Alternator late to kick in, harder starts
That or when using a winch, I have one but only used it few times. Might use it more often if I knew it wouldn't cause damage to electrical stuff. It's a cheap 12k Harbor freight so it probably draws more amps then a worn winch. I often thought about selling mine and getting a quality winch but just don't need it to justify getting one. Hf was on sale for 300 new so I got it idk, on my old Chevy I had, I wouldn't be scared using it, but on this dodge boy it makes me think ha ha.

Trouble Starting Engine - HELP
I would think all you need to use is power from ECM, ground can come from anywhere else. All you're doing is energizing the coil in the relay, that's why it's recommended to have a protective relay, so when it denergizes it doesn't send spiked current back to ECM. It would be nice to find a pigtail that adapts to that ECM lift pump plug, so you don't have to chop it up.

47re died this morning
Sorry to hear that, hopefully you'll build it once and it will last a long time. Was just a matter of time with them bigger injectors Crazy how these transmissions were built just barely enough even for stock engine.

Alternator late to kick in, harder starts
When jumping a vehicle, if cables got cross-connected or touched each other, then the diode bridge in alternator gets fried. That alone will cause all kinds of issues. I also don't jump anything with my truck, unless absolutely necessary, even then it is only I that touch the cables. I would also use a high idle feature when jumping or winching. Hate to say it but our trucks electrical system is weak. After doing all these mods it is better but still not perfect.

Not a bad option, and nothing you couldn't handle.

Buying a rolled over truck.
Pretty sure mileage is stored in dash cluster only, there was a video here not long ago with a guy reprogramming one on the table. Not sure why they ask for mileage when programing. But yeah it's hard to believe the mileage on a used truck unless you can kinda tell who is selling it. When I used to go to car actions back in the day, I've seen quite a few same cars over the time and some of them milage changed back a few times. Funniest thing is some of the dealers bought that same car back that they sold, never understood that. All I know is most of them are crooks.

No power lots of smoke when cold
0122 apps voltage too low Get a Timbo apps and be done with it. Look in store https://mopar1973man.com/store/category/21-19985-to-2002-dodge-ram/ 1492 battery temperature sensor, should only be in charge of telling alternator how much to charge. By unplugging air intake temperature sensor and making it run better, you might be messing with ECM timing tables. But I'm still not hundred percent sure on this one. You should have a code for it also.

Help 5.9
All I can say is you need to start reading up as much as you can on these 24 valve vp44 trucks. Lots of things to learn. Do you have any gauges? Need to know your fuel pressure at the minimum. If you still have your lift pump on the key, you need to get it off from that source point. You need to do a relay mod, that most of aftermarket pumps come with. Or just simply buy a better pump, I'm guessing the one you have is a cheaper version. I would personally go with a mechanical one, like fuel boss. You do not want any fuel pressure above 7 PSI when cranking an engine to start. Having full pressure vp44 when cranking, will result in longer start times and possibly white smoke that you are seeing. In fact for testing purposes, put your lift pump on a toggle switch. Leave the lift pump off until the engine starts then kick it on. See if it starts easier without smoke. As for your ECM, I would send it in and have them fix the lift pump circuit along with whatever else could be wrong with it, be specific on what's wrong with it when you send it in. Also have them reflash it to manual transmission software that would still work with your year/make, there is some gray areas of what ECM works on what vehicle, I know that 01,02 ECMs are preferred for programming. While you at it have them enable cold idle, good feature to have but not needed especially in warm climate. Another important thing to check is your alternator for excessive AC current, more than likely you have some. Along with that, there is a WT ground mod tha is higly recommended to be done.

6 Speed manual transmission ~ NV5600 ~ General Questions
Mine's been like that since I bought it, with Pennzoil and Amsoil. I also have a fussy 3rd gear when it's cold out.

Extended crank to start
So.... I'm kinda thinking here... why are we having problems with injectors loosing pop with 20-30k on them? And originals go for 100k +. Could it be similar to front coil spacers, you put a spacer in for a heavier bumper or a plow, or just for looks, but it doesn't really support much more weight. Or you buy plow springs or springs that are longer to eliminate the spacer. Same with injector, I doubt springs get changed, more than likely just reshimmed.

I thought about putting an ecodiesel emblem on my truck with this v2 tuning

I suppose it would be possible that my abs module is faulty and triggering random ABS brake light on and not the wheel bearing itself or a front sensor

Wife thinks I need a new truck
With your knowledge I wouldn't be scared of it. it would be nice to know what injectors went in, and a bit early for clutch, unless it has more power. I like the idea of 4 door but personally if I ever get one I'm skipping 3rd gen and going straight to 4th deleted of course. I guess you probably can't delete where you live, so a preemission one is the way to go.
