Didn't even think of airplane mode, will give it a try. Thanks. When you say restart, just the app or do you restart phone. I tried everything even shut the truck off and when it didn't help I unplugged quad from battery and it still didn't help. Aventualy it started to work again.

I can't seem to feel any sputter, but I do have an issue with quad crashing for no reason not even touching any buttons. Keeps showing this And even if I unpair it from quad it still does it, like the app itself is caput. I tried it with s6 that is dedicated to quad and after not having any luck used s5 my phone and same thing, after a while I got the s5 to work, and later decided to try s6 and same thing so then switched back to s5 and s5 don't want to work so another 10 min later got the s5 to work. I think problem is in apk because before this last update it only crashed when switching levels too soon and now I'll be driving and not even touching anything and it can stop working, so whatever happened in last update whether it's flash or apk something got screwed up. I know others having same problems. Read reviews in app store. Using 1998-2002 v2 in vehicle selection.

That might explain why with my 75hp injectors I start at high 70 low 80 for my tunes otherwise it will smoke, but yet I can max out canbus around 14-16psi if flored.

Tire balance
Little update, had a slight shake so I decided to add another oz of beads. So I went to unscrew valve stem and found that beeds waged themselves in there and had to use a small drill bit to get a pice of it out. On the next one I decided to blow air in just incase to blow it clean, well after I removed air chock valve was leaking, so same thing had to fight to get it out, 3 out of 4 were like that, so I put different valve stems in with a spring that block beeds from coming in stemming all together. Both valve stems came with these beeds, so obviously the ones with little red end are junk.

It's all American made there, and that's all they do so they know what's up, most of time, I straighten them up lol. Zach is cool and will do you right, maybe even tell you his opinion on what you need for compounds. You can send yours in and they will rebuild it or keep yours and pay $100 core, he has options. I payed 900 for mine and got to keep my old one. All balanced too.

95 12 valve busted gear case
He's going to jb weld it, we'll see how it goes. What about the pin should he get one or leave it out. And anyone knows why tranny doesn't kick down from od and seem to hunt lock unlock.

So, buddy of mine that I work with got a 95, 4x4, auto supposedly built for pulling trailers , 220k 8' box, regular cab. Title says gas, also brake booster doesn't seem to be hydraulic like on mine, it's round like on a gas truck but no vacume lines going to it or place for it. Anyhow it was leaking oil out front someplace and guy that was selling it just got it and decided to sell it, so it's a cat in a bag. I looked at it with him and gave him my . For $2900 it seemed like it was fixable and drove ok accept it seems to shift to od too soon and when flored doesn't kick down and seems to be hunting lock unlock. Front cover was soaked and dirty, seller said it was front seal or so he was told that by po. I said right of way that it seems like oil is coming from top someplace but who knows could be flinging of the crank upwards. Now that he's working on it he found this, see picture. His question, how much is he looking at to fix crap inside assuming worst case scenario. I'll update pictures as he sends them to me. Trying to get him to join this site, but I think he's already thinking of selling it. Edit: all gears seem fine, pin is missing, in the oil pan I guess. How important is it to put new pin in, it it only for assembly and now that the case is in place it will be fine or? On the case it self I'm thinking jb weld? He feels better now that the gears look good.

^^^^^ agreed, I would only offer what you think you can sell it for and remember time you'll put in it. It sounds like someone's unfinished project that they gave up for a reason.

I think we're splitting hair if we only talking about few degrees of timing but at same time I'm stuck on stupid lol, plus I don't get enough beauty sleep for my brain to function properly. Anyways after compression stroke where both valves are closed comes power stroke where both valves are still closed, it's not till exhaust stroke when that energy leaves cylinder. So in my mind time we benefit when we get more complete burn so we're not losing energy and it forces other pistons harder to push exhaust gas out and forget what I was going to say. Oh its Friday.

I would guess so, I don't see how unburnt fuel can spool anything it's the explosion that produces pressure that should move some air through turbo, but I could be wrong there too. Just makes more sense this way

Little late to this party but isn't retarding timing means it won't burn completely, and advancing it will. I always thought more air/fuel and advancing timing acordingly will be more power. So more air and fuel you add you need more time to burn so advanceing timing in my mind is what needs to happen. Too much and it will ping meaning it will explode and would almost want to push piston backwards before it gets to tdc. I don't know at least that's how I always did this.

2000 ECU in a 1999 5.9L Cummings
Didn't want to start a new thread, so excuse me please. I found a parts truck that I'm thinking of getting few things like, ecm, abs module, some misc stuff. ECM guy wants 400, abs 75, truck has 190k, it's a 6 speed like mine the difference is mine is 02 and this is 01, will ecm work? That's my main concern, I'd like to have a spear. I like the ones that mount to the backside of a turbo, less chance for exhaust leaks and less space to fill for the back pressure to build. But it will limit you on turbo upgrades later, that's why I just had one built for mine that still uses 3 inch flange with bigger guts inside, so far I like it. My exhaust brake is BD and works pretty good, can't speak for others. On tire size, if you have 410s I would run at least 285/70/17 if you have 17 inch wheels, or something similar for 16 inch. that's what I have with 3.55, but that's just my personal preference, you'll get mixed reviews on this.

Me and better half just went to Hawaii maui last winter, and drove about 100ml around an iland in a jeep, it was awesome and locals flew by us like we were getting in a way and I thought I was doing good passing everyone else. It was expensive but something both of us wanted to do and figured if we didn't do it now we'd never get it done. Views were amazing and very similar to pictures above plus the ocean.

Can you specify exactly what you ordered, like mini d2s, chrome or black, are they talking outside or inside, then paint option seems expensive you can get a can of good paint for less than $10, and halos is it something going around the light when it's not lit just for looks, trying to get an idea on looks vs price.

Sure go figure now that I just got done spending way over 2 grand on head gasket and turbo, I now have to explain to my wife why I need to see where I'm going and that I'm running low on clear coat. This is awesome setup, will be definitely on a shopping list, everyone that rides with me always asks if my lights are on. I love the fact that you don't have to mess with lenses and this set up is using bigger projectors. What's the price difference buying what you got complete and doing what @Me78569 did. I'll need to get new housings ether way, I think I'm money ahead buying a complete set up, plus saved time.

b-20 fuel
Few issues I heard about are, long term storage growing algy in tank if not used on daily basis and moisture it has in it same thing if truck sits month at a time it will attack fuel system, corrosion, speaking of bio stuff. If used daily should be fine, and yes anything over 5% bio no need to add 2 cycle oil.
