  1. My AD faied twice and both times it ran and drove. The VP will pull fuel thru a dead gear rotor pump. When my oe pump died it shut the truck down and it would not restart.
  2. If its really badthey tape your open and make you watch a video.
  3. You could just put battety power to it first and see if runs properly. The bad thing with bypassing the ECM is you loose control of it shutting the pump down in case of a wreck and you are knocked out. If the fuel line ruptures the pump will keep pumping fuel untill you turn it off.
  4. Check for trouble codes while you are at it.
  5. I agree. But the last time I am not sure I even had that choice. This is more like the choice I felt I had. Not sure what to do the next election with what I am seeing today. Maybe I need to come out and try a couple shots on the high speed rail to make an informed decision!!!!

  7. I voted for DJT and have wondered why since. All I need to see is this and my question is answered. 4 years of this would have put me in the ground.
  8. Comes off 0% when I am on the throttle from 0 tp 100%. But I still see 0% at idle. My grids are disconnected, but never looked while the AC was on. I was just surprise a few days ago that my AC still worked when the temps shot up here the other day. Replaced the compressor and some other stuff and was not sure it was going to hold but it did. Victory for me. I will check that tomorrow and see what load it might show. I would expect to see some load at idle, but again dont know how good the SCII is at reading load.
  9. I am getting very close to having the time to pull my head and replace the gasket. I am in need of a machine shop to take it to. @Haggar and @Manimalmother both are in my neighborhood, but maybe some others here might be able to recommend a shop to take mine to after I pull it would help.. Any input from any of you would be appreciated'.
  10. I see yall speaking of engine load while idling. My scan gauge shows 0% while idling. It has for quire some time. Is the scan gauge II the least bit accurate for that measure?
  11. the quad cab front doors have square corners at the bottom where it meets the rear doors. the 2 doors are round on that corner.
  12. Seems to me if you can work something in there to free it up you could work it back out just as easy.
  13. What injectors did you put in? Stock? I picked up some mileage and performance with the RV 275's. Nice little bump in power even without a tuner.
  14. I changed my oe ones around 240k when an oring failed. Other than that i never noticed any changd in how the truck ran and no loss of mpg during that time.

  16. Maybe a different swithch mounted above or below the adjustment knob on the door panel?? Just thinking out loud.
  17. Are you getting voltage from the ECM with the key on?

  19. There are some screws that need to be installed from the backside of the dash pad so do the pad before putting the dash or HVAC box in place. I used Mikes article on replacing the heater core and evaporator to pull mine.
  20. It goes thru the firewall. You need to put a 90 or some tubing on it after install or it will drain into the floor board.
  21. Thats why i suggest calling, i have seen that on his sight for a couple years.
  22. I have seen the same reference to out of stock. But at least 2 members here have received units from him in the past week or so. I would recommend calling them to confirm availability. I have seen that same message for a while now.
