The start of a good engine build
All you gotta do is hook up with me I'll teach you all I know. The biggest thing is being willing to pick up where I leave off anf continue to teach yourself. Because if I based it only on the degree I got from ITT Tech back in the day I would be lost today. When I went to college the Intel 8088 processor was just coming out for general public use. Here I am today self-taught server admin. Who would of thunk right?

Soldering Cables
Might be but when finding true lead/tin solder is getting tough. At least for me locally. All this EPA safe stuff is a joke.

Soldering Cables
I was just using acid core flux on doing my alternator cable. The flux is what cleans the wire metal to make the solder weld to the wire. The flux part typically is an acid material to remove all oxidation on the wire. No. Typically yes. Again the flux part is to make the solder bind to the wire metal. Has nothing to do with corrosion protection.

New ecm, no power at all

Dec. 11, 2018 was my first night of running the 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 215 tires on snow. All I can say is WOW! These things really bite the pavement even with a snow-covered highway. It snowing pretty good on the way home that little 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 ran great with the 215/85 R16 tires. Came to Fort Hall Grade and was count all the car and truck slid off the highway there were 6 vehicles all slid off the highway most with wide tires. I was still running 2WD. After seeing about 3 of then I pull the transfer case into 4WD. Still, in all, I was still cruising 45 to 50 MPH and it was snow good. Broke over the top of the grade and down the backside still awesome control. Grabbed the O/D off button let the truck unwind down the grade. Hit the bottom of the valley and went back to overdrive and 45 to 50 MPH speeds. This is the best this little truck has ever run in the snow!- Newbie to IQuad V2 Display questions
If you go back to the "default tune" then the loading of the tune process doesn't happen.- Optimum fuel pressure?
Then you might look here... Then installing the field wire fuse..,- Optimum fuel pressure?
Here watch the video...- Optimum fuel pressure?
Alternator AC Noise issues. This is where the W-T ground mod is handy.- Optimum fuel pressure?
I'll have to pull my shop pump out and show you in a picture. I'll do that in the morning. Raining here now.- Newbie to IQuad V2 Display questions
Then there is no display adjustment. The only one that has the color adjustment is the iQuad display which as far as I know isn't released yet.- Optimum fuel pressure?
I'm not sure of the revision number but older pumps had the rubber diaphragm where the 027 has the steel plate. Then the timing piston sleeve was brass in the past where the 027 is a hardened steel sleeve now. All parts in the 027 are hardened steel.- Newbie to IQuad V2 Display questions
Did Quadzilla release the displays? If so I'm not sure how to help you being I've got no knowledge of the Quad Display...- Newbie to IQuad V2 Display questions
No display adjustments at this time.- Quadzilla display project
From what I understand is @Quadzilla_Stephen is no longer there it just @Quadzilla Power by himself working the shop. He's short the help and expect it to take time to get to the next step. Just gotta hang in there.- Optimum fuel pressure?
Wow! If that is true you got Rev 026 pump. As for the serial number I'm not sure. HO pumps are high pressure, low volume pumps good for MPG use. Then SO pumps are high volume, lower pressure pumps good for building HP/TQ.- New ecm, no power at all
Now If you've done the W-T ground wire mod then the major grounds are done. The rest are all secondary systems like lights and such.- 2 gauges / one sending unit
1/8 inch air brake line is typically rated for 600 PSI burst pressure. I seriously doubt a little 14 to 20 PSI pump will cause any issues.- Optimum fuel pressure?
You can use a mirror and look at the data plate on the pump to see what rev you have.- Optimum fuel pressure?
15 to 17 PSI on the last VP44 for 243k miles... 1/4 of a million miles is pretty good in my book.- Optimum fuel pressure?
Lie... Doesn't exist in the Rev 027 pumps. Steel plate. Rubber diaphragm doesn't exist... Everything inside the VP44... Optimal Fuel pressure: 14-20 PSI. This keeps the overflow valve open and return fuel moving.- Throttle required to start
Just done the same thing on an 1997 Dodge 2500 in Brogan, OR so the owner didn't have to hold the throttle and/or plug in on cold mornings.- Mopar hd steering box on a 2nd gen?
