Prayers Please for MoparMom
Mom is due to be transfers to rehab facility still here in Boise. The doctor wants to keep a close eye on her kidneys. I'll be heading home Friday again. Supplies are getting thin for me also since she is leaving St. Lukes I'll lose my spot for the RV. I'm not worried at least Mom is out of danger.

So far so good. Just that winter weather is coming and eventually force me home. Remember I've got wood fire heat at home. Just going one day at time for now. I'm back down here with Mom now.

Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 Testing
Because Quadzilla uses the timing values from the ECM and adds to it. The ECM gets its timings from ECT and IAT temperatures. Colder temperatures means more timing, higher cetane fuels means quicker reacting fuel, so stacking more timing could be too much in the winter. The MPG fooler foops the ECM to thinking summer temps so the Quadzilla adds timing to slightly less advancement. This reduces the excessive cold start timing in winter. Also reduces the heavy rattle knocking noises.

Injectors
The only reason I would suggest an independent test, that way you either got 2 shops reporting the same issue or now you got two different stories which should raise questions on who is telling the truth. Just my way of validating the injectors and prevent issues.
-
Injectors
Maybe you should come to Idaho. I've been to their shop many times and every time they walk me back to the test bench and pop test the injectors for free. They only check for spray, pissy injectors and what they pop at. Beyond that if I want them tuned now they cost the $9 an injector to be tuned. Typically they suggest just replacement because you can buy injectors for lower price fully assembled than buying nozzles and rebuilding and pop tuning again. Idaho Diesel Tech is a really good shop and rebuilt a Ford 7.3 injection pump for $300 bucks. As for time invested they can pop test all 6 injectors in under 10 minutes typically. Very fast. Done right in front of me.

Vp44 would this issue guys
Just got to un-plug the pump and repair the wiring as needed. I don't see any reason to pull the pump for a wiring repair.

Morning Pic For Today...........Post A Pic around your place.....
Really easy to do with all the water behind the house. 118 PSI at the faucet and can run 8 rainbird sprinklers and water the entire yard in a single night. Hillside is really dry, most of the bushes are completely void of leaves now. That's why it looks kind of bare on the mountain.

You need to ensure all the wires are repaired and not shorting to each other, shorting to ground or any kind of power. Hint... The truck will start and run with just power to the injection pump but no throttle response. So the data wires must be in good shape as well as the high idle and shut down leads.

Prayers Please for MoparMom
Mom's comment is that everyone is very friendly and are taking care of her very well. She is meeting all kinds of people and she enjoying the different people and social contact at this point. She understands they are there to build her strength up and get her going. No complaints from Mom on being fussed over. I'm sorry for having short posts during the start of this. I was confined to the use of my cell phone while I was there in Boise. I wanted to take the laptop over to hospital but never really had time. My cellphone was a very important tool and I used it quite a bit during that week. Same time frustrating attempting to type on a small screen with huge fingers and misspelling all the time. I figured when I got home I could post good long explanations of what was happening. I'll continue to keep everyone posted and updated.

Brake load sensing valve
I would tie it up position. Another thing you could do is just out right remove the valve and tie the brake line together again. One of Dodge's great ideas that lasted a year or two at the best and ended up quit installing these valves. Like I said you can just remove the valve and just couple the lines together like all the other trucks are which don't have this valve.

Prayers Please for MoparMom
If it wasn't for all my training in the Fire Dept I would of lost my head a long time ago. I've got to thank Salmon River Rural Fire Dept and Allan & Melanie Yearsley my Fire Chief for everything they taught me over the years. So as for Mom she even made the comment that she was shocked about how much I've got done and how fast I was ploughing through all the paperwork and kept going forward. I'm going to be smart and take some time to myself and stop at Sherri's place on my way back down. I also need a bit of down time from all this stuff. As for myself, it's a huge lifestyle change. I'm used to having Mom there to take care of some of the tasks around the house like cooking and paying some of the bills. Where the rest of the tasks were on me like fixing the trucks, maintain the yard, etc. We always met in the middle and discussed the plan of action for the house. Now I've lost my business partner helping me manage schedules and other things. I'm slowly getting my bearings and handling things just fine. Like today I'm going to sit down with my other "Mom" and go through the paperwork and get things in order for myself.

Prayers Please for MoparMom
Unknown as of yet... It's assumed to be permanent. No one knows for sure if she might get the function back. She did have a damaged kidney from her high blood pressure 2 years ago. Her good kidney had stones as well. They can't do much for the stones till she gain her strength back. 30 days maybe? I've got her set up for being set up in Weiser, ID for care facility. They would take her to Ontario, OR for the treatments. I've got that all set up already. Eventually, I'll have to come home it getting cold and I'll be forced home because of winter weather. So I've already planned ahead for her behalf. This makes it easy I can come down to Sherri's place in Weiser and see the girlfriend and then visit with Mom as well. That way I have a place to stay and visit with both of them. That way only a 2 hour drive to see Mom.

