad to say this hard to put into text on the forum. Christmas Day I was working around the house and thought I picked up a UTI of some sort. It got worse through the evening. The next morning its started to clear then turned into I can't urinate. I drove to the hospital and found out I've got a tumor in my bladder partially blocking the right ureter. Never the less I was outfitted with a catheter and sent home with an appointment for a specialist in Meridian, ID. The ran the camera in me and sure enough, there is a fair size growth. The plan is by next Wednesday to have it removed.

I'm going be out of action for a while. Anyone local to me I would like to ask for assistance if possible. My Great BoD's here are going to have to pick up the operation of the site for a while.

I'm alive and well for the most part. Shaken by this, Oh hell Yes! The huge burden of trying to take care of myself and MoparMom dialysis. Then the mental stress of it being possibly cancer. Today I'm going to try and just as much as possibly gain some strength so I can just keep trucking. I've got to keep rolling for MoparMom's sake.

Again I'm tapping @BrianAtSmarty for the day of my operation being I will be in the hospital for at least two days. He's going to put us up at his place and shuttle MoparMom on my days I'm down.

Sorry to hear about this my friend. Went thru something similar with an enlarged prostare. Was on a road trip when my urine flow stopped. Ended up in a hospital and got catherized twice cause they screwed the first one up. Ended up getting a precedure called TURP if remeber that right. More affectionately known as "roto rooter". I will let your imagintion run with that. No cancer fortunatley as I hope yours turns out. Not fun to think about. Both of you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Wishing you a speedy and clean recovery.

Sorry to hear that Mike, hopefully it's nothing serious. Getting old sucks, I've been slowly falling apart myself and refuse to go to doctors, at least for now. A good diet, sleep, minimal stress is what we all need. And of course it's not always in our schedule. We tend to go and go until something big happens and only then we're willing to make a change, part of being human I guess. Healthy life style can and will cure most of anything. But it is us that need to make it happen. Get well.

Yeah, I'm that way. Not much stops me typically.

Absolutely. That one thing both @MoparMom and I agree on. After yesterday we were so happy to get away from the city and the craziness. Go home last night driving in a snow flurry. Got home and made my nest on the couch just trying to unwind. I feel better now that I've had breakfast, a shower and got dressed and feeling a bit more normal.

I'll admit that my blood pressure been up every time they get me in the office (white coat syndrome). Like I told Mom I've got to get my mind right and keep heading forward. It doesn't help when your stress out about yourself and MoparMom, driving in snow, trying to keep schedules and dealing with traffic.

That was my next suggestion, you're on the right track. Stay away from big farma if possible.

100% Absolutely agree... I understand most doctors are kind of back and forth about medical weed. There is more than getting stoned. The CBD family is more of the medical side of thing compared to the THC side which most people want to get stoned. Truthful there is benefits from both families of weed.

I'm not shy about the idea at all. It's my body, my choice. To be totally honest that is one of the few reasons why I never was a big alcohol drinker because of the effect alcohol took away my mental abilities. I always thought the same about weed. I've listened to several on this but never got into it because I was healthy. Now the story changed and time to be proactive on healing as much as I can herbalistic and naturally as much as I can. I know I'm still got to go in and get the growth removed but... Why rely on big pharma?

Keep you in my prayer's Mike. I just went to VA last month, haven't been to a Doc in 3 yr's now they have appt's set for a multitude of things. I had that camera up into bladder back then, they found non-cancerous lesions, now labs came back with blood in urine again, so they want to take another look, keeping fingers crossed.

Oh shoot Mike, that's rough. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that things go well. Your a major figure in allot of people's lives. I hope that you get better after the operation, and to comment, even my dad (35 year Doctor) doesn't agree with big pharma. There's much to that as well.

Even for me when I blew out that disk in my spine, all of that oxycodone they gave me may have taken the pain away, but I still think I'm missing some parts of my brain from that stuff.

If you need anything you can reach out to me in Jersey. I'll do what I can over the next month or two.

Sorry to hear about that but take it easy for a while. I was layed up 2 months ago and not being able to do the things that you think need to be done is miserable. I am getting by and only doing what is needed although slower but being someone who is always done things my self it makes me crazy that I cant yet. Keep your spirits up and dont be ashamed to ask for help when needed, there are a lot of good people around and I am sure they would be happy to do what they can for you and MPMOM.

Best wishes to you and thanks from all of us for all that you do.
