Does anyone have a picture diagram explaining how to tap into the fuel pump relay wire and where? New to these wires and not sure what wire I'm looking for. I'm trying to install a kill switch on my 2001 2nd gen cummins.

Here it goes...first new topic! Well I finally ordered a FASS150 and a draw straw 5 yesterday from DAP! I have a 2000 2500 5speed 4x4 unfortunately with Dodge's intank pump "fix". I'm looking to tap into the wealth of knowledge here to see if anyone has any tips or tricks for the install? Past experience or things anyone may have done differently? Thanks in advance for any advice everyone!

After MUCH wading through and reading I found this installation instruction manual for the Cummins/Fleetguard model CH41102 Centrifual Bypass Oil Filter which apparent is the correct filter for use on our 5.9 and 6.7 liter truck engines. Hope this and the training tutorial I posted helps to shine a bit more light and understanding of just how and why these filters work and the tremendous benefits they offer. http://www.fleetguard.com/pdfs/product_lit/americas_brochures/SB_LT32597.pdf

Just thought I would let yall know that I installed a FTE resonator RM4430A on my 2001 3500 with 4" straight thru with 5"elbow to 8" miter cut stack and it is well worth the money!!!! I honestly thought I liked the sound without it, but traveling over 100 miles a day towing our company trailer the dreaded drone got to me. I can finally talk, hear the radio(without turning it way up!), and hear myself think!...lol By the way I am no sales person for them, but had to give them credit where credit is due.:thumbup2: __________________ 2001 Dodge duallie 24 valve with 110 injectors, tst power max/stacked smarty, 3 piece header, HX35, Banks high rise intake,AirDog 165, ope…

I try to be proactive towards the maintenance of my truck rather than reactive..... Knowing that the OEM Bosch alternator had almost 120k miles on it, I felt that not only was it probably going to give me DC troubles in the near future but I was also sure that I was most likely experiencing some AC issues as well, especially during the cold morning and hot summer weather. Why I say that....? I've tested my AC voltage before during the summer and it was within "spec", but still I thought the readings were higher than I'd like. So I recently tested again before installing the Nations unit just to confirm and what I got was about .044 during idle. Yes t…

So I had a annoying slight surge when not under load at highway speeds. I did some research on this and a few other sites and ordered up a Timbos APPS. It got here in only 4 DAYS. I couldn't believe it. I can't get stuff here from Calgary in 4 days and thats only 200 miles away. Anyway got it installed, surge is totally gone and it feels like the first half of throttle is crisper now too. Great instructions and packaging too. Thanks TIMBO!!!

Yesterday I installed a boost gage on my truck. One wire needed to be connected to a 12v ignition power wire. I spliced the wire into the red wire coming down from the ignition. When I did this sparks ignited. I disconnected the splice but now when I try and start the truck there is no power. Nothing. Any ideas out there? Thanks for the time fellas.

Now when the truck sits longer than 12-24 hrs I have to bleed the injectors to get it to start. I have not seen fuel leaking anywhere. Once I bleed the injectors the truck starts and runs fine. If I try starting it even after sitting 1-6hrs it starts just fine. I have not had the stock lift pump engaged its purely running the mechanical lift pump right now. Has anyone had this issue? 1998.5. This was the first mod I did to it. I did a ISS pro gauge and big line kit to the vp44 at the same time as the mechanical LP.

While bleeding my rear brakes in the spring I noticed that the back of my muffler had rusted out and the section of pipe going over the axle was dangling by the hangers. I bought a 4" Diamond Eye w/no muffler and a FTE 4"X30" Resonator. I also bought a few preformed band clamps from FTE, I wasn't sure how many I would need, I ordered 8. The old system came out easy, I sprayed the bolts securing the downpipe to the turbo with PB Blaster a couple of times before starting the install. And I had no problem getting them out. The exhaust kit was great, all of the hangers in the kit were correct. The resonator does come with band clamps on each side, I didn't re…

Just spent the afternoon installing most of the Edge w/Attitude on my 2002 Dodge. Most of it was pretty easy but getting to some of the sensor plugs was not real easy, and one of them was hidden under the LP pump.I did not hook up the sensors for the VP-44, transmission temp and EGT. Ran out of time to drill the exhaust manifold for the EGT and will do it later. I have a 6 speed manual tranny so not real worried about the transmission temps. As well I never tow anything (yet) so feel that the temps are fine. As for the VP-44 wire, want to drive it in the #1 setting for a while and see how it does. As I do not tow am not looking for lots more power and the wire to the VP is…

I just received and installed my Timbo APPS and did everything the instruction said and watched his videos as well. Then when I started the truck it quickly jumped up to around 1000 rpm and didn’t drop. Tried to recalibrate once again and it still is idleing high. Please help as this is my only vehicle currently.

I ve always told myself if the raptor ever gives up I'm going with a mechanical pump, and so the other day it started giving me fits and loosing pressure, I tried to adjust pressure up but the electric motor just barley running and sound sick so I just gave up on it, and ordered a fuel boss from GDP. My plan is to keep the plumbing as simple as possible, by eliminating a back up electric pump altogether, just dont see a need for it, and if I ever have to prime I will just use the cordless drill method like on filter changes or something. (also going to stick with the factory block mounted fuel filter for heating purpose) So I plan on tapping in on the 1/2" line from …

I got a quote for $417 shipped for a Fass 150. Includes reloacation kit. No filters. I want to use my existing filter system on the block. Will the standard kit allow for this or will I need additional parts? Can I eliminate all banjo fittings? Need to make sure I get all the parts ahead as nothing is available locally and I'll need the truck for my work week.

To start with make sure you have the supplies to complete the install: 1. Wire crimpers and strippers 2. Wire connectors 3. Gauge pod for the steering wheel 4. electrical tape 5. Add-a-circuit fusible tap 6. Tons of zip ties 7. Wire connectors with a round end for a screw or bolt 8. Two sided tape (Usually comes with gauge mount) 9. Fuses 10. Sockets, screwdrivers, dikes, razor blade Next the install! 1. Take the front knee board off and set it to the side without losing the screws 2. Run the wires for the fooler through the gauge pod 3. At this step you can either use the supplied glue to hold the fooler tight against the mount, or you ca…

I am planning on getting a blank new ECM from Chrysler, as I can get it for wholesale, a mere $1003.00 before tax. :spend:FYI all, the ECM listed on RockAuto is not the Cummins ECM, its the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), thankfully RockAuto takes returns. :smart:Then, if the ECM install goes well, I am getting a set of the Bosch RV 275 injectors. Then, if the truck runs well, I am going to put my edge back on.Then, I am going to fix the control arms. Then, ... it never ends does it. :lmao:Has anybody installed an ECM before? Anybody have issues that I could be facing? I am planning on buying it new, supposedly "blank" and having a mechanic friend of mine with a curre…

I am installing a new Edge Juice with Attitude in my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. The kit comes with a new Boost Elbow, but my turbo has the hard line between the tubo and the waste gate actuator. All it said in the manual is that on some trucks you can't install the elbow. What affect will this have? I read something in a thread about installing a turnbuckle on the WGA, but when I searched for more information, noting came up. I am assuming that you are installing it on the rod from the WGA to the WG and using the turnbuckle to adjust the psi the WG opens at. Is this worth doing? The truck is basically stock, BHAF and 4" exh but no other HP mods. Thanks for any help …
