  1. It's possible but typical the error code should be with it too...
  2. Wow quite the story there... I' glad it working out for ya... You might dive into front brakes next chance you get...
  3. Yes... Why else would you be hanging around here... Like Dripley here he's great guy to talk to on the phone. You can talk shop and then BS for another hour easy. But Mopar1973Man Web Site is mostly about the "Common Joe" person that want to just keep his truck running. Don't care about HP/TQ and racing it all about making from A to B and back to A everyday without failures...
  4. I just ran through the member ride and pick out a few more working truck pics... The show and shine pics are boring and there are so many of them... But now the working truck that is dirty, hauling trailers, and working every day now that says a thousand words...
  5. Hang in the Rogan... You remember my ball joint adventure...http://forum.mopar1973man.com/threads/4147-Ball-Joints-Nightmare! http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2892&d=1306952761&thumb=1http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2894&d=1306952792&thumb=1http://forum.mopar1973man.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2893&d=1306952776&thumb=1
  6. Yeap sounds like a bad sender...
  7. Southbend Con OFE is holding up really good to towing and hauling stuff...
  8. Welcome to the family of Cummins nuts... :cool:I'm sure you can ask all kinds of questions and someone here can for sure help you out. I can promise you no one here will bite... At the worst you might get slobbered on... We are all good family here...
  9. Don't want to get to carried away with pressure you don't want to start popping the oil nozzles out of the block...
  10. I tend to look at the warranty coverage of the pump. I look to see who has the best warranty coverage (time and mileage). Then looking deeper I look at see if they have to inspect the pump before coverage or do they just send a new pump? If a shop has to inspect the pump first before replacement 99% of the time will void warranty because they found rust, sand, broken parts, etc. So I'm more interrested in the warranty than what they change or don't change. Because if you do have a problem and they void the warranty you thousand dollars more broke again... :smart:Secret... All VP44 have to be place on a calibration machine which is over $600,000.00... Each and every VP44 must be calibrated and timed before released for sale. So I know that all pumps have been bench tested to some degree before going back out the door. :smart:Another secret... I know there is very few of these calibration machines in the US. So not everyone got one... The ones that don't have a test bench has to send pumps out to other companies to have them bench calibrated. A way of weed out the truth is asking if the calibrate the pump on site or do they ship them off.
  11. HRVP44 is roughly +40 HP... Edge Comp tapped is +120 HP so it like have 3x time the amount of power of a HRVP44... Now but a untapped Edge Comp is the same power of a HRVP44 +40 HP...
  12. Then you don't want to see my weather then... http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?site=boi&textField1=45.24133&textField2=-116.33183 Then the weather at my wood cutting hole... http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=45.44953407110632&lon=-116.46812438964844&site=boi&unit=0&lg=en&FcstType=text Then so others can see what your talking about... http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ewx/?n=drought.html
  13. By chance who did you find on CF in RI???
  14. All I can say JL Welding is pray...
  15. Jumpjg you'll be happy with the Edge Boost Elbow it works good and limits to right at 34-35 PSI max... Works really good!
  16. So more than likely the VP44 is shot...
  17. All about save a the few penies here and there. :duh:I say build it right the first time...
  18. I agree with AH64ID you got a injector giving you troubles... But the front seal thing on the VP44 is rather rare...
  19. Done... I tend to trust the mechanical gauge more so...
  20. From what I can remember of doing mine long ago is the Double Cardan joint has a spring in the middle so don't forget that. Make sure to grease that center joint too.
  21. Did you set the fuel type to Gas? or Diesel? Did you Set the displacement to match you other vehicle? Did you set the fillup Offset for this vehicle? Like mine is 24% offset and Mom's 96 Gasser is a 233% offset. Did you set the tank size?
  22. Not really going to be able to check valves and seats with this... Because only one cylinder maybe open for air pressure. As for pressure I only used 5-6 PSI because the clamp wasn't strong enough.
  23. Well don't believe the oil pressure gauge (Stock)... But I did buy me a cheap plumbing pressure gauge and a tee and check mine at idle and was seeing 60 PSI. Even though the stock gauge shows below 40 PSI at idle.
  24. I thought it was bad when mine exploded and just about gave my buddy a 3rd nut...
