  1. Check for error codes because a P0381 would be a blow WTS bulb...
  2. Windows and doors open during the night to bring in all the cool air. Like this morning its 61*F which feels nice for me. Here in about hour or so the sun will rise over the mountain and we draw the window shade and close up the windows and doors.
  3. It's now 8:58 MDT... Its 79*F outside and 84*F inside and I'm still sticking to this vinyl chair... It truly hot and sticky...
  4. Todays weather stats for Mopar1973Man...High of 99*FLow of 60*F...and it's still 87*F in the house right now.. No A/C here...

  6. Ugh... OMG! It hot as hell here now... The high mark made 100*F today and its currently 98*F with a thunderstorm brewing up...
  7. I really don't understand the wider tire thing... I dumped my stock 265/75 R16 and went to a 235/85 R16 for lighter tire. This was for MPG reasons. For every 4 pounds of tire you add to the truck your required 1 more HP to keep the truck rolling.

  11. Why I got super cold A/C in the trucks... With this kind of temperatures outside. I is a chillin'
  12. Flexing is BAD. Have you check the trailer for weights lately?
  13. Trailer tires should never wear a tapper like that. Thin on the outside and thick on the inside. You might call around to truck shops too that can straighten trailer axles. The only way I know to create that tapper is either...* Bent axle* Trailer isn't sitting level while towing (front to rear)
  14. Like I said come to Idaho... Hex0rz... http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Sandpoint&state=ID&site=OTX&textField1=48.2767&textField2=-116.552&e=0 Mopar1973Man http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=45.24525270653619&lon=-116.3321042060852&site=mso&unit=0&lg=en&FcstType=text
  15. Between 0*F and 32*F I'm happy... T Shirt and jeans weather.Below 0*F its time to get out the winter clothes...Anything above 60*F is hot and its time for shorts and a tank top.100*F+ weather its time to go hide in the river or basement of the house.
  16. Ummm.... Ok I'll dive in on this one... Which axle is this happen on the most? (Front or Rear) What it looks like is happening is either the trailer is not sitting level on the truck or the axle is bent.
  17. Barely made 82*F...Oh... Diesel here locally is 3.599 not bad for being in the sticks...
  18. John... Geez you should know better. Well I guess you unhitched and went back into town with a couple of flat tires.Ummm... You do know that trailer tires are not rated for speeds over 65 MPH right?
  19. Come to Idaho... (Note: the time is screwed up on the clock I noticed its AM when its supposed to be PM... :banghead:)Out the front door...
  20. It's been over 15 years for me and I don't think I can get my wet suit on anymore. :ahhh:I'd still love to drive my Cummins out on the beach and enjoy the sea smell again...
  21. Thanks Haggar... Enjoy a few beers or drinks... But be safe everyone...
  22. Hmmm... I can say much of the present yet... But I can speak for my past! Poe Cabin fire - Taking a moment from the heat of the day. Manning my great Ford 550 engine. Poe Cabin fire was a lightning strike fire that started near a historic cabin and was mismanaged (in my opinion) and a lot of damaged was done. Watching a tree torch off. Very wicked experience! (Poe Cabin fire) I can post tons of pictures and such of past fires I've word for the 6 years of service. Spotting Heaven's Gate Fire with the Engine 11... (My fav little diesel truck!)
  23. Don't I wish... I love to be parked there and scuba diving off the beach... :cry:Truck looks good though...
  24. When a battery has been discharged after a heavy load like starting typically it should take longer for the voltage to return to full state. So when a battery has been discharged and bounces back to 14 volts rapidly I start to worry because the battery truly isn't charging any longer. So load testing is the best thing to do. As for the cables I would do the voltage load test on them too to verify they are passing the power to the starter with resistance in the middle. http://articles.mopar1973man.com/general-cummins/34-engine-system/136-voltage-drop-testing-of-wiring-and-feed-cables
