  1. Coming Soon™ You have to understand software and the "Coming Soon" quote with the trademark.
  2. Here it is... $871 worth of machine work. http://northwestmotormachine.com/ Talk to Justin
  3. I'm sure @dripley is happy you are not eating his kin. Thanks for the donation.
  4. What error codes did you have? I'm pretty sure those sensors can be viewed on a live data tool and see if there functional.
  5. Absolutely... Once you put that much heat into the rotor it's going to radiate into the unit bearing cooking the grease. This is why I'm a big fan of manual transmissions and exhaust brakes. Automatics can do well too but with 4 gears it hard to get a selection of gear that prevents long brake usage I've got this problem with mt 96 Dodge half ton with the 46RE transmission.
  6. I know Smarty / Mads Electronics doesn't have any deleted tunes either. For the same reason. In any case it's tough to find a tuner now that has delete functions for removing the stock exhaust.
  7. Must be part of the loose nut behind the wheel problem. Everything is on the driver side that is an issue maybe the driver? Hmmm... Seriously if you ever make it to the west side I want a shot at that truck. I bet I can straighten that mess out once and for all.
  8. Lets put it this way don't get all wrapped up in finding Timken bearing. Let's just say the all fail just the same so why spend more money on a brand that will fail just the same way. I've been running SKF bearings and get roughly 150k to 180k from a set of unit bearings.
  9. Since the first flush. If it wasn't for the external rusting of the input shaft on my OEM steering box I'd still have it today. Still working with my OEM power steering pump. Zero wear was inside the steering gearbox and very clean with zero sludge.
  10. Tone ring broke loose. Same problem I had with mine once I replace both unit bearings as a pair ABS light is gone.
  11. Well first off I've got to Thank a forum member... But first the story... After going back and forth with it not going to be ready today to being ready at 3:30pm. I finally got ahold of MoparMom and told her we'll be going after the head when she is done with dialysis treatment. After an one hour drive to the shop. I'm greeted by Justin telling me... "Whatever your doing and the friends you have you better keep doing what you are doing." I'm very puzzled to this comment. Justin tosses the invoice on the counter and sure enough one of the members here made a payment on my bill. That member happens to be @portlandareae28 . It shocked the heck out of me. The comment I heard from Justin that Portlandareae28 has been very pleased with the help I've given him and he wanted to return the favor. Sir, you are a saint thank you from the bottom of my heart. 18 Valve guides 24 Valve seals Pressure test Resurfaced deck My Total $871.25
  12. Actually I got lucky it got finished up today. Ill post more when I get home.
  13. Your hearing the rollers and shoes rattling around typically the fuel pressure would load the rollers and shoes against the cam ring. Totally normal.
  14. Dang. I'm delayed. I've got to do a second trip back down to Caldwell, ID on Friday to get the head.
  15. Ask yourself the question would you wash the oil filter and reuse it? I sure wouldn't.
  16. Check your plugs for heat damage. The last one I looked at the blower motor pigtail was lightly melted and contact were heat stressed. After the own replace it worked fine.
  17. Output speed sensor is in the tailshaft area of the transmission. As for @Dynamic that's why I keep tagging him hopefully he responses or you could send private message to him.
  18. I've got to public say "Thank You" to @dieselautopower and staff for pulling off the shipping in a timely manner so I had all the parts here for putting the head back on the truck. Gasket kit showed yesterday and the studs as well. Jacob and staff "Thank You" for the quick service and getting the parts here in a quick fashion.

Gasket kit showed yesterday and the studs as well. Jacob and staff "Thank You" for the quick service and getting the parts here in a quick fashion. Now I just got to go get the head from Northwest Machine today and bring it home.
  20. I say give it a try. You won't be sorry. The RPM difference is small but the economy and power difference is pretty moderate.
  21. Can relocate the pump. That particular pump has a small discharge port designed to use a banjo bolt. He would need a normal Raptor first.
