  1. If you're going to spend money anyway, just get the Adrinalin. You'll thank yourself later. And don't forget the anti-theft option on Quadzilla, good luck trying to drive it very far especially if you don't know what to unplug.
  2. How do you do that, is it the one with 600 sec, that comes out to 10 minutes not 20. Probably looking in the wrong place again.
  3. I see, make since now. Thanks or clarification. Edit: So what happens when it reaches set warm up temp, will it die then if you don't get in truck before that and put key in and on acc.
  4. Wouldn't setting egt timer to 100f would do same thing
  5. Thank you may come in handy some day. I'm guessing this won't be part of public release in regular 2.7 flash that just got updated a week or so ago. Edit: and I'm also guessing 374 is a trigger for your code.
  6. What's funny is if you go to get it, almost all sale people will say we have gl5 but it covers all previous ones.
  7. I almost bought a 7.3 but then I found the truck I got now, which I'm happy I did now. Only wish it was a true 4 door, other than that that's all I need.
  8. Just means no excessive ac output from alternator. Seems that a lot of us are around.0.03vac at idle, some less some more, if I rev mine up it can go as high as 0.1 it's a fail according to some, but I can't get it lower than that. Tried 3 different alternators, never had less than 0.028 measuring at alternator it self, not at batteries. So I'm calling it good, when mine did partly fail I believe it was around 0.1 idling. Ended up being just one half failed diode and wore out brushes with atmature. It still charged fine.
  9. Does that mean mpg stuff and loading tune bar will be under 98-02 profile and not quadzilla only @Quadzilla Power
  10. Is this an aftermarket relay or in fues box I'm just curious, if you got a picture be even better for reference, thanks.
  11. I always looked at it as filters on fass or air dog will plug first anyway especially in morning if set outside all night if not treated to whatever temperature. And if it's fine then soon after fuel will start to warm up from engine anyway, in your case it sucks and returns to basket so it kinda short-circuits. Plus I don't like the idea of opening fuel filter housing from top and crap can fall in. I like having more room for excess not having filter housing on engine. But I suppose there are pros and cons to each. Fass does have extra ports if a guy wanted to plump heater hoses to it to keep fuel from gelling but it won't help on cold starts ether.
  12. I hope you didn't buy vp from part store, just never heard anything good about them kinda like alternators, hit and miss. And how were they able to diagnose that I'm very curious, hunch or we're there codes that led them to it. Still there is always testing that need be done before condemning vp. @Mopar1973Man any suggestions
  13. Is it still the case now or something changed. It looks like 2.7 got some more updates not sure what else changed.
  14. Sounds more like apps, 216 would be for vp, I would double check everything before getting vp and having same problem. Scan with a good scanner for codes, make sure all grounds in good shape. Minimal ac comming from alternator, mine is around 0.03vac at idle with all accessories off and make sure you drove the truck first so grids are not cycling. I usually check mine after i come home and before I shut engine off. And you'll need a better volt Meter then a 10 dollar ones. Don't have to be top o gb the line but need to be able check in thousands like on below.
  15. Sorry this is off subject kinda but @Dynamic friend of mine has a 12vale I believe it's a 95 and when on hwy he pushes go pedal down but instead of downshifting it seems like it up shifts and becomes a dog. I don't know if torque converter is doing something funny or the tranny it self, someone suggested adjusting kick down cable too. Otherwise it doesn't slip and shifts firm, if it was an older Chevy tranny I'd try helping him adjusting kick down cable as its very simple on a Chevy, pop clip full throttle as throttle all the way depressed put clip back in and done, but on doge I just don't know. Supposedly he took his alternator to shop and had it rebuild, specifying that it was still charging but needed to make sure diodes were good. Anyways thanks or any input.
  16. Why ? isn't with quad v2 SO would be a better choice? Reason I'm asking is I'm not sure on health of my vp and from passed readings people say SO is the way to go unless you just doing rv275 then HO is better option because of slightly higher pressure for atomization.
  17. I couldn't believe the few small boost leaks I had after i fixed them how much different it was.
  18. You can just use smily that's laughing in original post to say ha ha, just saying. Don't take it the wrong way. Edit; and now I realize that you did ha ha. My bad. You me
  19. Here is mine and I love it. I had to buy the little red knob on the shifter separate, it came with a toggle switch that I used for first few years.
  20. I believe I got my 150 titanium from thoroughbred diesel, they had best deal at time. Then I registered it with fass.
  21. May have to do a hot wire test on vp.
  22. It's on outside of oring, so must be just dirt. Wire brush should do it. Maybe tape off where oring is with some tape so you don't damage it.
