If you're going to spend money on the good pump, I would almost go mechanical like fuel boss, but there are other ones out there and you can maybe live that Airtex just to prime the system, but definitely get it off ECM power. Another thing to do would be, have all your fuel lines in 1/2 inch, and I mean all, return, inside a fuel basket if you have one, ect.

No, synchromesh only, unless you want to try and repot back with results I've read of few people running something other than synchromesh but never heard the end results, probably sold the truck and never found out.

There is a delay relay mod or you can actually buy a relay with a built-in delay already. Sounds kind of confusing I know. When I made my own adjustable track bar in bought a poly bushing for $10 that was meant for bottom and used it on top instead of the ball. I still have factory press in kind in bottom as its still tight and the one that is meant to replace it at top. I was cheap at that time that's why I made my own, now I would probably just buy a kit.
