Best option for rebuilt ECM
ECM has absolutely nothing to to do with the electrical or the back up lights. I've got a twin set of 100w bulbs hanging on my axle. Then got four 100w bulb hang on the front bumper. The only difference is the light are relay feed. So as for ECM failure the only way I know to kill a ECM is feed it lots of AC noise from a failed alternator. Heat not even a issue. My truck see the summer heat of 105-115*F every year. Heavy towing and the whole bit. Then goes into the freezer ever year and ran at -20*F to -30*F and still no electronic failures at all. But I'm very quick to check the function of the alternator and be sure the AC noise level is low enough.

2014 VW Jetta TDI emissions
Question? We all seen the EPA come down on the diesel part manufactures for creating delete kits for diesel trucks. Then like now they are back in production again. What's the deal? I thought this kind of stuff was illegal to buy any more?

I've got no problem but mine was coming in at 2am and pissin' the dog off. Of course you can't see the darn bear at night in the dark.

2014 VW Jetta TDI emissions
Man there is days I'm glad I've not updated to the newer diesel with DPF and EGR systems. So are you going to write up your adventures of deleting all this stuff? I'm really curious of what you have to do to get over this problem.

48RE tow/haul
So what exactly is the difference from old school OD OFF and the new tow haul mode?

Bumper welding this weekend
Disconnect the positives as well. Several devices get connection to ground through the frame so unhooking the negative terminal disables the batteries but doesn't disable all the grounds. Like every thing in the dash is grounded to the driver side kick panel.

NV4500 5 speed Synchro(s)
As far as I've seen most dual disc clutches are more designed for racing than daily driving.

Brakes.
What I know a change of axle. I don't think the axle stubs are the same.
-
Brakes.
Same for the rear you need caliper and brackets as well.
-
Brakes.
Sound like a simple fix. It the pistons have gorwn in size with caked on brake fluid. Just remove them and clean the pistons up. As for doing the 3rd Gen brake up grade as far as I know they do fix both front and read axles but you must change tires and wheels.

Window Deflector
No double side tape or gluing required. Just tuck it right into the window channel and the glass pinches it into place. It can't be removed with the windows rolled up. You can leave your windows down 1-2 inches and vent the cab all day long. Just lower the windows a little bit and using any vent setting other than MAX A/C will draw air through faster. So like defogging glass turn your DEF on and it will pull more air into the glass. Another is put it on A/C (not MAX A/C) and crack your windows and it will cool the cab off faster.

Drop in injectors
Not as bad as you think. If I shot a picture from the driver eye angle there width is no different.

Drop in injectors
This summer maybe... I want to get a new set of banner sticker going for the windshield but I just need time to finish things. Turn down the Edge Comp naw... As for the gauges I took the challenge of the electric gauges to see if I can keep fuel pressure gauges from blowing senders. So far so good and hold good. I've got a design set up with Eric at Vulcan Performance on the sender brackets. So a solution is in the future. Another feature is the gauges are programmable.
