I believe it's because the round doesn't always go through and tumbles inside doing more damage. What I heard at least.

Full Blown Hijacker's Thread........
I really like .40 with good ammo it packs a punch, easier to shoot then a .45 more rounds etc. Although I did qualify with a .45 when I first got my ccp, even instructor said " everyone brings a 9 mm because they're scared to not qualify with a bigger one " that's all I had at the time, still got 95% however they counted that. You had to shoot five rounds, then reload then shoot five more, I believe one of my rounds was just on the edge of inner circle that's why they took five points off. I told the guy I was nervous being everyone's watching, he said you were going to be good even if you were inside the target itself which was about the size of a frying pan and here I was trying to hit a 5-in circle On the other note they say 22 is like the deadliest round

2006 Dodge 3500 - Installing Valair (quiet) dual disc clutch
And here for the longest time I fought 06,07 were better years to get before emmisions crap came out guess it's not bad years if you feel like swapping out pistons and injectors. I really like 4th gens, but the only way I would ever buy one if it was deleted, I'm afraid though in not so distant future they might be going after all other states that don't check for that sort of thing. Here in Iowa they started to crack down on tuner shops, telling them to stop deleting and tuning trucks, just matter of time before it's a law everywhere. Guess our 2nd gens will go up in price some more. I really feel like they are going to be a collectors item one day if diesel is still legal on the road.

Must have been a fiat decision not Cummins, or so I hope. What did they do so special, forgive me I don't know much about newer trucks, other than I'm not ready to buy one yet.

It's definitely more expensive that's for sure. I got a daily driver vw tdi that I put a cp3 on instead of what it came with cp4 and had all kinds of nightmares trying to tune it so it ran well, got it close but still not perfect. Of course I don't have the software and tools to do it so I had to pay a guy hourly to use his stuff while we were going back and forth on emais with another tuner guy that was trying his best to get it run smove. I've put 50k on it this way it's good enough for going to work and I don't have to worry about cp4 blowing up top end ruining the entire fuel system. Stupid vw, gm, and whoever else decided to save few bucks going to cp4, why mess with a good thing, they must of saved $50 on production line, bastards.

Best place to get switched power or power from light switch
No I always leave it on when using the inverter, could be batteries I get from carqwest, that's the local parts store there.

Oil leak fixed.....I hope.
Well this way we stay on top of things instead if being them other guys that one just called me and said " hey buddy's car ran low on oil and it's knocking, do you think it'll be ok?" Lol I asked what car, it's some sonata pos, told him they better of finding a used engine then try to fix that garbage. Amazes me that so many that don't have much money are so lazy to check something simple like oil to avoid these types of situations.

Wonder how hard these inverters are on batteries, I got one on my work truck and it seems I have to change battery every 3-4 years, but it's worth it on that thing as I use it a lot plus I don't pay for batteries there

Mine only had one charge wire that went to drivers side battery and now it goes to passenger side with a 150amp breaker. Where do your wires go to now? And if I were you I'd get rid of that fram filter and get yourself a donaldson.- Moving to almost the great white north.
I see, lol that would be funny to watch while having a beer and yelling something out- Quadzilla adrenaline for mpg's is it worth it?
It's not as bad as you think, it looks intimidating at first, after you spend some time with it you start to realize how easy it is and thinking why haven't I got one sooner.- Elbow
I kept mine in because I don't want air turbulating when entering turbo, some say it doesn't affect the performance with the ring in or out just more for noise, but I'd like to think a smooth transaction is better than a sharp edge.- IT NEW HEAD TIME!
probably jag1 messing with things again- Moving to almost the great white north.
thanks man, some day I may take you up on that offer. As much as I want to change some things in my life right now I need to make sure I don't do any big mistakes rushing into things. Maybe some day I'll get something similar going, till then enjoy your dreams man I'll be saving for that log cabin in mean time. Are you talking about people driving trucks on ice- Pilothouse/RAM3500 build
Now we need to find a way to mass produce these types of cabs, it'll take some collection of Sapporo cans no doubt.- Elbow
- Crossover Tubes - Replace vs. Reuse
Last time I changed my injectors I used carb cleaner on all tubes sprayed backwards and then compressed air, looking through them I could see day light and all 4 holes were clear, or so that's what my memory tels me. I know some even drill them out for more flow. Idk to each their own I suppose.- IT NEW HEAD TIME!
That's why I went with Manton push rods and valve springs just to be safe. I drive it like I stole it every so often.- IT NEW HEAD TIME!
I was thinking someone was sled pulling and floated valves and overheated the engine guess doesn't matter now, good luck in rebuilt. Waiting on more pictures. maybe there's something here you'll find helpful - Doing the w-t gound mod
