Quadzilla Tuning - From a newbies point of view
because there was a HUGE HUGE HUGE amount of work that would have needed to be done to make the old lvl 0 be the new level 1 and valet mode be lvl 0. nearly all sections of the code would have had to be redeveloped.

Building a he351 standalone controller
I dont honestly remember %100. I think you tie in a 5 volt source to the pin 7 using a 10k resistor. Then the pin 7 goes to your arduino sensor input pin.

Building a tune around OEM timing
There are OEM datalogs in this article you can also do the datalogging yourself and see what OEM timing is doing

The Future of Trucks
Anyone that says electric is free is clearly not looking at the entire picture. My excitement is in the technology and how well electric is suited to a drivetrain. The automotive world will look alot different in 20-30 years.

Changed turbo and exhaust manifold - now I have white smoke under acceleration
ugh that sucks. hard to see new parts fail like this.

The Future of Trucks
https://www.motortrend.com/news/toyota-solid-state-battery-ev-2021/ Solid state batteries in testing next year. wide production of solid state batteries will help all around with range and charge times. We will see where Musk ends up with his cathode free and cobalt free as well. interesting stuff.

Changed turbo and exhaust manifold - now I have white smoke under acceleration
I think you it just needs to get up to temp. it looks to me like exhaust from a truck that has sat for awhile. I don't think it is coolant or oil.

Two Stroke Deleted 2018
I am not sure if the CR3 pump suffers from the same issue with fuel spec as the VP44 does. I don't run 2 stroke as I am pretty sure bosch took US diesel into consideration when deisgning the pump.

Changed turbo and exhaust manifold - now I have white smoke under acceleration
That would be my guess. I would run it for a bit and see if it clears up.

Changed turbo and exhaust manifold - now I have white smoke under acceleration
I would jump to anyrhing yet. How much white smoke are we talking about? How long has the truck sat for while parts came in?

Moving to almost the great white north.
someone turned on winter mode. we have had a few days of -10* so far and the snow is starting to build up finally. Ice fishing has been slow, but it is better than working.

Injectors
yes

Injectors
call DAP up and get some 7 x .010's and a sxe 62. that's a proven 500 hp setup that is well mannered.

Eng. Rattle On Cold Mornings
My truck always did this. I never worried about it. Also timing is hugely high to start on cold morning.

Possible Game Changer for lighting our trucks $211
I am not a fan of the 2stroke from them. I don't like moving parts of that nature.

47RE manual shift lever problem
I had the issue with sloppy shifting and it was part number 3 in the top diagram. there is one on either side of the rod that centers it.

Turbo/Injector Advice
I'd do the quad + the 57 gxe + 7 x .010's for a work horse build if I was going to build one today.

High EGTs when towing
here was my messing with it. Keep in mind that 320 bar is not creating extra wear. 310 stock is only the pop pressure, the pump continues to build pressure's much higher than 320 bar. I ran all the way up to 350 bar witout noticeable issue. I noted the best mileage and smoke control and driveablity at 330 bar. Was it worth it? I dunno looking back on it, it was fun to mess with, but the normal guy wouldn't notice.

- High EGTs when towing
Make sure you don't have OEM high idle enabled. that's what it sounds like.- Torn between the two 6.7L's need opinions
23k is too much for 200,000 miles in my mind. It is still a vehicle and stuff wears out. - High EGTs when towing
