High amp alternator
@outlaw7 if you figure it out make 2 power supplies, I want it neat plug and play like Mikes high idle switch, I'll buy one from you lol. At least main components like you mentioned will be protected, if it's all possible. Never know you might just come up with something. And it would be nice to have extra guage to monitor ac noise at different occasions, it be like fuel guage for vp.

Custom Quadzilla Tuning R & D Thread
I love my 6 for towing which I don't do a lot, but driving around not as much. Taking off in 2nd without slipping the clutch almost impossible and taking off in 1st is too low but I'm used to it now. Built auto would be great too but but then my wife would probably want to dive it

24v getting shitty fuel mileage!
Tunes you can download are here https://mopar1973man.com/forum/185-standard-quadzilla-adrenaline-tunes/ and you'll need an app for your phone that you can get at play store or here, preferably android for phone and get I quad BT if you have an android http://quadzillapower.com/iquad-module-for-adrenaline/ This will replace your old monitor that came with quadzilla originally. Unless you already have all this.

Parking brake failure
Once I parked my car in front of the garage which was downhill, came out in the morning and half the car was in a garage, 2 bottom panels were broken. Had it in gear but forgot parking brake, compression was weak I guess somehow it had enough force to do that in gear. It's ether that or someone borrowed it.

Parking brake failure
@BBHD Wow, did you put that burch under it or it was there and that's why truck ended up being where it is, at first I thought you were working on it, easy excess lol, but realized it sleed up that burch

Drop light come back...
That exactly what I did to mine a while back after I got tired of braking bulbs and using potato to get them out, just cause I've seen it done someplace.

Diesel smell
Patchouli, knew a guy that used it daily, he could be covered in crap and still smell like Patchouli, I always gave him crap about it.

I got mine at Cummins at $10 a piece I don't see why a guy can't take a piece of fuel hose that size and cut little pieces at right length

Switched to Quadzilla iQuad!
I have Samsung s6 and s7 that I use with quad. If you download a tune from repository, go to open another tab and scroll down and you'll see the file you just downloaded, before clicking on it make sure app for qwadzila is open and running in back ground, then click on it and it will ask open with quadzilla chose yes then you can rename it and do whatever else. Works for me, it worked on s5 too. In new tab it will look like this.

Maintenance - BHAF Replacement
How many miles/years did you get out of the last one I thought about drilling a hole in the elbow and putting filter minder in there, so you don't have to drill a hole in a filter every time.

Prolonged starting after springs and pushrods
If you pulled injectors out then maybe connecting tube to injector could be leaking, losing prime that way. Did you make sure old washers came out with injectors. May want to double check valve lash, when I did my head gasket I got all valves adjusted and then rotated engine over few times and rechecked and almost all were lose so I went through and did them again. Something must of settled.

Electrical Gremlins
I see, I'll just keep walking, too broke to pay attention

Door hinge
I use motor oil but before it if I have to brake something lose or get oil residue deep down I use PB Blaster and then oil. WD40 is garbage imo.

BPA that's why if anyone is using plastic food containers and microwaves their food in them especially liquid, that is known to cause cancer among other things. Same goes for other dishes and coffee cups. Use glass and stainless steel or ceramic, you get the idea, same goes for beer in aluminum cans or pop, all this crap is killing us slowly, along with gmo's in foods and fluoride in water and toothpaste, that is only slightly beneficial when it's in contact with the enamel itself and not consumed, when consumed it does major damage to lots things. Sorry I had to.

Quadzilla Warmup / High Idle
I actually don't mind it, i used it few times to back up at a steady speed lol. And once I was on some sleek dirt going up hill, so I put it in 1st 4x4 low and high idle on and walked beside the truck for a little bit observing it, I'm weird like that.

Quadzilla Warmup / High Idle
That was my main concern, because I'd be using that 6 high idle if I'm jumping or winching, and will probably unplug qwadzila at that point. Thinking about putting power wire on toggle switch for quadzilla the one that goes to the battery, that way I don't have to pop the hood and unplug it every time. Unless it can back feed from other wires and still fry it.

Is that my Honda engine- Quadzilla Warmup / High Idle
@Mopar1973Man will high idle stay on as long as selector knob is on 3 or 6 position of your switch? Or if the truck is up to operating temperature it will cancel out and let's say I just pulled up some place (in mpg mode)and I need to leave the truck running for 15 minutes (truck is fully warmed up) by flipping switch to 6 cyl high will it turn on and stay on until I flipp it off or mpg mode?- Steering gear leaking at bottom
if you could update this when you pop the cap open, just curious why it cracked. I have a feeling something got loose inside and as you turn steering it got jammed between the cap and cracked it.- Consensus on tapped pump
@AH64ID I think the reason manufacturer recommends shorter intervals is just to cover their behind and maybe sell more filters. I always wondered how does the filter go bad unless it's plugged, so in my mind as long as pressure drop doesn't occur more than normal, or the filter housing rusts away assuming it's a spin on, I'm going to keep using them. I haven't changed my fuel filters in a few years now, but I also only have maybe 25k on them now. but still they look great on the outside and I don't have big PSI swings 2 PSI Maybe. Does filter media go bad or maybe if they use any glue deteriorates? just trying to figure out how they even go bad. Not arguing by any means.- Consensus on tapped pump
So is this mean you change factory filter at that interval or is this on AD filter that has a drain. Also I think a lot of fuel issue has to do with EPA making gas stations update their ground tanks and smaller places can't afford that and instead take the deal from government on having someone dig up old tanks and lots of dirt that was contaminated and not putting new tanks in. They actually get some money to take care of old tanks but it's peanuts compared to putting new tanks in, so most just stop selling fuel and if can't stay busy other ways go out of business. So I think bad fuel will be more of a rare occasions with time.- Consensus on tapped pump
@Mopar1973Man what do you use to cut filters upart, I've seen some what looks like chain on vise grips with bunch of roller cutters that would fit anything from 2 to maybe 6" diameter but I can't seem to find what the exact name for them is to buy a set. Edit: Here is a couple I just found first one is for exhaust but it may work on a filter https://m.ebay.com/itm/GearWrench-2031DD-Exhaust-and-Tailpipe-Cutter/272996967336?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20171010182013%26meid%3Da7377f09f7a943b8988bc5561588e25d%26pid%3D100890%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D222538574392&_trksid=p2056116.c100890.m2460 This other one is for filters and looks like there are other versions https://m.ebay.com/itm/Oil-Filter-Cutter-Inspection-FREE-SHIPPING-IMCA-USMTS/322599142034?hash=item4b1c684292:g:MhwAAOSwGIRXaAvX- Thermostat
It does with in 10 degrees i believe, I had my trany temp guage plugged in oil line for a while and it was very similar to coolant. Makes sense, that's why oil cooler gets cooled with antifreeze.- So I made a decision
Thanks, I'm full of myself today lol. Patience, hydraulic press, dile indicator, yellow marking paint, lots of reading on how to. Not sure if I'd recommend it for you on a dd vehicle, need to practice on a bitter first. I did few sets in my life and it's not bad once you know what's involved, but if done wrong, and we're talking thousands then kiss your gears good buy and time money spent doing it. - H-Pump Info