Prayers Please for MoparMom
Ok... The full story. I'm at home at this point and doing well. Mom is healing for the most part but she'll require dialysis now. So I back up a week. Wednesday 28th of September I get the job doing the roof. So I packed up the RV and finished the job in New Meadows, Idaho and went to Homedale, Idaho to start another roof job at the high school. So every morning around 8am I called home to check on MoparMom. Thurday and Friday she answered the phone and was in a up beat mood and doing well. Then Saturday the 1st of October there was no answer. That's odd. So I figured she was taking a bath and just couldn't hear the phone. About 12 noon I was getting worried so I call my neighbors Jim & Sharon Gould asked them to go over to the house and see if she was OK. They called me back and told me that she wasn't answering the door. Now I'm worried. I remembered that I left the garage door unlocked. I told Jim & Sharon to go in with my permission and see if she was OK. I waited about 5 minutes and called MoparMom answered and was rather annoyed that people were in her bedroom waking her up. She told me she did take a bath and decided to take a nap. She sounded fine so... Back to work for me. Now Sunday the 2nd of October. I called at 8am. No answer again. I continued to call all day off and on still no answer. So after work I called the neighbors again. They came over again to get her up which was odd. She didn't sound good. So I kick Keith out of my RV and packed up at 7pm and drove for home. I got home by 10pm. I got in the house it was cool, she didn't have a fire burning and she wasn't coherent. Confused and breathing rather oddly with hard exhaling breaths. I fought with MoparMom for nearly a hour to get her dressed. I told her she had the choice of me or the ambulance (911). Once she got her pants on I pick her up and carried her to the 1996 Dodge Pickup. I proceeded to drive to McCall Hospital 35 mile drive. I was there about 11:30pm. By about 1am of October 3rd they figured out she was septic and in really bad shape. The sedated her and put her on a ventilator to insure she didn't have problem being life flighted to Boise. By about 3am I drove home to attempt to get some sleep. I got home at about 4am and slept for 2 hours. I was up by 6am and making phone calls for RV parks and where she was at exactly. I proceeded to get laundry done and restock the RV. I got out of here about 1pm October 3rd. I made a plan to make it to Weiser, Idaho and catch up with Mopars Mistress (Sherri). I Told Sherri I want to stop and get a bite to eat and possible get a nap in the parking lot. So she cooked me a mean hamburger and fries. I pounded that down and went back to the RV and fell asleep in my easy chair. I was woke up 2 hours later with Hospital asking for permission for a proceedure. I got up and told Sherri thanks and proceeded to drive the rest of the way to Boise. I made it to the hospital at 10:30pm. I was tired and wiped up. During my morning phone calls I found out the St. Lukes Hospital has a RV park. So I pulled in and got slot #7. (Good Lord's Lucky number). Got a good nights sleep. Starting out the morning of the 4th. I got dressed and cleaned up and hiked over to the hospital and started paperwork. When I finally got to see Mom she was still sedated and ventalated. The nurse reduced the sedation and I was able to let her know I was there. She was totally out of it. I basically stayed at the RV waiting for phone calls and posting here and to friends on messenger. I was building my support network thaqt evening. October 5th the doctor wanted to put in a stent in her UT to help drain the infection. That went without a hitch and she did good. Still sedated and ventilated for the night. October 6th. Mom was moved out of ICU. Doctors want to get her off the ventilator. No problems. She was very confused and having a hard time remembering simple things like her birth date and where she was at. After some more test the figured out that her kidneys have shut down from the infection and would require dialysis. Father Daniel Jones called me and was wanting to come to our place for a visit. I told him that Mom was in St. Lukes Hospital. I was over at Parma with a friend getting dinner for the night. I got back over to the hospital and met up with Father Dan. We said mass in the room, had our confessions, and Mom was blessed with oils as well. Mom was spiritually in good hands at that point. October 7. She started her first session of dialysis. After 2 hours she was feeling much better. She was remembering much more. Birth date, where she was etc. She was very tired. My Fire Chief and his wife showed up and visited with Mom. She got her first meal. Vanilla cup. She keep asking for more so the nurse kept bring food to her and she kept eating. This is a good thing. October 8th. I visited with Mom this morning and watch over her as she ate breakfast. Scrambled eggs and ham. She is due to have another run with dialysis tonight. I left at about 10am and head for home. I'm home I'm safe and sound. Basically got forced home to restock the RV and do laundry. As for me tonight I've had to change a master cylinder for my clutch. I got that done and attempting to get laundry done and finding paperwork for the future. I'm working on the legal side now attempting to ensuring no legal issues in the future.

Let talk mpg and how timing vs fuel helps
Like today I'll be packing home. So I'll fill again report what my MPG is for this tank. It will be slightly higher because drive just empty truck for the last few days. I'm sure my daily MPGs were at least 18 or so. I lost my tune with the updates of the software. I'll fix it when I get home.

Questions on Airdog pump install or "re-install"
True there is better pumps out there but keep in mind of locations, size, etc.

Let talk mpg and how timing vs fuel helps
This is one of strong reasons I've never done a P7100 conversion because the timing is static which gives the VP44 better chance at producing clean power where the P7100 is rather dirty and typically lower in MPG.

Air filter recommendations?
I'm also using the BHAF and zero issues with restriction at roughly 400 HP at the flywheel. I've got the filter minder installed in the head of the filter. It never moved. Those filter minder measuring inches of water column not in inches of mercury.

Injectors
Should of sent the injectors to Idaho injection tech in Lewiston idaho. Still free to test and get pop values. I think it only 9 dollar an injector for tuning. 30 dollars is way too high period.

Quadzilla Questions?
Cable issue maybe? I know there was a problem with CANBus lead being backwards. Call Quadzilla and talk to Spencer he'll help you out.
