I have some fluid leaking at the brake pedal and dripping on my husky liners. Coming from the fire wall brake pedal rod? Power steering fluid? Time for a reseal on the hydrobooster?

I need to buy a better volt meter because my alternator is going out and I want t measure AC voltage on the replacement before leaving the store. I don't want to spend the money on a Fluke and am looking at an innova 3340. Will this work?

Hello everyone my Name is Mike. I have an 01 Dodge 3500 w/453000 miles. Having an issue with alternator not putting the required voltage to the batteries. after numerous alt exchanges and no improvement Im at a loss.When the alt is not putting the required 13.5 volts the a/c compressor quits working.

Ive got a 24 valve 98 and I was driving down the road and I heard what sounded like a "pop" in my stacks and my truck died. It bounced around at a couple hundred RPM's before it died but NO response from the pedal at all. My truck has the fuel pump in the tank and the vp44 and thats it. No motor mounted lift pump. I have plenty of fuel up to and after my fuel filter canister but nothing coming out of the vp44. I pulled the very first injector line off but I have no fuel at all there. I THINK my vp44 took a ____ on me and Im in a real bad place right now. I cant afford a grand for a pump. Is there a way to test it and make sure it IS in fact the vp44 before I buy one? It w…

98 2500 CTD QC Latch that holds the quad door window closed separated from the window glass. Latch seems intact, but has anyone tried to reattach latch to glass? It looks like they used epoxy or somethin at the factory. Any help, ideas appreciated. Thanks, Dave.

Leveling my truck in the next coming few months and looking for some input on the parts I have selected right now. The truck is a 98.5 QCLB 2500 SRW 3.55 gears, it's my daily for the most part and tows a 30' gooseneck with 2 jeeps on the back a couple weekends a month. The most off road it sees is the occasional muddy parking lot at the off road parks. Wheel and tire set up I've chosen is to keep my 17" 3rd gen wheels and pick up some 35x12.5" Toyo AT2's. Looking to avoid running any sort of spacer if I can keep my tires from rubbing the control arms. Tried epoxy to fix my broken tabs x3 on my pillar. Worked well till I parked truck outside and come back later to see it not attached anymore . Gonna try one more time to secure it, but I need to start looking for a new A pillar. Any thoughts, comments, advise on picking up a new one? If this mask BS goes away maybe go to a junk yard, but around here might not be so lucky. Rather see if some company had them NIB I could get.

So I built a custom truck and had buddy of mine do wiring on it and he hacked it all up. So there are like 4 wires he cut on the in cab harness and I can’t find any where they go, but I noticed the brown clip in the back of fuse panel is missing now. Idk if it was ever plugged in but can someone tell me if it is needed thank you

Anyone know the size of the rear passenger ebrake cable for drum brakes is? I'd take it off and measure it but seeing how this truck is my daily I can't really take it off and measure it or I'll be without. Anything helps, thanks!

Who here is familiar with these cars? I have never owned one though VERY intrigued by how they are built to last a LONG time or longer. I know we have the engine (12 or 24v for arguments sake) but what body is over built enough to truly hold up to a million miles? Love to get this conversation started.. Hey guys so my ABS module is shot, i tried a rebuild company that i found on here called module masters and after them having it for a full 7 days they called me today to tell m they can not fix it and i would have to try and find a used one. Any body have a clue where i can find one? Its for my 99 Ram 2500 Diesel

I think I could use a new truck... Seems like anytime I get in to drive my truck anymore, a gremlin has to come out of it. Winter decided to rear its ugly head and the switch got flipped. Suddenly, I'm getting DUMPED on with snow. No way im driving the little passat. So I jump in the truck, drive it to work yesterday morning. Now I get a little show on my dash of my speedo dancing around and the ABS and brake like coming on. It'll come on, turn off. Back and forth. I ordered a speed sensor for the transmission and rear diff. Which one could it be? Or is it something else?

I happened to come across this video on YouTube and found it very informative. I'm guilty of some of the mistakes show in the video, I never gave it much thought before.

Hi everyone. I replaced my pillar gauges yesterday with all new isspro ev series gauges. My old ones still worked but they were all miss-matched. Anyway, I had an auto meter pyro before. I hooked the new pyro up just like the old one was and according to the instructions. I did just use the same thermo probe though. I have no reading at all on the gauge. Does anyone know if I need a new probe? Or what the problem might be? Thanks!!!

Got in the the truck this morning, stuck the key in and off she went. Stopped and bought coffe got in and the key went in about 2/3rds of the way and got stiff. I had play with it and push in to get it to turn. Figured as many starts as she has on her it is time for a new switch. I also noticed that the turn signals can now be turned on with the out of the key in the switch. So I am thinking whatever electrical switch it operates must be showing it's wear also. Anything else in there that y'all know about that might ought to replace whilst I am in there? Or maybe I am barking up the wrong tree?

00 2500 4x4 quad cab so I had to replace my heater core it was leaking replaced the evaporator core as well the ac never worked when I bought truck figured while I was replacing those I would do the liquid line and the drier as well everything seems to be operating right compressor is cycling but still not getting cold air in cab I checked blend door it is operating correct I believe any help would be appreciated I have no gauges also
